Pulled some FAFO on some Murican Bully Boys
Blown away by Miu's police interview after watching 6 days of testimony in this tragic tale. Wow, he says he took "the kid's knife" and turned it on him, but the video clearly shows he pulled it out of his own pocket. He said they took his goggles and snorkle but video shows he dropped them when he approached the teens' tubes. Then he later says the teens had 2 knives, a big one and a littler one, but there was only his that I understand he threw away after the stabbing. Neither did the blonde girl (Maddison from the party across the river) strike him once let alone the twice he says here - it was the boys that struck him twice (at least). He says after he took the knife from the boys, he turned it around and stabbed the holder then just slashed freely (he gestures) BUT there were five (5) people stabbed - 1 stabbed the gut *sliced* all the way up to the top of the rib. Oh, Dear, I felt this was somewhat self defence but now that I hear these blatant lies ... yikes.
The video shows Both girls pushing in him and screaming in his face and waiving her phone in his face. You skipped that part.
And people lie out of fear almost everyone does so you can't judge someone that had never been in trouble with the police before and was just traumatized.....you have no idea what you would do in that situation....my God the teenagers lied under oath and that's ok with you
Mui never stopped lying. It was all one big lie. Looking at the comments of it's supporters on here blows me away. I am not from there and I can understand better now the division in the US and the support for MAGA. It is disgusting but it explains a whole lot.
You are allowed think that it is wrong to lie to police, but it is still legal. The illegal part only kicks in when you are in the court room and under oath.

100% guilty. The only one with a knife was Miu. He voluntarily admited he lied about the knife in the trial. He assaulted them first flipping them from the tube and started to punch and stabbed the girl and everyone first.
I would be devastated if my child died in this situation, but I would also be very upset at my child for acting like this and not taking up for the man and telling his/her friends to stop and leave him alone. This whole situation sucks, but the kids are to blame. Even tho he lied ,he is still innocent. Who hasn’t lied when they come in contact with a cop/detective? Everyone’s gets scared and tries to make up the best case scenario if they know they might get in trouble. You can see in his face and body it has taken a toll on him.
I have to agree with you, at first I wanted him to have to spend forever in prison, but then I seen more of what they were doing to him. I can't stand someone being ganged up on & teased and made fun of!
It is very sad & tragic for this man to be going through this. Not saying he has no fault in the death. Looking at his build in the video & in court today, wow. These interrogators should just not be allowed to question anyone involved in a death. It shouldn't be asked, it should be mandatory to have legal representation. Hurting someone, especially younger, is horrific for anyone. For killers that horror brings satisfaction, joy or other but to the average person, regardless of situation, it is beyond the worse feeling we can imagine. Ok, now back the video of his interrogation.
The jury will come back with a verdict of Guilty by supper time tonight.

lol what??? The guy claimed two of the kids threatened him with a knife, and that was a lie! No one but him had a knife. He then claimed that one of the kids pulled out a knife and that he twisted the guy's wrist and turned the knife against them. LMAO, Mr. John Wick over here. Regardless, that was a lie because he was the only one who had a knife. After doing what he did, he tried to get rid of the knife so the police wouldn't find it and put on a disguise so the police wouldn't find him. Then, when he got captured, he tried to pretend like he wasn't there.
Im curious, when you do self-defense, do you normally lie about what happened, hide the weapon that was used in "self defense, put on a disguise, and lie to the police and say that wasn't you?

Hopefully people notice that the female detective that interviewed him was lieing when she told him any legal representative wouldn't be available untill monday when she knew full well that legal representatives are on call 24/7.
She knows that no one would want to sit in jail untill Monday from saturday, So basically she coerced him into talking without legal representation.
I don't know US law so not sure how that will affect anything.
In the UK the trial would be thrown out on that alone.

I would love to find these 24/7 lawyers your talking about unfortunately law offices are open during normal business hours, so sure you can call your lawyer at 2 am on Saturday and they will promptly get back to you Monday morning.
@@rihannasforehead9586 In the US police and prosecutors have "qualified immunity" which they are talking too mean, and using, to place them above the law. All they ever get for punishment is suspension with pay - so they get paid vacations for breaking the law against citizens. Look up Maricopa County Arizona prosecutor, or police to see just ONE bad area. Look at videos on The Civil Rights Lawyer for more examples - and of course that will give you more video options on the right. In the United States right now a law abiding citizen has to be afraid of thugs, the police, and district attorney's/prosecutors. Unfortunately, a few years ago the media pushed a divisive slogan, "Defund the Police" rather than a productive idea that most law abiding citizens on all sides of the political spectrum can agree with - "End Qualified Immunity."

he is not innocent. He lied like everyone else did, and he may not be guilty of all charges, but he took a life, he stabbed a girl, punched another one, stabbed 3 other people, he should have never turned back when he walked away in the first place, especially if he was so scared,
The female cop is one of the most evil people i have ever seen resusing to admit that Nic the knife was surrounded and being attacked. She is obviously biased against my man
She also lied to him about him not being able to see a lawyer untill monday, therefor getting him to talk without legal representation.
In her position, she would have known that lawyers are available 24/7.
So I'm pretty sure the defence will be all over that.
She did not. She was very clear he could call one right then and that he could stop the questioning any time. He was asking first when he would be appointed a lawyer, which is a different question.

What a waste of my tax dollars. This trial is absurd on every level. Not surprising. This is Wisconsin after all.
The defendants lawyer's questions are sometimes good but its the way he asks that isn't doing it & then he gets a sustain from the judge. I'm sure he's trying & hopefully gets better at this & a quick learner (for Mui's sake), or lawyer should otherwise look for a new line of work. And, it sure is nice to see the lieutenant be patient & do her best.
How fast can a person walk forward in a moving river current? How much momentum can be generated? Is it being insinuated the victims participated in the seriousness of their wounds?

I haven’t heard the jailhouse phone call transcripts yet, but hopefully Miu understood that he was being recorded. From watching the Charlie Adelson trial, Florida prosecution obtained quite a bit of info from those recordings. Surely that is legal, if not commonplace?? 🤷♀️🤷♀️
The idea that this man went to the river that day with the intent on finding a group of drunk bullies to harass and attack him just to make it look like he was just defending himself is laughable. He's innocent. OBVIOUSLY!
It's interesting that one of the testifying cops in this trial shot and killed a man that he claimed was in self defense because he "feared for his life." The man was unarmed, naked, in the snow, there were two cops, with a car, they tazed and pepper sprayed the man - but THEY still feared for their life. Interesting double-standard we have here.

I'd like to know if you saw my message about the cop in this case that killed the man in self defense because "he feared for his life." Two cops tazed, pepper sprayed, and shot an unarmed naked man in the snow because THEY feared for their life. @@marilynrigsby6874 Just trying to say that the main question isn't whether he lied or not after it was over, it's whether he should be convicted of murder or not. That's what he's on trial for. They're not going to put him in jail just because he lied during the investigation. But if you think the lying or hiding is a main issue, be my guest. Have a good day!

Not sure who I am more irritated with… the State attorneys for just being smug and condescending or all the “witnesses” for making things up and not saying that the guy who started this is Jaquon or however his name is spelled. Also the other guy who opened his mouth and yelled to defendant “what are you doing over there?” Should have just minded their own business.

You should go and watch the actual video of the incident…the kids were floating down the river when he accused them of stealing a phone, and then provoked them into a fight. Yes the kids did push him into ankle deep water, but a push or even a fist fight if that HAD happened dose not warrant deadly force ever…

I have been to the Apple River many times since i was a high school kid. It has never been a "family river." It's always been dominated by drunk teenagers and young adults camping and tubing. I mean you can literally stop along the way and take shots like the kid said. Miu clearly had hatred for young people. This case remibds me of the old guy who sat in his basement and waited for some kids to break in and then murdered one teen. He went to prison and so will Miu.
Omg you are absolutely correct! I remember that awful story. That happened on thanksgiving day. They were both cousins I believe. Waited 12 WHOLE MINUTES for them to break in his home, then the sob called the police the next day! Just terrible.

Why doesn't the prosecution have a problem with the other witness that testified that he had a knife? Why doesn't he ask that man why he would possible have a knife while out on the river if it is SO strange to have a knife! Too much "guilt" is being assumed because he had a knife - which is both easily understandable but also not against the law. This is a sham and a shame.
@JH-pt6ih: Having a knife for the purpose and intent of "...cutting the rope on the tubes..." is acceptable behavior. And Mui's friends reported Mui always has a knife for various projects. But Mui's lies left a trail of deception. The video confirms, one knife at the event, not 2 as Mui stated in jailhouse interview.. Mui purposefully, knowingly and intentionally deverted ownership and responsibility of the weapon. The State confronted Mui regarding knife. 😮 Mui's responses became illogical and Mui's lies were obvious as the video frames showed truth. Notice the story given by Mui in jailhouse. The interviewer stated she was there to gather information. Interviewer did her job. She listened and asked basic questions. In the courtroom, the knife and the video were solid evidence of all Mui's lies.
Mui's behavior on video, proves Mui knew he had his knife...he patted his outter pocket. Mui pulled out the knife .....frightened??? ...but as i understand: Mui concealed his knife in his hand.proving intent to use vs "a threat to back-off." - When a policemen pulls out his gun, you see it pointed at you. Policemen then gives directions for individual to comply with the officier. Thus, deesculates individual/situation. Not a lawyer, but Heck, put a weapon in a face..
@@brendafainsbert4236 Everything you say after conceding that it is normal for someone to have the knife doesn't follow and it is not in any way comparable to a cop carrying a gun. If it is normal for people to have a tire iron in their car you can't claim it's odd for them to have a tire iron in their car if they use it in self defense. You have to have some serious evidence the person had the tire iron in their car for the INTENTION of hitting people and not because it is normal. The problem is that for some people it is just alien to carry a knife and they can't line that up with finding out some people carry knives. There was even another witness that was INVOLVED that had a knife. Bring a knife so you don't buy rope on site. Does it become suspicious if they bring their own ice, life jackets, cooler? It's absurd. I have an ax or hatchet in my pickup every season except for winter - so if I use one of them this summer in self defense it suddenly becomes suspicious that I put them in my pickup in the spring?

She testified off camera. We don’t get to see her testimony but the jury will.

So could they. They had WAY more opportunity MORE THAN ONCE to just move on themselves. They were drunk, high, and thought it would be funny to get someone beat up and beat down so they could put it on their social media accounts. Wisconsin and that whole "Midwest family values" is starting to look a lot like entitled thugs and meth-heads. Every other person there was in violation of multiple laws at the time of the incident - except for the defendant who has NO criminal record - not even speeding and parking tickets! And those drunk malevolent 17 year olds - old enough to be tried as adults - were going to get in their car and drive home and maybe take out a family on the way. At least the second group had a designated driver with them - the spoiled brat teens did not.

I'm confused on how he said in his interrogation video that he was in fear for his life, but then in the same sentence lied and said he took the knife from the boys, said he didn't have a knife, then said he did have one but he doesn't know where he left it (maybe either gave it to someone or put it in the truck) then said the knife he took from the boys, he doesn't remember where he put that after he stabbed them (thinking the police would never find it).
He also said he THOUGHT they were all still fighting after he left so he didn't want to witness it? LOL. Fighting who? Sir, who would they have been fighting after you, the stabber, had already left? The video contradicts this because as soon as he stabbed, the crowd dispersed/fell out to the ground in pain, and/or death. One person was being given CPR, one of the women in the group was scared to be in the float next to him after. The blood on his ear was obviously the victims.
I wish, and I'm sure he wishes now, that he had never went over to where the boys were. I'm sure he brought the knife back with him, thinking these kids think they're tough, pulling my pants down, calling me a pedo, I'll show them and it went WAY too far. My other observation from his video was that he appeared to be remorseful when told 4 in hospital and 1 dead. I don't think it was his intention to end a life, but he did bring a knife to some drunk kids being rude/disrespectful. What a nightmare for so many people now, including himself.

14 young adults against 1 man with a knife. He stabs 4 people. one person dies. 3 goes to the hospital and one of these three was almost gutted. I think words hurt less than a knife. He should have never approched these people, then it would not have been a big deal.

Well don't start physical confrontations that you need to finish with a knife and you should be good. Or at least don't continously lie to police In your interview.
