Not every blinking light in the sky is a drone. Many are manned aircraft. We have many airports in NJ/NY/CT. There’s misidentification all the time. Unless the drone is over restricted air space it’s not doing anything illegal. It is weird that Federal Govt doesn’t know the source of the drones but that separate issue as to whether the drone is a danger or a threat.

For further reference Langley Airforce Base was shut down last year due to "Drone" activity and fighters were relocated this seems to be escalating.
