Durafly® ™ once again set the standard with this high quality A-1 Skyraider which has enough scale detail and features to keep any warbird enthusiast happy. The 1100mm range offers the RC pilot a practical size model that can be easily transported and uses the ever popular 2200mAh 3s Lipoly pack, yet at the same time, the model is large enough to have presence and is able to tackle most airfields, not to mention a little wind, making it very practical.
As well as looking fantastic, this Skyraider is plug and fly, meaning very little assembly work is needed. The powerful outrunner motor, ESC, navigation lights, servoless Twist & Turn electric retracts, gear doors & servos are all pre-installed leaving you to glue on the tailfeathers and some scale detailing, bolt on the plug in wings and go flying!
We have flown this superb A-1 Skyraider extensively during testing and it will not disappoint, there is plenty of power for those really scale warbird aerobatics and the airframe is viceless with no hint of a tip stall. The pre-installed flap servos have a nice, slow operation to help prevent ballooning and the flaps themselves allow the approach speed to get down to a crawl without a hint of wingrock. There is no doubt, this is one fantastic looking warbird and it flies as easily as a low wing trainer!

Loved this video...I remember well when you did the maiden flight....you actually saluted me on that episode 18th September 3 or 4 years ago....I was in hospital with cancer at the time...and your videos really lifted my spirits then ....and now as I watch this I was smiling and so happy then suddenly I got tears 😢....I guess it brought back all the emotions of the past back...when all seemed lost....and two brothers on the other side of the world touched my heart......with their kindness....cheers mate....Dave in Australia 🇦🇺

Mate your videos are gold.....I watched them laying in hospital tied to machine s and with little hope....and your video's really pushed me to fight back and seek new medical procedures....which luckily worked so far....now I'm back flying....only basics now Tundra and timer evolution micro...but at least I'm flying again....

You should consider building a barn and then hang all 400+ birds, call it a RC museum or something, coffee shop, small snacks and Slovenian sausages etc. You build it and people will come. Hay you can even label video dates and your ratings on each model so that your patrons can go watch the video of the plane they are looking at. Salute.
Love the microphones. Its so much better! PROfessional!!! I remember this plane from before and thinking it was one of the best scale planes you have. I've always loved Skyraiders. You have 400 planes? Jesus Rob. LOL! I thought you were maybe selling some of them. I mean, 3 or 4 years ago when you did the tour of your hangar and it was packed solid. Where are you putting them?? So it sounds like the plane going back to the Durafly factory to scan (FMS has the original molds) and version two will be produced. Stuart must have spotted it in Robert's hanger when he visited them recently. The sound from the mics was perfect. Love this channel.
