Hello Rob, It's nice to see you on the scrap wood challenge project Mark hosted. I am happy you joined. You've built a good clamp rack out of plywood that's sturdy and useful. The clamps are now in a more streamlined holder. Congratulations. Thank you for showing in detail. See you. I wish you healthy and happy days. Big greetings. Best regards. Your friend Mehmet. (The additional wooden shelf brackets you made for the metal shelves and the storage shelf you made to the ceiling were also a nice idea) ....
Some neat and tidy clamp racks, made from "street ply"! And always love it when something is made from the "to burn" pile! Definitely what this challenge is about...good job! Peace out!
Hi Juliet, thanks very much! I'm glad I managed to rescue those rack thingys 'cos they were getting in my way hanging around but crappy as they are it felt wrong to actually burn them. Cheers ✌
Noice one, Rob. That's a lot of different clamps rehoused and secured up on the wall. And good that you saved the old pallet project from your burn pile, and brought it back into a lumber rack! 😁👍
cheers Suj - actually when I saw your video I got the idea to make this one - I had already filmed it a year ago but had forgotten about it. It's always a good idea to keep everything don't you think :)
Nice Rob! I like the pipe clamp one, I dont have a storage solution for mine yet, might borrow that idea. However, the winner for over-engineering is the bar clamp holder... love it! "Tidy!"
hehe that's my favourite as well - I love just hooking the top of the clamp over the steel rod and dropping it and seeing it fall unaided precisely into position. Cheers mate. #StayTidy 👍👍
Great project Rob ! nothing is scrap - rubbish and we can see that in your beautiful clamp rack you made! I know that beer gave that extra boost! Have a great Sunday my friend!👍☕
Hi Takis, you're right - nothing is rubbish! Storage space is the only problem -that's the only reason I throw away scraps usually. Thanks! You too - have a great day.
"Roadkill plywood" ha, love it! Awesome build all round, nothing like getting the gear organised and in its own home.👌🏽 Excellent entry for the #rubbishwood21 challenge. 👍🏽

Thanks mate - glad you saw something "useful" in the vid 🤙 - I'm just happy to have somewhere to put my feet now whenever I go in there. 🤣 Enjoyed your mud kitchen but forgot to add my comment - I have now though. cheers!
G’day Rob, firstly I’m jealous of all your hair you’ve got on the phone camera at the start but we won’t talk about that 🧐😣😜 great usage of materials otherwise going off to wastage mate 🍺🍻👍👍👍

Amazing work! That's a lot of clamp racks, but then again, that's a lot of clamps! 😅 Need to start building a few too, cause my OSB "rack" is about to collapse! 😅 Well done! 👏 👏
Thanks Luke! 👍 The other advantage is that there is always a place to put the clamps at the end of the day. Since building these and one more about three years ago I have never once failed to return them to their proper place. Very worthwhile! So .. get racking!!
Great project Rob ! I especially like those pallet wood racks for your pallet racks. Im gonna have to watch the video on how you made them as I also have pallet tracks in my garage and need somewhere to store my linear rails for my slab flattening jig. Cheers Mate !
thanks mate! I'm a big fan of pallet racks - I have three of them in my garage. One of them has a doorway cut in through the end as I built my home office around it and used it as part of the structure. ruclips.net/video/2u61F7BbDYQ/видео.html Also build these angular shelves into one of the frames - also in the office ruclips.net/video/yuWP_k_R0Dw/видео.html Cheers, Rob
@@TakamiWoodshop Cheers Rob, Ill check those videos out mate. Yea they are really handy. I know in the last few years here in Australia the pallet racks have to be certified now so a lot of warehouse are getting rid of the old ones. I got mine cheap on ebay and a mate of mine who owns a skip bin company gets a bunch that are thrown out. I was able to get some extra shelving beams from him. Cheers Mate.
I worked in a big warehouse for a while, I think there were 80,000 bays, and that's where I caught the bug for how useful they are. When I tried to buy more beams once from the NZ made manufacturer they wanted 600 bucks each, insane, so I just get em off our EBay equivalent here too, for pretty cheap.
Great clamp rack mate, loved your editing and I agree with Beer making things clearer! But also, we (Victorians) have just entered another lockdown which has thrown a spanner in the works for my entry, but you have inspired me to use one of my 2020 lockdown projects. So this has been incredibly influential, thanks mate!!
Thanks mate, agree with beer 🍺. I heard about the lockdown in Victoria, I was inspired by Suj to use old projects, he mentioned on insta that he was going to do so, otherwise I would've been out of the challenge. So you've got a bit of editing to do this weekend then! Good luck.👍🏻👍🏻
That is such a neat & tidy clamp set up Rob! I wish I suffered from having better ideas & perspectives after beer ! 🤡 Those pallet racks look an absolute treat too mate 👌
Thanks mate! Lol, I find that even one beer can have a profound impact in the workshop 😆 and two or more makes making the RUclips videos much easier as well.
@@TakamiWoodshop I'm hearing ya! There's defintely a sweet spot before it all immediately falls apart though 🤣 I remember being a pretty alright golfer..... & that was somewhere between 1.5\3 beers too 😄
