I am a female bassplayer and a big fan of Crass for more than 40 years, and I absolutely love this song. The lyrics are amazing, but that goes for most of the songs of this incredible band.
Seeing this made me realize how old and faded my Crass tattoo is. Maybe I should get it touched up. Such a great song, too bad they never played in the states.
Mikey Cynic haha. im watching this too for the first time. Ive also got an old ass crass tattoo on my backleg. I feel old...but not as old as steve ignorant :)
I can't say enough good here. I was fortunate enough to discover Crass and Dead Kennedys around the same time. These two bands more than any others opened my mind and really challenged me to look at the world differently. Steve Ignorant is the ultimate punk rock moniker, and I'm amazed to see he's still got the chops to do this. Just blown away. thank you so much for sharing this!
Discovered Crass when I was 14 or 15, around 1984ish, almost 40 years ago, and they're still fucking awesome. Be exactly what you want to be, do what you want to do, I am me and he is he but you're the only you!
Steve is truly a god still preforming well into his old age when I first discovered crass I was about maybe 13 It frightened me the subject matter but it was that fear that made me love crass and Steve Ignorant I still have yet to find crass LP for now I’m enjoying all there stuff on RUclips and Apple Music long love punk
JANER64---Thanks for the Crass live in Dublin! Now I feel like I've seen them live, but not like 82 or 83. I can live with that though. I live in CA and I used to have a flyer in my collection that had Crass headlining, then GBH, and maybe then Battalion of Saints or something. The U.S. wouldn't let Crass in to play because of "Anarchist" views and what have you. I was poised to go, too bad. Cheers.
The big rumor on a Golden Voice flyer around 83 was CRASS was coming that summer. Didn't happen but at least Steve is still at it. I grew up in O.C. so yep I wanted to see them too.
@@dirtydave2691 hEY dirty fucking Dave(like Philthy Phil Taylor or something RI GHT? hEY dude, you are EXACTLY correct about that sitEEation. One hour ago, PST, rebuttal prominent maybe? Cheers,

A lot of folk like Subhumans are still doing their thing , as relevant now as ever but I agree, I totally agree.

Ha ha ha! Yep, Min Stokes, that was a feature of early Crass! Much as I loved them, this was something that has fortunately been forgotten!
