    My mother happened to run in to Leonid in the 1960's when she worked at the famous Farmers Market in Los Angeles ( a kind of early indoor/ outdoor mall with all kinds of shops and restaurants), across the street from CBS Television City ( studios). She met a lot of big stars who were guesting on shows filmed at the studios who would walk across the street to lunch or shop. When she met Leonid, she couldn't remember his name so she said to him "Oh, I recognize you, you're the guy with the accent". To which Leonid replied "No madam, you only HEAR with an accent". 😄
    Such a talented actor.

    I never knew his name, but I thought he was a talented actor! He was great he an episode of HAVE GUN WILL TRAVEL!
