Should mention, If it was a Dexter, you'd only rarely need to do this job. I've done many of these jobs, but still haven't had a Dexter go bad....26 years and still going.
Just don't use china made parts and good double lip seals or you will doing the job again next year.Also make sure tub shaft has no groove our wear bearing sits on shaft or you will be doing it again.
