I found it funny that the last stand by Mr. X's minions wrecked you! I like the mix-up of names given to the basic enemies, although it's amusing to see a Signal in a green jacket named "Y.Signal" - I felt it was a missed opportunity to not use more of the unused robot and kickboxer names... I think I only saw Peacock in the stage 8 elevator (there's also Owl and Shrike, and there's Nitrogen, Fluorine and Chlorine for the robots). By the way, that 'hidden 1-up' you picked up in Vehelits' lair was actually you scoring 350,000 points.
At first I was concerned with the enemies not having full HP... then I understood... it really is necessary for the balance (or best attempt thereof) XD
@@Anthopants I got my first megadrive in Dec 91 for xmas along with SOR1, been a fan ever since however didn't play it for years until I saw a trailer for SOR4. I'm again a total addict. Have manage all levels S apart from last level. It's the fat guys get me everytime. Love your channel, love your frustrations. Would be nice to see you do some retro SOR4 as I've not played much with these yet. X From UK
@@Anthopants Hahaha, I play it usually alone. In the 90's on Sega. Then 2010's using emulator on smart phone. Recently on switch I'm playing SOR4 ... but nothing beats SOR2 hahaha My favourite Character is Max too, ... I love slapping people to death & sliding my way to the boss hahaha Cheers mate, enjoy

Imma be really upset when DLC comes out and I won't be able to change the colors of my clothing with SOR2&3 skate because if it's only available for the updated characters only that would be a bad business move because in SORR you can change the color of your clothing but anyway I really hope Mania plus is not a joke along with the DLC but I am hoping for the best
9 enemies on screen instead of 5. Around 2x the enemy spawns. Enemies can move faster. Removed extra items like money and weapons. Takes me a 9 life start and continues to beat, which means it's impossibly difficult :)
Not sure what you're asking so I'm going to assume. SoR2 is like playing chess, you have to sacrifice pieces to win. There's only a handful of people who can beat this hack :)

The first build gave barely any points, so you couldn't gain lives. I got game over after beating X to the swarm of guys. I was mad :)

There are a lot of Mods that use final fight characters and levels though, often mixed with Streets of Rage characters and levels. Mostly for PC.
Wow. The second X sees the lift hit the top floor, he just sends Shiva at you to try to get it over with. XD

I realized there wasn't a 1-up there during my Axel run when I went looking for it but it wasn't there :)
Mania: no death is really hard.
Mania Plus: no _continue_ is really hard.
I haven't done a no continue. Now I feel bad about myself :)

There's two things coming out: DLC and Update. The Update is free, I think it includes Mania+, it might also include clothing. Not sure :)
