How has your Android TV experience been like? 🤔
It's ok cuz I don't do much apart from watching RUclips or shows
it's so far very good
Google tv on my sony works really well
I mean the current processer is enough for running Netflix hotstar and RUclips and players like kodi and vlc this Android seems to be far better than the samsung Or other uis
Any suggestions to speed up LG TV OS
Finally someone is talking about shitty performance of Android TVs!
+1
Definitely
+1
Totally. Yeah
WebOS and others are even shittier
This is called quality content 👍
For Real Dude
And this is why we pay our internet bills for
Exactly my thoughts
Yes bro 🤐
That animation setting itself solves 50% of the lag. Incredible work bhai.
It took me a while to realise that these people don't make videos for views rather they make it for the people who really need it. Love your content guys. Thanks for making my life easy.
This video is a godsend for me. As someone who got a sony TV for 75k and expected a good software experience too, i was severely disappointed with the sluggish UI and annoying recommendations that refresh everytime and slow it down further. I'll try these tweaks and see how it goes
I don't think you can do anything about a heaby android interface and quad core a53
Yeah, the Sony tv with old mediatek processor and 1.5 gb ram 🤡 I too have it
Let us know if these work or not.
Same bro😅
Soney bravia name is big but in real time use it's sucks
Finally, beebom saves my TV🙂🙏🏼
He is real tech youtuber
Talk about every aspect of tech.
@@ujwal3934 sometimes perhaps... 😂😂😂
@@ujwal3934 exactly bro
@@blrj sometimes 💯
Absolutely agree 💯👍🏻
I did the same changes on my Sony Android TV and got to say it made a ton of difference. Thank you for posting such useful content.
I’m so excited about them, seeing them from 5 suscribers and now to this !!! This is what consistency and hardwork looks like
This is the Beebom, we desire for!
Beebom always delivers. Repair Costs Video was great, video on phones with/without 5G Bands was great too and now this. Topics always on point.
Thanks for this tweaks! Really helped in making my TV faster. It's really sad to see smart TV using very limited RAM and hardware.
Hoping this improves soons. Thanks once again Team Beebom :)
This was a much needed video, thanks Beebom 🙏
Exactly the video I want. I'm just trying to fix my tv. Seen the video and finally got everything to fix. Respect 🙏
Commendable work @Beebom you guys talk about the topics that should be talked and no one is working on them.
Beebom just love your content, the way you present it and the energy with which you present it, awesome man !
Commenting after a long time as you forced me to do so. Your videos are out of the box best. You pick topics that we don't even know that we needed so baf until we see your videos. Thanks for great work keep up the great content coming.
this is what i wanted in the last few days, cuz my tv has become so slow . and thanks for bringing awesome vids
Quality and actually useful Content as always
Thanks
Thank you, this really helped! I have two Xiaomi Mi-boxes and they were pretty ok. Then i bought a Mi-tv and was suprised how slow the ui was compared to the boxes. Following these steps made the tv decent and the boxes much snappier.
I was looking for this ! Thanks Beebom
We love Beebom for these kind of videos 😍
Quality of content is getting better and better!!!
Thanks beebom . The changes mentioned is extremely helpful.
been looking for this, i was sure there was something to improve, this video covers it every aspect, well done friend!
Worked perfectly for my Xiaomi Mi TV stick. Thanks!!!
Would love to see a similar video on Fire Stick, as lot of people use it.
I've an android tv but use a fire stick for Netflix and other apps that were not native on my tv.
These tips actually worked for me . Thanks a lot beebom.👍
My TV is not annoyingly slow anymore - thanks for the thorough explanation. Great video (not to long and stays focused on what i searched)
I own Motorola 40 inch TV and the experience is smooth and great so far. After the update there was a little slowness on startup but rest of it is doing great. Love the purchase at 18k 1.5 years back ❤️
These days Beebom feels like real Beebom from past. Making useful videos not biased ones. 😜👍
Hands down one of the most useful video in recent time that I have watched, following these steps my shitty Mi Tv stick feels much snappier now
Thanks mate...I was totally fed up with my sluggish 50inch Vu4K TV, and was about to spend 1L on a new TV...thanks to this video... now I can enjoy my old TV and I don't have to spend any of my hard earned money....what a life savior! Keep doing the good work ❤❤❤
😂😂😂the new TV will also have a low spec CPU. Just buy a Nvidia shield tv box and use that instead of the underpowered os built into your TV.
It really works. My TV just got faster and smoother.
Great work and thanks for tips.
I'd recommend not to change the animation scale until you've fully debloated so you can properly gague the level of optimization you've done. Also, the animation scale isn't going to keep it from stuttering from bad performance. Turning it off entirely can also cause issues depending upon the particular device.
Strongly agreed
How do you devloated android tv?
Truly a phenomenal and easy to follow video! Thank you so much for teaching how to simplify the Android TV experience and remove the constant advertising by uninstalling the Android TV updates
This actually made a huge difference in the speed and processing of selecting apps and streaming shows for my Philips TV
Uninstalling Android home updates did wonders to my Mi TV. Thanks guys, always delivering super useful content!
Hi I did it but it changed again how I can fix it ? 😢
@@lottoman1 let me know if you found a way to do it bro.
This dude is just awesome!
Awesome video beebom, I have followed all the steps shown in the video and my android TV is must faster now. Thank you 😊
This was very helpful. Amazing content from Beebom!
I agree, i have searched "how to boost" improve speed of tv.
I thought i am just imagining that tvs have poor specs, but after watching your video, i am assured, i am still sane :P
Congo Rahul sir
Congrats Rahul sir
@@aishakhatoon9279 Thanks!
@@glgsravan7176 Thanks... I'll show you guys what i get
Congratulations,, what did u win??
I have been using Samsung Crystal 4k Pro TV for past 1 year running Tizen OS. It performs much better than those Android TV. The interface is smooth and boots up instantly in about 5 seconds unlike Android TVs taking about a minute or more. The only downside I have found on Tizen OS is the limited app support, though most of the necessary apps are present.
Same
My android TV from 2016 still
Runs smooth with zero lags.
Same bro Samsung tizen os is way better than Android TV ui but the only disappoint of availability of third party app
Hey do you recieved any update in tv regarding the latest version of tizen os
How long have you been using the tv? And is picture quality good? I heard it's viewing angles are not good..
Wow, these were great suggestions. Worked great on my Nokia Android TV Box. And really like how clean FLauncher is and Button Mapper is also a solid recommendation. Thanks so much!
Thank you so much Team Beebom. I changed these settings on my parent's TV and it madw huge difference! ❤
Please more videos on Android TV. Loved this video.
I brought mi tv stick about 6-8 months ago and turned regular tv in Android tv and my experience has been bad it is slow and buggy. He's absolutely right about the bloatware it's crippled with bloatware after updating they added more bloatware after doing these steps tv is somewhat more responsive
Although I can't find few settings he mentioned in my fire tv,how to reduce animation?
@@yashveerm4079 fire tv doesn't run on Android. It has it's own operating system it's closed source and part of Amazon ecosystem. These tricks are for Android tvs
That was surprisingly in depth, I was just going to hate and tell people to buy an Android box, but unless it's a good one you'll still be stuck with the ads and it's still slow. Thanks a lot for this video!
Beebom always has some useful information ❤️
I was also fed up with my android tv and I installed apple tv. Man that just changed my perception and experience forever
Welcome to the Apple Ecosystem ;)
Isnt mi tv and some high end tvs are good?
Despite being expensive, Apple TV delivers in performance
Well u are comparing two different things.. one which is a complete tv and the other which just has tv in the name and costs similar to your tv.
@@manishgershom5637 spend 14-15k in Apple TV and you will know the worth of it. It makes high end tvs worth just with that operating system. Only Sony android and Samsung are decent in UI. Rest all other brands will lag one day.
I appreciate how there’s no ads, thanks.
Much needed video. Thanks BeeBom🙏🏻💪🏼
step 1 : should have android TV
I would suggest everyone to get a Amazon firestick during sale.
With just 2200 rupees(during sales) you can get a much faster an better looking TV interface. It's just so snappy that I hate using android tvs now lol
TRUE
Classic Beebom video, good content great delivery
Videos like these keep Beebom, Beebom 💌
Best tech youtuber in India period.
Can we remove patchwall permanently?
Not possible
I'm also suck with patchwall in mi TV's 😑😶
This one is the best. Love the work man!!!
I was searching for this.... Thank you beedom...!!
Is there any way to remove android os completely and just convert to normal tv?
Normal TVs do have an OS
Very helpful video, thanks alot Beebom.
Excellent tips! I'm in Canada and I'm going to be purchasing a TCL Android TV and will definitely try some of these tips.
Thanks, this is exactly what I was looking for. Good concise information.

One of those youtube videos that are fruitful.. my mi tv got sped up aft trying all recommendations, thanks a lot
*OMG Thank you very much for this video.!!!!!*
My TV had become so slow due to the new Android TV interface that even switching on the TV was a hastle. I applied all the settings you mentioned. And Viola the TV is SOOOO MUCH Faster.!!! 😍
*Thank you very much Beebom team* 😃😁
Brilliant video. My android tv isn’t necessarily slow but I’m glad I found this video as it just got way faster now.
the speed and amount of info straight to the point is superior in this video. You should be set as an example
Thankyou very very much. I just followed all these steps on my MI TV and the experience actually got much better and faster.
Did all of these and my god! Feels like a whole new TV!! Thank you so much!
This is the video that I didn't know I needed. Thanks!
Honestly,i tried all of these steps and it has actually made things much snappier on my Android TV....Thanks for such super informative and helpful video... Definitely, this is called a Quality Content.👏👏👏
In UK with a Philips 705 oled, those first 4 changes did a lot. Nice job mate!
Great stuff!!!
Some of these setting apply to your android phones too.
Not a big fan of flauncher but it's a nice alternative without any ads.
My experience has been sufficient when applying the following tweaks:
- animation settings: x0.5, x0.0, x0.5 in this order.
- disable auto updates and uninstall ATV launcher updates
- cap BG apps to x2
I didn't have any luck getting force GPU for hardware overlays so I left that off.
Running a skyworth 55" ATV 10 stock but upgraded to 11 currently.
I've also stripped all preinstalled apps:
- Bluetooth audio
- cast play
- multi media player
- e-manual
And installed:
- plex
- stremio
- MX player Pro
- OTT navigator (for IPTV)
- my family cinema
Seems to feel snappier and app open times are a fraction of a second faster. This is fast enough for me to notice the improvement so I'm happy for now.
Quality content. Perfect as it should be
This actually works!!! Thanks Beebom
Thanks a tonne bhai, I started hating my TV as it became slow but just now I implemented 80% of your suggested steps and if very very fast now.
much wanted video and ofcourse even our 20k tv performance improved a lot by tewaking that developer option settings. thanks a ton to u sir,god bless u sooo mucccchhh
Seriously most needed video and it helps alot
Thank you so much Beebom
i have to honest, strait to the point, no bs.. amazing tutorial, i wish more youtubers follow this path, subscribe always.
Thanks... With fast and smooth android phones these days I had almost forgotten how we used to tune our older android phones to keep them light and fast... And as a result my android TV was suffering poorly... With these tricks it's much more manageable now...🙂👍
I have a VU android TV 43 inch. It was dead slow. After implementing these changes and clearing additional app data and disabling the information sed apps the TV is sooo many ch faster. Thanks a lot for the immensely helpful video!
