    Thanks for the information….great video….I admire Dynam…even though the builds are a pain….they make the most interesting planes that you can’t find anywhere else…hint hint….thanks again guys.

    Its a great looking plane. I think we have all had kits like this .. Y'know felt like no one tested the darn thing for fit before sending it out to sell. Nothing quite fits right and a lot of the build is a struggle. Oh yes been there . done that. Thanks for sharing Jon.

    I have a love/hate relationship with Dynam. I think everyone who has had the "pleasure" of owning one had that moment of clarity just before throwing tools across the room. I like the planes, I really do! But good gravy... the build.

      lol yes another thing you need is patience and knowing when to just put it away for a while and come back later.

    Great tips for any builder. I like Dynam because I get to tinker with whatever model it may be. Sometimes you just want to work on something, preferably a plane. AirHammer out

    👍👍😊 Nice to see this model up close.. And great tips !
    Not just for this model - no factory line is perfect - better to check everything than just trust and be sorry ..
    Dynam retracts were (?) especially notorious - I found (and others) - mostly, cause was sloppy applying of grease on drive shaft - and end microswitches were dirty - INOP until thorough cleaning and than very carefully re-applying very small amount of grease ..
    Sure, it is not expected from (every) buyer to perform "surgery" like this - but like said - better check and do what is needed than sorry ..
    Claiming a warranty is first option - but sometime it is more cumbersome than just fix (if you can..)

    • @DiscoverRC
      @DiscoverRC  3 года назад +1

      very true - I had a prop fly off an e-flite p-51 because I trusted it was tightened correctly from the factory. nope, not at all.

    Why is the rotation of the motors the same? Why not just reverse one motor and change the prop? Seems logical...yes?

  • @warbuzzard7167

    Awesome build commentary, Jon. I had a P-47 and it was a BEAR to get put together well. Their airframe designer is... brain-damaged? Head injury? I don't know. They LOOK and FLY really well, however. For what they are, they are over-priced.

    • @DiscoverRC

      it's a good thing they do fly well and look good - tho, if you catch this weeks video coming tomorrow you will see the nuttiest take off yet with this plane.

      @@shelbyseelbach9568 I'd suspect that there's no thrust angle on that airframe. Maybe I'm wrong. Not rocket-science to counterdict, though.

    • @shelbyseelbach9568
      @shelbyseelbach9568 3 года назад

      @@warbuzzard7167 Every airframe has a thrust angle, even if it's neutral. May be easy to "counterdict", but will require more than changing props and reversing ESC wires, which was my point. No one said it was rocket science. Making the changes as you indicated without taking other things into consideration can fix one problem but cause others, not giving you the desired result. That's all.

      @@DiscoverRC now much better, I have been looking for counter rotating props, I have only be able to find one set 10x7-3. And the are the thin bladed props instead of the wide belly props that are on war bird, but a pusher prop in that style of prop I believe would cure a bunch of the problem, I noticed Bobby K taking it off and he did not seem to have that problem, wonder if he has a magic mix.🤔🤔🤔. But next to the 1.5 mustang, it has a bad p factor for sure

    • @DiscoverRC
      @DiscoverRC  3 года назад

      @@boss2234 I've had one take-off where I've managed to track it straight. Otherwise, I correct the left pull, things look good and then suddenly it wants to wildly swing right before I can catch it. Single engine taildraggers are easy compared to this thing.
