The way these companies cut corners like not giving us new audio tracks is one of the reasons why I hold off upgrading on a lot of 4K titles until they go on sale, most notably on the recent Departed 4K. This also applies to the use of cheap paper box sets like the standard edition of The Godfather 4K Trilogy, which I refuse to pay over $40 on a Cyber Monday sale 2yrs ago. I still have the 1st Freddy Krueger DVD boxset released nearly 20yrs ago, which was also in those paper cases used by WB in the early DVD days but it was kinda cool looking😎
I agree with you Nick. I only buy these to review them but if it’s something i’m not going to review i’ll wait for a sale because your not getting your moneys worth. Especially if you compare it to what they used to give you for way less. That DVD release of Nightmare is still better the. the blu ray release as far as packaging goes lol
Great list! So many great heist movies I Absolutely love this sub genre. Definitely a go to sub genre whenever I'm bored and need a guaranteed entertainment movie.
Also the amount of movies that never got academy awards is insane!
And Goldeneye was my all time favourite game 😂
Goldeneye only didn’t make the list because I was so horrible at it lol. I’m really bad at first person shooters but loved them lol. Yeah you know what’s funny is when I was making the heist list, I didn’t realize how many great heist movies there are. That was tough lol. The Academy misses a lot of great movies. It really isn’t a perfect system lol

Another great heist film is 2006's Inside Man.
I love Inside man. It was on the list but was a tough cut. It’s 11 or 12 for me.
The one main thing that bothers me about ATTACK OF THE CLONES is Yoda needs a cane to help him walk and then in his fight with Count Dracula he starts fighting at lighting speed. When you watch the making of they show video making of footage of Lucas telling his cgi artists to speed up Yoda's moves.
There’s so many things about that movie that I hate loll. That was a moment I really hated too lol

lol Yoda was probably in Jedi Power Up Mode when he fought Dooku and Palatine, which may consume a lot of his vitality and accelerate his aging😅

The original one just missed the cut! It’s still great though and ends on actual cliffhanger.
Star Wars Episode 1 and 4 are my favorites. The way Anakin acted towards Obi Wan in the begining bothered me. Its like he was kind in the first movie and kind of cool then became a brat lol
He is very whiny but I don’t blame the actor because he is just a kid loll. But that’s not Anakin lol.
Elden Ring is fun. It's the only newer game I've played in awhile. I'm excited for and waiting GTA 6. Xbox 360 was one of my favorite consoles. I played it so much, many great games were on it
I’ll have to give Eldon Ring a try then. GTA 6 is the next game where i’ll fully commit again loll. I know it’s going to be great.

One thing I hate about WB now although understand there thinking. Not including a Blu Ray copy in their catalog titles. One of the reasons I love Shout/Scream Factory so much and with Shout/Scream Factory,not only do they include the Blu Ray but they also usually update/remastered the Blu Ray disk too.
There have been several WB catalog titles I would of gotten but there is no Blu Ray disk so it's worthless to me since I can't watch it. If I want that film, I have to hunt down an older release which can be hard sometimes since things are out of print. That's why I got the recent Walmart exclusive glow in the dark slipcover release of Twister when I pre-ordered Dune Part 2.I knew if WB put out a 4k release around the sequel coming out,it wouldn't have a Blu Ray disk and it doesn't.
This is in the U.S. only though. It seems for example, the U.K. releases of catalog titles are always 4K + Blu Ray combos. I could import since they are usually region free Blu Ray disks but the added cost of doing that is just too much.
I'm so happy that Disney did it right with the recent Cameron films and doing both 4K and Blu Ray disks and making them combo. WB probably wouldn't of even bothered releasing them on Blu Ray disks based on how they screwed Blu Ray users by not putting out the Rocky IV and VI director cuts on BD, even as an exclusive to the steelbooks.
A lot of the studios aren't doing 4K + Blu Ray combo packs anymore either even for new release films except as steelbooks. but you do have a little more option with new films on disk. They release them on both disk formats at least just not together unless again in the steelbook or another type of store exclusive.
I have the Nightmare Blu Ray set and i'm satisfied with that plus any new 4K releases will be 4K disk only anyway .If Shout/Scream Factory was doing it,that would be different.
See, the Lethal Weapons films is just depressing since I only have them on VHS.I so would get those but since it's WB,there will be no Blu Ray disks in a new release. If I want them,I have to hunt down the old Blu Ray release and i can't be bothered.
With the new Mad Max film coming out, I jumped on the Mad Max: High Octane Collection Blu Ray set from 2016 last year.I had Fury Road on Blu Ray but none of the other films. This set was a no brainer for me since it has the first three films which i didn't have and the Black and White cut of Fury Road which i also didn't have plus exclusive special features not included on later releases and the older legacy content. I figured since if WB puts out a new set later this year, it again will be 4K disk only.
That’s been my issue with and paramount even though stiles they will include the blu ray but it’d definitely overstock and not new printed disks. They haven’t adjusted their prices either they just took the blu rays away and charged more. Thankfully the boutique labels aren’t doing that.
I also don’t understand why you don’t just put the new scan out on blu ray too? With what 4K blu rays taking up a small part of the market you would think releasing a new scan of the blu ray would make some money too. It just feels like they want to put as little effort in as possible while still charging the same prices.

@@LetsTalkEntertainmentMedia It's the whole we pay more for less thing at play. You see it with everything now. A bag of chips costs twice as much and the bags are smaller with less food. They want to do things as cheap as possible and give as little as allowed and charge consumers the most possible.. I lucked out on the recent Sleepy Hollow release .I got that steel/digi book. I only got it because I didn't have it beyond VHS and it was the rare case now of Paramount including the older BD disk. They're like WB now too a lot of times with catalog releases. If it's a catalog title, I usually hope it goes to American boutique company now because depending on the studio, they may only do a 4K disk release only.
I've been debating on hunting down a copy of Beetlejuice since I don't have it. It's been released on Blu Ray and 4K + Blu Ray combo already and i suspect if WB does a new release ahead of the sequel, it will be the usual 4K disk only with new extras (I think the previous releases have added a couple of episodes of the cartoon).And I can get either releases as new copies at a cheap price. The only reason I'm holding off is to see if WB maybe puts out a Blu Ray two pack of both films when the sequel hits physical media.They'll probably only put a 4K disk two pack only I suspect.

The determining factor for me is: how much do I like the movie? Is it a favorite? If I opted for a steelbook for every 4K I boughta, I’d be even more broke than I already am.
@aaronclick6388 That plays a factor for me too. I always pick what’s best and financials are a big part too!
So that must be why no audio upgrades on 4ks because of cost saving. Maybe once we get a new president, we will be out of all this economy mess.
A new president isn’t going to change a thing loll. It’s a world issue. Until corporations have to answer for their actions then it will continue.
@@LetsTalkEntertainmentMedia Gas is the key to prices on everything. If deliveries have to pay a lot for gas they are going to raise their delivery charge. Then the company receiving the product has to push that on to the consumer. Then people now want raises because everything costs a lot so when the company gives the employees a raise, they have to raise their product cost. Just look at living under Trump policies and living under Biden policies. The facts are there.
On your triple day at the theater did you just pay once and theater jumped?
Unfortunately I did. I’m not proud of it. I was 13 years old. I wouldn’t do that today. When I go to double feathers, I pay for both.

I’m sure they did but ai do feel guilty now lol. Stick that day was one of my favorite ever lol.
It’s a Warner Brothers release so you can expect just a 4K disc in a white paper sleeve soon 😂

WB is the worst of these studios right now. They are just looking at the bottom line and are not worried about the consumer. They think that they’re getting one over on customers. We just need more people to call them out.

@Beetleejuicee That’s the thing that blows my mind. We all make less then the people who make the decisions of what to charge the consumer. It’s all about making more money and driving up the stock.
