The presentation was excellent! Really good camera views and especially liked the fact there was no background music so I could hear without distractions! Thank you, thank you!🙂
Thank you for this life saver tutorial. I decided to go ahead and buy a binder for my Janome DXL603 and it works really well; so pleased that I am now looking for things to bind!!
Thank you so much for this demonstration! I ordered my binder foot yesterday and am really excited to start making my own bias and using my binder foot! :)
The store bought bias tape actually gets put through the slots on the side. Going from the slot closet to the machine is for 1/4", then 5/16", 3/8", 7/16", and finally 1/2".
Thank you for your video. May bi suggest to use a lighter colored material for your demonstration and dark contrasting thread.. Older eyes cannot see that well
Thank you so much for information about sewing attachments when you are like me and have access to three machines you have to keep mental note how each one works Thank you for your share
Hi! I keep watching your video of this; it seems like it's the most straightforward! I have a question though... do I just cut strips and it will turn the raw edges over, or do I need to single fold and press it first? TIA!
I thought this looked familiar! On AliExpress I was about to buy this binding foot and I came to RUclips to see how to use it and they used this exact video to sell it!
I need to try this again. I wasn’t working for me at all and I’m desperate to have it work because I’m making a ton of masks. I’ve just been ironing and sewing it and it’s getting sooooo hard and dreadful.
Hola. No habló tú idioma Peró vi tu video como se coloca el bies con ese prensatelas. Tengo uno y no sé usarlo. Vi un video donde no lo recomiendan porque no sirve en curvas. Vi el tuyo y es fantástico. Saludos desde Mexico
Thanks so much for the video - I just started looking for a binder foot for my Janome MC4900QC for quilt bindings and came upon your video :) Will this foot work with quilt bindings without doing the double bias binding that you showed?
Hi Caroline, If you click on the link in the description of this RUclips video you will get to the complete write up of directions to use the Janome bias binder. Thanks for watching! ~Sara~
my wife is having difficulties using the binding foot using satin fabric bias, do u think she should cut a bit larger bias because the fabric is slippery. do u have any tips please using slippery fabric with the bias binding foot.. thanks
Hi there! thanks so much for this, it's so so interesting, you explained it perfectly and the video looks great. I've got a question, I guess it's not posible to use a differnt width for your bias tape, right? I'm thinking of getting one of those feet, but my machine is an Alfa, though I think it'll work as well for it since it's a snap on system. Thanks again!
oh no I got that foot with the plastic feeder that I can't make heads or toes of. I should get one of these. Thanks for telling me how to cut the fabric cheers for that
watch the video around 4:36, it shows what happens. The little attachment folds the bias under on both sides, you slip your fabric in between and like magic, everything is tucked in and where it's supposed to be.
This is so fab! I just found my little foot, and whilst I know how it works, I couldn't get it to! Lol I was trying to use a flat one and a half inch strip 😄
Hi, I cannot find the Creative Grids ruler you are using here anywhere - does it have a model number on it or name? Also, the same for your green cutting board. Let me know as soon as possible if you can - and thanks for the great video!
+btpuppy2 Here is the link to the Creative Grid website to help you find the rulers you are searching for: www.creativegridsusa.com They also have a list of stores in your area.
Thank you. I bought an old machine and I never went through all the parts. Can you tell me if the binder can be use with any brand ? I try to fix it on my janome but I can figure out how.
Depending on your machine you can still find these types of pressure feet for your machine. I have a vintage Kenmore high shank and found all the pressure feet for it, including one of these
Zut, zut ! J'ai préparer le biais et repassé mais je n'arrive pas à coudre le biais et le morceau de tissu ensemble pourtant j'ai le même pied de biche pour coudre le biais !
Do you know if there is that same presser foot, but to a greater extent, for example to make biases wider than an inch? Can this same presser foot be used on fabrics such as lycra? Or very elastic? Thank you, a response from you would help me a lot.
The presentation was excellent! Really good camera views and especially liked the fact there was no background music so I could hear without distractions! Thank you, thank you!🙂

Yes, you can use this foot for attaching binding to a towel.
do u sell the ruler?
Can this be used for a rolled / double fold hem? It was being advertised on Etsy for hemming and I didn’t want to buy by mistake
I would recommend a hemmer foot for rolled hemming.
From what I'm understanding, this cannot be used to bind a sandwiched quilt; is that correct?
how come you left the long edges of the fabric un turned, surely they will fray
She says they will not, but suggested using fray check on it.
I just want to say thank you, now my mother knows how does it work
Where did you get your cutting mat? Is it self-healing?

oh no I got that foot with the plastic feeder that I can't make heads or toes of. I should get one of these. Thanks for telling me how to cut the fabric cheers for that
Won't the edges of the bias binding fray if they are not folded under, or does this not happen with fabric cut on the bias?
watch the video around 4:36, it shows what happens. The little attachment folds the bias under on both sides, you slip your fabric in between and like magic, everything is tucked in and where it's supposed to be.

Did you need to single fold it first or did you just use a 1" with raw edges?
Make me to buy one. Great video
I'm wondering if this is a universal style foot. Will this fit my Husqvarna Viking 600?
I don't understand how the raw edge gets hemmed.
