Just want to point out that the South Korean president being impeached is an example of democracy in action in the face of a man who wanted to go full fascist. You can mention that it's a state of political unrest, that's becoming more common around the world, sure. But theirs is an example we should emulate.
We'll need to take to the streets again, to challenge any un-Constitutional legislation. At least the Pentagon has refused to comply with martial law unless it's necessary. And law enforcement in border states refuse to comply with mass deportation. People have a right to due process, especially those sent to sanctuary cities. We pay for our social safety net that MAGA says are socialist entitlements. MAGA chaos is similar to those dictators who provoke confrontations. South Koreans who protested Yoon Suk Yeol are to be commended. Trump should've been impeached but wasn't because of MAGA. We've been here before. There's no place for hate anywhere. Karma, the Tao, Pantheon, Erinyes and God will prevail.
We had two attempts to do that here. Two impeachments that went nowhere thanks to cowards like McConnell. 91 felony charges across 4 criminal cases plus several civil cases, most made void by this new absolute immunity. Now, he got reelected with the help of the richest man on earth.

Trump never went to A&W for burgers because the alphabet confuses him. Trump never liked White Castle because he never understood chess. Sadly, Burger King was his third choice for burgers, because he was from Queens. Trump's second favorite burger was Jack in the Box, because Jack was short for his middle name. Trump liked McDonald's because he thought it was named after him. (and his mother was from Scotland.) In and Out (burgers) kind of parallels his presidential term though. parallels his relations with Stormy too. Trump's administration never maintained employment of more than Five Guys.
My wife makes a huge meal for xmas each year that has turkey and ham and all of the rest. We are a very traditional family and because of that we are happy and very successful.

What’s Myrrh, you ask? Myrrh is a fragrant resin derived from the sap of certain small, thorny trees in the Commiphora genus, native to northeastern Africa and the Arabian Peninsula.
Myrrh is part of the mummification process. The European Industrial Revolution was fueled and lubricated by marine mammal oil and crushed Egyptian mummies. 25% of locomotives in the American wild west were fueled by crushed mummies.
Christmas … Fristmas! It’s all a commercial nightmare for so many. As a non-Christian, pajamas, favorite food and enjoying the day is a great plan I always follow! Benefits: sanity, no debt, no crazy Trump relatives, deliciousness and more! Give yourself permission to do what is meaningful to you! After all … it might be worth realizing Jesus is not white, he wasn’t born on Dec 25 and he didn’t go into debt buying gifts!
I am a Christian, and honestly I enjoy the lead up to Christmas more than the day itself. Not really relevant to my religion, particularly. More the fact that lead up to Christmas to me means happy people in shops with merry music and more good energy in public in general and nice colourful lights. As opposed to Christmas day in my house which was always one of the worst days of the year with emotionally abusive parents who would convince me I ruined Christmas every year. Every Christmas Eve I hoped it would be nice and we could be a happy normal family, but no. We still had traditions, like always getting a cup full of cherries and chocolate in the morning, but overall it was tense and stressful. My nicest Christmas was when I was 18 last year. Stayed with my Oma, stayed in, watched some Christmassy movie, and just talked.
The modern North American version of Santa Claus was created by Coca-Cola in 1934. It was described as representing a new holiday for American consumerism. That's when Coca-Cola took the cocaine out of their products and substituted caffeine. I hope you get a chance to throw snow-balls.
I can do that every day of the week though. Nothing special about a pizza...but a vast xmas meal covering the table...turkey and ham...everything else...obviously way more yummy and festive.
I'm just getting irritated that the new ones are stealing our words and redefining them to mean the opposite. Quite irritating when they say things and they literally mean the opposite of the words I hear. 🤨 the young ones are doing this crap on purpose, I know it.
@@skystarlit3713 That's just how language works. The meanings of words changes over time based on how it is used. Common example, the word 'gay' used to be a synonym for 'happy,' or 'joyous,' but nowadays it's just a common term for homosexuals. We young'uns aren't doing it 'on purpose,' it just happens on its own.
@@Skijaramaz Yes language does naturally evolve over time. What is being described here is a whole generation trying to purposely change the meaning of words overnight, that is not natural evolution.
I've been over Christmas since that corporate takeover of it. Everyone has to buy stuff and receive stuff and then people feel bad if they can't and the cycle goes on

Here are a few basic U.S. measuring units converted to Metric measurement units: 1 Gallon is 3.79 Liters while 1 Liter is 0.26 Gallons. 1 Pound is 0.45 Kilograms while 1 Kilogram/1,000 Grams is 2.21 Pounds, & 1 Ounce is 28.35 Grams. 1 Mile is 1.61 Kilometers while 1 Kilometer is 0.62 Miles. 1 Inch is 2.54 Centimeters, 1 Foot/12 Inches is 30.48 Centimeters, & 1 Meter/100 Centimeters is 39.37 Inches. 0 Degrees Fahrenheit is -18 Degrees Celsius, 32 Degrees Fahrenheit is 0 Degrees Celsius, 72 Degrees Fahrenheit is 22 Degrees Celsius, 100 Degrees Fahrenheit is 38 Degrees Celsius, & 212 Degrees Fahrenheit is 100 Degrees Celsius.
It’s easy to learn the metric system. The way to do it is to switch your phone from imperial to metric measurements. Before you know it you’ll be thinking in Celsius and kilometers. You’re welcome.
For larger number if you know the Fibonacci sequence you know that it uses the Golden Ratio of 1.618 which is really close to 1.6. Thus you can go up and and down to convert Metric and Imperial. So if something is 13 km away it's 8 miles away, you just go down one number in the sequence.
@@jiblitin1520 You might be slightly missing the bigger picture when it comes to Christmas lol Gifts are just a tiny part of it. Friends and family come together, renew relationships, celebrate a prosperous year all while having a ton of good food and fun.
For the 1st year this year, the kids and I are having Chinese Takeout for Christmas Eve dinner (that’s when we celebrate) and we are donating the leg of lamb (our usual feed) to the food bank. When I floated the idea, I thought I would get some push-back but everyone is stoked for eating in front of the tv with our traditional Xmas movie (Die Hard… of course). No matter what everyone does, please have a wonderful time. Happy Holidays from New Zealand.
I had already planned on turkey burgers for christmas day. Christmas eve, tilapia pizza (usually have something seafood on christmas eve or day). Still having sweet potato on the side and a walnut - pecan mixed green salad.
Turkey burgers this year. Last few were seafood. For desert something different, cranberry vanilla ice cream. Soften vanilla ice cream, mix in can of cranberry sauce, refreeze.
I don’t do holiday dinner. My adult children come over the day after Christmas and I order pizza and we watch movies and play games. The perfect holiday dinner is just too much stress.
As one friend said unapologetically about not participating in the holiday meal tradition, "Nah, I don't wanna have to eat all that crap." It warmed my soul.
So this channel is going to be more about World News in the future? What a welcome change of pace. Glad to get it from somewhere now my TV is unplugged, and I'm no longer getting traditional news sources.
4:35 Lewis Cato's guitar is badass!!! I've never heard of a Fender Triplecaster (on the headstock) with a Bigsby, but it reminds me of the adventurous designs from the 60s, like those Italian manufacturers that made such awesome looking instruments I didn't care what they sounded like 🙂 I wanna have one of these things so I can just look at it!
Christmas traditions can change, especially regarding the meal. I'm Australian and 53 years old. When I was a child we clung to some UK based hot turkey dinner traditions. It was delicious but I never had to be in the kitchen in the height of summer. In the 45+ years since then we have gradually moved to a more seasonally appropriate type meal. Christmas ham served cold was first but, increasingly, cold seafood, especially prawns (shrimp, if you Americans must). It's so much better.
Canadians are not frustrated with Trudeau.... without help from the right wings constant dredging of him. A tactic they learned from you guys, America. Thanks for nothing.

It isn't "Sinterclaus", it's "Sinterklaas". Sinterklaas was the bishop who was born in Mira in Turkey. He moved to Spain where he, after the fall of Granada in 1492, freed a lot of Moors who were held as slaves during the Muslem rule that Spain was under until 1492. Out of gratitude some of them became his helpers in doing good deeds. As you may know (probably not) the Low Countries (modern day Northern France, Luxemburg, Belgium and the Netherlands) were under Spanish rule during the 16th century. The Spanish king Philip II, who was a Roman Catholic, didn't allow the people of the Low Countries to practice religious freedom. It was the time protestantism was emerging in the Low Countries. Besides denying them freedom he also started taxing the Low Countries heavily. So we revolted, just like you did more than 200 years later after the Boston Teaparty of 1773. We had a 80 year war of independence from 1568 until 1648. On july 26th 1581 we declared ourselves independent after our States-General (our National Assembly) signed the placard of abandonment. Over 200 years later Thomas Jefferson used this placcard as a template for your declaration of independence, copying large chunks of it. But I'm digressing. In the beginning of the 20th century the Sinterklaas tradition started in the Low Countries. Every year in november Sinterklaas and his helpers, de Zwarts Pieten (Black Petes), travel to the Low Countries in a steamboat to bring gifts for children on the eve of his birthday, december 5th. For whatever reason (probably also commercial, just like the Sinterklaas tradition) Sinterklaas became Santa Claus in the USA (no, not in Europe) and was miraculously connected to Christmas. For your information, the guy that comes from Lapland every Christmas is just called the Christmas Man in Europe. So we celebrate Sinterklaas on december 5th and Christmas on december 25th AND 26th.
We have been over the traditions for several years, nearly a decade, as traditions require cash. Three years ago, before my illness worsened, I crocheted all of our gifts. The next year even the cards were beyond our budget. For us now, its almost an Amish attitude, christmas is just the 25th day in the 12th month.

Trump's second favorite burger was Jack in the Box, because Jack was short for his middle name.
Trump liked McDonald's because he thought it was named after him.
(and his mother was from Scotland.)
In and Out (burgers) kind of parallels his presidential term though.
parallels his relations with Stormy too.
Trump's administration never maintained employment of more than Five Guys.

I can get pizza and hamburgers any day of the week. But I would never pass up home cooked turkey or ham dinner.
Turkey for me
Exactly. Why would I have the dinner I have any given Wednesday for Christmas? If I don’t do something different for once I’d drown in depression.
Spoken like someone who's not doing the cooking....
Exactly!!
My wife makes a huge meal for xmas each year that has turkey and ham and all of the rest. We are a very traditional family and because of that we are happy and very successful.

Steve you might want to consider moving to Canada & broadcasting there.
The old Euphanism:Those that fight & run away may live to fight another day applies.
It’s technically more of a proverb than a euphemism…
Why is it always Canada? I'm beginning to think Democrats are extremely racist towards Mexicans. You only wanna move to a town with more white people
"Euphanism"?!?!

"Who gives a f*k about Christmas?"- First lady Melania Trump
She gave us the "Blood Christmas" with the lines of red christmas trees.
Thank you for an almost tRumpless monologue.
What’s Myrrh, you ask?
Myrrh is a fragrant resin derived from the sap of certain small, thorny trees in the Commiphora genus, native to northeastern Africa and the Arabian Peninsula.
It’s wonderful
It's marvellous
And it smells like it, too.
It's awful nice
Myrrh is part of the mummification process. The European Industrial Revolution was fueled and lubricated by marine mammal oil and crushed Egyptian mummies. 25% of locomotives in the American wild west were fueled by crushed mummies.
Christmas … Fristmas! It’s all a commercial nightmare for so many.
As a non-Christian, pajamas, favorite food and enjoying the day is a great plan I always follow!

And he was born a Hebrew!
We buy stuff from the italian market and make pizza, for xmas day. Been doing it for years. I recommend it greatly.
Good idea!
I can do that every day of the week though. Nothing special about a pizza...but a vast xmas meal covering the table...turkey and ham...everything else...obviously way more yummy and festive.
America 's national bird is the middle finger.
As generations come slowly to an end, new generations come up with their own ideas of celebrating Christmas.
I'm just getting irritated that the new ones are stealing our words and redefining them to mean the opposite. Quite irritating when they say things and they literally mean the opposite of the words I hear. 🤨 the young ones are doing this crap on purpose, I know it.
The same is true with music, but I think we older people tend to act even more superior about our old ways.
@@skystarlit3713 that’s just the way things work, language changes over time naturally and culture. Elf on the shelf didn’t even exist till recently
@@Skijaramaz Yes language does naturally evolve over time. What is being described here is a whole generation trying to purposely change the meaning of words overnight, that is not natural evolution.
I've been over Christmas since that corporate takeover of it. Everyone has to buy stuff and receive stuff and then people feel bad if they can't and the cycle goes on
People still like Christmas, but they have had their fill already of the giant orange turkey since November 5th.
I think you mean January 6th, 2021.
Wooo!!! Merry Christmas!
60-hour work a week and no holidays off, never enough. I'm already over Christmas 😰.
I’m not putting up a tree or decorations. I’ve be on depression meds since 2010. Retail sucks the joy out of all Holidays but Christmas is the worst.😢
honestly we stopped putting up trees because we have cats and the cats decided the Christmas tree was always the best place to play... yeah we got tired of cleaning up everything they knocked over
You recall November yes? Clinical depression will be here for about 4 years
Have I told you lately that you guys ROCK!? 🇨🇦

Here in the UK the Guinness shortage is no joke! Luckily I'm off to Holland to spend it with my wife's family so hopefully it will be over by the time I return. Cheers all and Merry Christmas!!
Indeed yes, but those of us in the know will just switch to Murphy's or another local variant.
Christmas isn't special when it's two months long.
This. I hate how people start celebrating before Halloween these days
3...lol
Its better when its longer if you actually celebrate. Mine last even until the next year 🎄😊
More like 6 months long! They start in July here.
Yeah I don’t really start feeling terribly Christmassy until the second week of December.
After 53 years, if I can just stay out of the hospital and/or jail, it seems like a winner to me.

Here are a few basic U.S. measuring units converted to Metric measurement units:
1 Gallon is 3.79 Liters while 1 Liter is 0.26 Gallons.
Or, 1 gallon is 1 gallon and 1 liter is 1 liter. Oh, and 1 litre is 1 litre.
Gasoline 4.00/gal. and Red Bull energy drink $80.00 /gal. What's in that stuff?
It’s easy to learn the metric system. The way to do it is to switch your phone from imperial to metric measurements. Before you know it you’ll be thinking in Celsius and kilometers. You’re welcome.
@DaylightFactory Haha…Good point!! 👍
For larger number if you know the Fibonacci sequence you know that it uses the Golden Ratio of 1.618 which is really close to 1.6. Thus you can go up and and down to convert Metric and Imperial. So if something is 13 km away it's 8 miles away, you just go down one number in the sequence.

Christmas is how corporations get you to waste your money on billionaires.
"Tradition" is just peer pressure from beyond the grave. Be inventive, and come up with your own ways to celebrate! Have fun, and Happy Holidays!
I don't like the idea of Christmas. You shouldn't need an excuse to give something to someone. If you want to give something to someone just do it.
@@jiblitin1520 You might be slightly missing the bigger picture when it comes to Christmas lol Gifts are just a tiny part of it. Friends and family come together, renew relationships, celebrate a prosperous year all while having a ton of good food and fun.

What are you clapping for? This is CBS obeying in advance. It's not that he didn't want to talk about Trump, he couldn't.
Christmas burgers and Chinese takeout really sums up American tradition.
Sounds like a really good time to me! Man... no family, and a combo #2 with a smash burger on the side? merry whatevermas to ME!
And there's not a thing wrong with that! 🙂
Hear me out: combine the two.
Christmas chinese takeout burgers. A broccoli beef burger sounds pretty good right now.
I had already planned on turkey burgers for christmas day. Christmas eve, tilapia pizza (usually have something seafood on christmas eve or day). Still having sweet potato on the side and a walnut - pecan mixed green salad.
I hate being told what I need to do on the holiday's. Louis Cato sporting the Jake White Triplecaster.. Nice!
We haven't done the traditional meal in 4 years, so far we've done tacos and nachos instead, this year we're doing pizza casserole!
We had Christmas last Sunday and enjoyed enchiladas, rice, beans and guacamole!
Turkey burgers this year. Last few were seafood.
For desert something different, cranberry vanilla ice cream. Soften vanilla ice cream, mix in can of cranberry sauce, refreeze.
I'm atheist so Xmas is just a day off with gifts, 0 plans, and warm blankets and alcohol.
I am too, so I pick up an extra shift from someone who wants the day off and get OT. I quit the whole gift thing over 35 years ago... 😊

I don’t do holiday dinner. My adult children come over the day after Christmas and I order pizza and we watch movies and play games. The perfect holiday dinner is just too much stress.
I’m retired 74 and I’m a yes for all day jammies. Put on jeans to go to the store…sometimes.
Nice Triplecaster, Louis! Merry Xmas all.
As one friend said unapologetically about not participating in the holiday meal tradition, "Nah, I don't wanna have to eat all that crap." It warmed my soul.
Ah good! More for the rest of us.
It’s strange how Trump ruined the holidays since he first came to power. Nothing has been the same since.
Who gives a f about Christmas? -tRump.
If you want to know what they sounded like, check out Hound Dog Taylor!
Best joke of the year. @3:17 thank you mister cold bear.
Lol, finally the rest of the USA is joining me in the "perfect" Xmas of no traditions and all-day lounging.
My immediate family has all passed and my cousins are all conservatives, which leaves me pretty much left alone, except for good friends.
I love the "no more Trump BS" approach. There is a lot more to talk about in this world 👍🏼
Christmas traditions can change, especially regarding the meal.
I sang FROSTY THE SNOWMAN in Downtown Vegas tonight along with other Christmas carols and my original Christmas songs. My voice is deep and powerful like Tennessee Erney Fords!! Damned it's awesome, you have no idea!! 😅
That "taking pictures at gradation with an iPad" thing sounds suspiciously autobiograpical.
8:00 lumber, maple syrup, rappers named Snow...
I thought 'Snowmanning' was when you take the carrot, and... well, it's a different thing entirely.
