Chromoly cranks in clear coat are great, but these look sooo sick! I'd like to have a bike built only with clear parts, I mean everything! Frame, forks, bars, cranks. All the steel parts in clear, all the aluminum parts in natural. Black only for the rubber, minus the grips, those can be clear too! And the chain could be Shadow's gun metal supreme chain, or KMC Z510HX chain in copper. These would look awesome in a all-clear bike, to give that 'industrial' or maybe a steampunk look 🤣🤣 I've even seen clear cable guides, where you can see the inner steel tube.
I follow several channels that just build bikes (all kinds) No talking, just tight shots of stuff getting put together. Real satisfying asmr stuff. That being said I enjoy the how to, play by play, narration. I also enjoy snakebite’s simple, walk around, show and tell, maybe take it around the block, or give it a hop bar, videos.
I'm considering getting a bike, The whole process of upgrading reminds me of cars which i love working on. So if anything ima get one as soon as i can but make sure i do my research. Awesome content btw.
Nice cranks!! It's good to break down the video into separate parts on installation/instructions/narration, and another on riding/testing out the cranks on crank grinds. I'd go next for some sleeper pegs and testing those pegs in every possible ice pick and grind combo.
Great video! I prefer description, benefit and installation of upgraded part to be separate from videos of testing the parts. Maybe a quick ride to test the installation, but full riding/testing separate.
Bend the brake lever for more hand clearance. Or swap the cables and upgrade the gyro. Snafu makes cheap cables for dual cable set up and includes a London mod type cable stop adapter. Think for 2 v brake noodles an upper and lower astroglide dual cable set up would be like 34 dollars. 44 in Canada. And gets you a fairly decent upgrade brake wise cheaply, throw on clear pads and it goes further then 50 bucks on new calipers would. Other option is London mod. Jagwire linear housing taking up to 1.8mm inners 2 noodles and 2 1.5mm inner wires and an snafu upper. Be like 23 bucks for lowers 15 for uppers. Be a little smoother.
.. its almost normal for BMXers to swap out parts on the fly.. watching someone take off plastic pedals and instal metal pedals in a parking lot before hitting the trails was so common that buddy kept a pedal wrench and spare pedals in the trunk of his car.. everything is all allen keys now..
Dude pedals are still basically impossible to do with an Allen key unless you're a beast. I like what odyssey did with the jc pc pedals where the pedal flats are a 17mm. I usually have a spare 17 for wheel bolts and prying back wheels back for people that don't have chain tensioners.
The bike is a pile of crap and it’s cheaper to just buy a higher quality complete or build a bike if your just gunna replace everything or get a bike you can spend 500$ and get a bike that’s full chromoly frame bars cranks and double wall rims then only replace if you brake
Idk why but I can’t stand when he puts his hand in front of the camera evry time he has a cut I like the videos even if it’s just one big sales pitch still good just stop doing that evrytime get creative please
@@Brant_Moore I like the channel I just don’t k ow why but that one move bugs me , idk why but the channel is good and it has cool info that I think anyone that rides or is even interested in Bmx should know. , and don’t get me wrong I understand why your doing this video it’s more so the people watching can be involved and you might even give the bike away at the end or something so that’s cool
The spacer is totally unnecessary on that frame as the space where the bottom bracket goes is sleeved so can go no further. Adding a spacer will just end up with an annoying rattle that will just see you taking it all apart again to rectify.

9:43 Park tool need to send you out a BT-2 to tension the cable for you and make life easier for you Brant 👍🚲💨
I’m new to bmx, I just enjoy the way they look and ride. This is definitely a great video for beginners like myself. Thank you! 💪🏽
31:34 I think it needs a fit keyguard sprocket and some pegs for an upgrade next Brant 👍🚲💨
Congrats on the new space! I’d look into a wireless mic or some sound proofing along the walls to cut down on the echo. Good shit, Brant Moore!

That’s awesome! Can definitely see how you’d make the connection to cars.
I have a ton of videos that can help you in your research as well!
Love the video man and I would love to see you upgrade the sprocket and forks with a new headset ❤

Young buck bars
Is the chain alignement perfect ?
Nice set up, bruh. Looking good but isn't that blunt crank as much as that entire bike Lol

Wheels then sprocket then chain brant moore
I enjoy your channel, but that hair? lol... You're going to look back one day and say what was I thinking. I enjoy the content regardless.

Its not about the bearings going further in the bottom bracket, its to make sure the middle of the bearing doesn't get crushed upon tightening
