The new armor is kinda OP specially in duels. Combine it with two major charms that increase perfect parry window and you aee basically unkillable even in lethal
Or just stick with ghost armour and instantly kill 8 - 10 energy's now we have kunai assassinaion and charm that doubles minor charms so just pop in the detection reduction minors you become invincible/invisible able to literally walk up to enemy's and assassinate them.
Chain it up to 5x with kunai assassinaion and you have instant ghost stance for another 4-5 instant kills with no threat what so ever, pop smoke if needed and repeat.
+ ghost armour doesn't make you look like a conehead from that movie..... coneheads

What charms do you run for this armor set ? Think 3 melee increase is overkill
@@The-Spanish-Inquisition490 Thats one way but sarugami armor basically throws away the need for ghost weapon and assasination. With the right build you can just stand in the middle of a camp, call for the whole army and take care of them all at the same time without using even a single ghost weapon. This armor literally turns jin into a superhero and you dont really have to wear the conehead helmet if you dont like it
@@bigpuppyshoes5033 For my major charm I run the two charms that increase parry window time, forgot the names but the second charm is something you get from the monkey sanctuary and the first one from one of the shrines of tsushima isle. The minor charms dont really matter much anymore with those two major charms combined. I just placed 4 resolve gain minor charms.

I just wish we had transmog. I love the perks on this new armor, but Gosaku's Armor is way too cool looking.

True. It's one of the coolest armors in the game
I think the kensei armor is the coolest. Transmog would be cool but I Essentially built my loadouts to only using 3 armors for different situations being ghost for stealth, kensei for roaming, missions, and camps, and suragami for duels. (Used to be Gosaku)
The Versatile Skills Charm, definitely a favorite for my Gosaku, Saki and Samurai Clan Armors. The Horse Charge and armor is a nice touch, but the saddlebags you get for liberating Fort Saki is the biggest bonus for Ghost and Archery builds.
I hope they keep adding more to the game like new armor dyes, sword kits, and new armor.

Small correction for the video: You get the charm of versatile skills for reaching max legend on iki island, not for completing the duels.
no its from doing the duels, i got it from doing them while still having plently of legend to grow.

The charm build I’ve made for the Sarugami Armor boosts Perfect Parry/Dodge windows while increasing Resolve gains to play to the armor’s perks.
Reject Ghost, return to monke.

@@Justin-hd2vzmashira's protection, i have it, that's the one that increases the perfect parry and perfect dodge and i also have the charm of mizu-no-kami which makes it easier to preform parries, perfect parries and perfect dodge. If you are a sarugami user i heavily encourage you to get these charms, with the right skill you'll be basically untouchable.
For the sarugami armour i found an insane build with it so the charm of Susano the charm of versatile skills,inaris might, resistance 3, charm of silence and the charm of fortune.
Horse armor is awesome , cause I use to love to see how many troops I could knock off their horse with just using my sword , and it was kinda like jousting , but any archer who shot a arrow , there was no way to deflect or take a hit , so now I can stay on my horse longer and do charging jousting matches with npc opponents , lol just a cool thing I liked doing from time to time , I mean mounted Calvary was typically used against infantry soldiers on foot ! And was heavily applied to battlefield tactics in real life warfare !
One thing i really liked is the the base enemy being able to switch their weapon and the bigger enemy with the double blade spear.
I hope the Perfect Parry and Perfect Dodge perks become a skill by itself in the sequel. It’s very useful and fun but relegating it to just one set of armor seems weird to me. It’d look cool with Jin doing these moves in his Ronin and Ghost attires!
You can do it in any armour, you just aren't practiced enough to achieve it regularly if that's the case. I have killed innumerable enemies with perfect parrying in the Ghost attire and Ronin attire.
There is a perk specifically for giving a 1/5 chance to cause terror on a perfect parry kill. Combine this with the 40% increase to terror enemies with a skill that causes terror on the Ghost armour and you have a 28% chance of causing terror in the Ghost armour with a perfect parry kill.
If you have a PS5 the increased frame rate makes killing with the perfect parry easier. I have beat the game 3 times. Perfect parrys are an essential skill and can be done in any armour.

I am just having a blast with GoW look Sakai Clan armor. Fire build and crit build. BOY THE LOOK IS SO DOPE.
That new armor makes the swordplay more fun, didn’t think that was possible lol
if you’re the guy that wants to press an army alone, this is the armor for you, if you like being stealthy and maybe terrifying people, use the ghost armor, although if you like a little bit of both i’d say the Ronin armor is the way to go, kensei armor can be veryyy fun and strong once you have the right charms
Do you have a video that explains the best Charm Combos for the Armor sets? I wish there was a way to change out the charms with the armor, so I can alter my play style as quickly as I can change my armor.

Correction, the Versitile skills charm is earned at max legend for Iki, since I did tourney before I killed the eagle I got it after I beat iki story, so yeah
With my playing style I Loved the Kensie armor.. Mainly ghost weapons up by 30% and when hit they drop % of their hits and take 50% more damage (those that were hit with the ghost weapon)
I completed the duels and I didn't get charm of versatile skills
I just got it from doing the horse armour mythical tale
You get it by reaching max legend on iki island.

since the game came out i always focused on perfekt dodge and parry cause it's just much cooler and effective ..... and now with this armour lollllll lethal candyplay

We all know this new armor is awesome , but if you guys pay attention, you´ll find a detail that ressembles to the Ghost armor, and that is the dance of the wrath technique.

That’s a terrible idea as that would be extremely op and make the armor useless why would they give us a unique armor then just make the effects able to be used with other armors
If SP would develop this beautiful game into a open world multiplayer it would blow Rockstar out of the water in my opinion. Better than RDRO and I'm a huge Red dead fan.
It would blow rdo out of the water but not anything else I love rockstar as a company and they put so much love into their games and detail and idont mind waiting 8 years for each new game from rockstar. The only thing that ruins them is the online but if you leave online out of the picture no one can beat rockstar

Whenever I hit a perfect Dodge during a dual I get hit anyway in this armor, feels like it's sabotaged

I always wanted the armor mythic tales to give special abilities and the armor would enhance the special ability given by completing the tale.
I didn't get the Versatile Skills charm after doing the duels. Got a wooden sword. Yay.

Hey so wondering if you have all the vanity gear? I have 80/81 and I can’t find the last one. It’s the one on the left of the map at the shattered cliffs and I can’t seem to find it.
Do all archer lantern challenges immediately. You can increase the focus function by 2.5 seconds. Iki expansion makes the archer ridiculous
Sarugami is my favorite armor in therms of perks and abilities, but unfortunately not the best looking one. Sucker Punch should have added TransMog option 😢

The 60 dollar one gives you both. For the 20 dollar one you have to have the base game to play it in the first place.
The double minor charm combined with archery concentration time arm made it a doddle to get gold on all the archery challenges.
How does that work exactly... It says only if it’s the only one of a certain category. Does that mean you can’t have 2 melee charms at all? or just that you can’t have 2 of the same exact charm like 2 bludgeoning or 2 precision or whatever else. Or do you have to only have like one melee one defense one bow one utility or whatever for it to even work.

Can you get these charms in the main game or you have to buy the dlc cuz I want that charm that allows you to throw a kunai during a chain assassination cuz that'll be perfect for the ghost armour tied with the ghostly fury charm and the charms that boost chance of you scaring someone after killing a enemy and the ones that lowers your detection speed ooohhhhhh loorrrrrd imma be a stealth *GOD*
So I cleared the entire tournament, 4 opponents down and new dye merchant unlocked. But I never got the Charm of Versatile Skill. A big shame since it s really the one that attracts me the most...
Could it be that you played early access and they moved this charm to somewhere else?

You only get versatile skills charm when you max out your legend status on iki

Does anyone know, If you can use the new abilities, armours and charms in the main game as well? I'm playing The Director's Cut and nearly finished act 2 and the side quests so far. If so, I would start the iki Expansion now, get the new cool stuff and continue the rest of the main story afterwards...

Honestly, after finishing the game on lethal+ without any defense charms AND the charm of frailty (one hit death), I was so hoping this armour would be the final difficulty bump. Like I would’ve LOVED if the armour didn’t make perfect parries and dodges easier to do.
Then just wear the broken armor then if that is what you want...

I just wish we’d have gotten a better looking sarugami helmet. It’s supposed to be samurai armor but the helmet just looks too silly. Was hoping for something similar to the samurai clan helmet but the general shape of the sakai clan helmet.

How to take out a Mongol convoy in Ghost of Tsushima:
1. Throw on the fully upgraded Sakai armor & challenge the opps to a standoff
2. Yeet a BP bomb whilst wearing the Kensei armor & the Charm of Incineration equipped
3. *_RUN THEM BITCHES DOWN WITH YOUR HORSE!_*
(Only works if you’ve bought the Director’s Cut.)
