Get the best browser for Android TV / Google TV with this tutorial.
How can I install Chrome on Android TV / Google TV? You don't want to because it won't work well with the remote control. You must use a browser that's optimized for the TV experience and is compatible with Android TV / Google TV.
If you want to use Chrome on Android TV you will need to connect a mouse to your streaming device. Unfortunately, Chrome isn't coded properly to work with remote controls.
This tutorial will work on popular devices such as Chromecast with Google TV, NVIDIA SHIELD, TiVo Stream 4K, Onn Android TV Box, Mecool Android TV Box, and many more.

Until recently I was able to connect to the browser and RUclips simply by touching the button on my Nordmende remote control where there was the "browser" and "RUclips" button. Now the last one always goes when I press but when I touch browser it tells me function not available contact the service provider, but which provider? If I go to where I got the remote control and the Smart the first time, I doubt they will be able to understand, they will end up changing the remote control and I can no longer have those two functions that were already inserted as buttons at the bottom of the remote control. How do I solve it myself? I was able to see that my browser version is 2 something 00 but what does that mean? So it doesn't work when I press

Thank you very much. My spouse watches some online streaming sites that used to work well with TV Bro but lately they cannot play properly. Too many pop ups and can no longer enter full screen. Not to mention it didn't work well with remote. This one so far is excellent!

@@ashish5834 it works well to block ads on pages you visit. However, the app has some ads on home screen but they do not cause issues at all.
I'm buying a projector soon and have been looking for a streaming device that allows me to watch free movies/shows on sites only accessed via web browser, not on an app. I was going to opt for a mini pc but now I see all I need is a chromecast, no more subscriptions! Thanks so much for this video!

I agree, currently the best web browser for android tv is jio tv mainly because the adblocker and abundance of settings (especially the DNS setting, because in my country has a lot of censorship)...
bro i've installed all browser available and and its all sucks and slow. i thought it just the chromecast ram is lacking or my connections was slow then i tried the jiopages it go really smooth . i uninstalled all the other browser. thanks alot !

Some others have reported problems installing on NVIDIA. Try rebooting your device and make sure you are on latest update Shield Experience 9.1.1. Installed and works great on my Shield.
Troy, I have a question. This is not what you talking on today. I’m one of your subscribers. Need to know why when I used MX player that you have on your account, I can’t hear sound on Bee Tv. I open it up after I installed it to make sure I allowed it to work, but when I play movies in Bee tv, there is no sound. Help!

Hello, I've posted this a few times in comments. Once you reboot your SHIELD it will work fine.

Yes, I tested on my NVIDIA SHIELD and it works. I had to restart device after installing as it wasn't performing well but after I rebooted all was well.
So in simple terms I should get google tv instead of firestick?

Hi James, I tried sideloading it but it said it was not compatible. I suggest using Silk Browser on Fire TV devices. Works great.

Use the search icon on our Website, everything is there. Our channel has been shut down numerous times by RUclips.

Hi Ron, did you try the trick I showed in the video for opening the actual Play Store and searching that way. When I search through the Apps screen, it says it's not available but when I search through Google Play it works. See entire video as I show this.

No, I tried sideloading it to Fire TV and it didn't work. We suggest using Silk Browser instead. You can get that through Amazon App Store.
Freezes and shutdown on the Nvidia Shield.
Same happened to me as stated in the pinned comment above. Reboot device and it will work. Make sure you are on most recent Shield Experience as well. 9.1.1.

Yes it can. If not showing in Google Play, open Google Play Store by hitting mic button on remote and say, Open Google Play then search from there. I just installed it yesterday and still there.

@@troypoint Doesn'r work properly on my Shield either. Jio Pages freezes, causes my Shield to freeze and then the app crashes.

@@gstar7686 OK, I just tried this on my NVIDIA SHIELD with Shield Version 9.1.1. After installing the app, it didn't work very well and was lagging. I then rebooted my NVIDIA SHIELD and it now works as it should.

It must be Android TV/Google TV system, not a generic China box that is running stock Android. That type of OS is for phones and tablets and this app won't be available in that version of the app store.

My TV is an authentic TCL P635 4K Google TV
