With every recipe I know, the Swiss roll is rolled up (empty) as soon as it comes out of the oven - allowed to cool in a moist towel, then unrolled and filled... I really like your very simple method and great result!!!! Thank for sharing.
@@edo4867 I definitely wouldn't call it easier for everyone lol, every time go to measure anything from any video 90% of the time I have to search up the measurements as tsp/tbsp
@@Flaurealis It is easier to make an exact copy of the recipe. If someone tells me a cup of flour, I wonder if it is a cup full, a cup not so full, a cup slightly overrun. Also, different ingredients have very different densities, so if I need equal amounts of flour and water, I cannot measure a cup of flour and a cup of water as equal, because they are not the same. And if we talk about percentages, it is even worse. If I want to make a pizza with 50% water, I can't measure it like a cup of flour and a half cup of water. On the other hand, with grams everything is easier, more precise.
