- Bojidara Kouzmanova is the soloist performing Pablo Sarasates Zigeunerweisen with the Vienna Philharmonic Women´s Orchestra conducted by Izabella Shareyko.
The concert was given at Ronacher Etablissement, one of the finest theaters in the City of Vienna.

I saw Bojidara this winter in a concert in Bulgaria..she was amazing as ever..she played variety of reperoire...she is really tallented and beautiful :)

From personal experience I would say highly possible - not that I have actually broke my fingers playing it, but I have been left my unable to use my left hand for a good few days after bending it the wrong way! Absolutely fantastic rendition, really captures the emotion of the piece, quite faultless.

Beautiful and outstanding - am at loss for superlatives for the soloist and the orchestra. Always preferred a female hand on an instrument and this is another demonstration why.

This was *wonderful*---the Conductor should've let Kouzmanova have the absolute "last word" on her final draw of the bow at the end of the Allegro, but other than that, truly, a joy to watch: All of these ladies are simply fantastic ! ! ! Thank you for posting!

This is by far my favorite performance of Zigeunerweisen. Not really sure why. Just preference. :-)
Sarasate is GREAT...
some people may think that she has vibrato problems or whatever, but i think anyone who can play that piece (well) is amazing. the applause should have been much, much louder.
A decent performance. I personally think that there are better ones out there, but that's a matter of opinion. Anyway, besides all that this is a geat piece of music. I have to admit that this is the only piece I know from Sarasate....yet. But I fell in love with it the first time I heard it. Great composition. One of the best violin pieces:)
