I do enjoy them, but honestly not that much not as much as i enjoy metroidvania games and finalfantasy/ dq games, i never finished the battle network games from 3 or 4iirc then To the ds ones, i got srpg burn out at that time iirc but looking at the collection re releases it makes me think to give it a shot lol
Yeah i just wanted to put it there because i was thinking of life sim/management game but it kinda fell into strategy on fights and on hyperlist from spin its under strategy thats why i got torn too but probably we got the same opinion on the rpg management game it could fall under the same tree as rune factory but i am unsure haha

Since the managing your monsters, what to feed them, the training, what mechanics you want your monsters to interact with, what tournaments in join, even the prize money can be part of a person's long-term strategy late game. If seen threads about how to strategize what moves to get and the downsides of getting certain ones as you'll have to have the worst ones too. And how to optimize your time and training. ... sorry for the long comment!
Yess will do a remastered series with longer gameplays soon with voice just settings mic and a better place up ang fixing some life stuff :D hope you stay tuned for it haha

What do you think of the Mega Man Battle Network games?

I don't know that I would have called Monster Rancher 2 a strategy game. But it is a fun game.

Thanks but I would have had FF tactics advance at the number one spot.
Fair enough haha would love that too its really hard making these list with great games its like choosing from 2 favorites haha
For me it would be:
- Advance wars 1 and 2
- Fire emblem binding blade, blazing blade, sacred stones
- Tactics ogre
- Final Fantasy Tactics
