Side note, my last video at Bolton valley went completely under the radar. If you haven't seen that here's the link! ruclips.net/video/m4p2A8foKn8/видео.html
I thought Phil was just joking when he said nose bonk coming from the side. Makes it look easy, but for anyone that hasn't been, I promise you that's a pretty intimidating drop. Phil been crushing it this summer!!
Another amazing video! I love the POV, you’re style and flow is fun to watch! Watching you follow the two riders at the end and the grom boosting those tables raised the stoke too! It’s truly a blessing to live in Vermont and have all these trail networks right out your door steps! Cheers man and keep the content coming!
I love the first feature. Everyone else - hey this wood take off is awesome! Phil - hey look some terrible jank I have to bunny hop then land into a bunny hop so I can nose bonk a rock that would kill 99% of other riders. Sweet let's try it!
I LOVE Vermont. Had my numbers matched up on the Mega Millions a couple weeks ago I would've already been in Vermont. I had a beautiful 240 acre spot in Stowe all picked out. Sadly I didn't win. But seriously, Vermont is a special place with so many things to do. A perfect place for the outdoorsman
LOL I do the same thing, and what's funny is I'm legitimately surprised when I lost, like I think I had a good chance 😂🤣 but yeah, had my place in Wyoming picked out and Gravity Logic on speed dial to build my private bike park!!
Another awesome vid man. It always amazes me at the amount of skill and how friendly you are on the trail. You are one heck of a representative for MTB man.
I'm definitely try to be approachable, though sometime I need me time to zone out for a bit. As an introvert and not most socially adept person, Bike parks often get overwhelming so I try to find a quiet spot to recover. I've met a lot of too cool for life people and that attitude has always rubbed me the wrong way.
Hey Phil! Love the vids, I’m the kid that towed Haley down Gronk a few years ago. And I was up at Killington the same weekend that you were! Again love the vets keep up the great work!
I go back and forth between Thunder, Killington and Thunder. I think Thunder would be the best if they had a bit more variety (drops, wooden features, etc).
i feel killington is one of the best places to get comfy jumping. you run down blue magic 5 or 6 times and you should be a good at jumping or got the jist of it. i love killington. My favorite place to ride in new england.
Yeah Blue magic is literally the same 2 different style jumps repeating all the way the bottom. It's a great trail to get up to speed on your jumping skills.
Assuming this was filmed 8/5, I'm surprised I didn't run into you. As a Killington regular, it's awesome to see you ride trails I actually have memorized. Good inspiration!
I love when you make videos of Killington because soon its gonna be my first bike park im going too, so its relieaving to see you ride these trails to know what to expect. Keep it up phil love the vids ❤
That was crazy. Now I have to find my heart somewhere. Great video Phil, as always, but I think this video had something special! I should have taken a break at some point 'cause I could barely breath, that was intense!!
hey phill (or anyone else that has this problem) I used to have it but I went and bought some foam insulation tubes from local hardware store only like $5.00 and if you cut some, hollow the inside and snip one side then you can put them on the cable, tape it up and slide it down into the frame. I did this over two years ago and still works great and its very light!
It certainly is beautiful up there Phil. I’ll never be able to ride like you Phil but I can when I watch your videos! Between you and Seth I’d have to give you the edge as my favorite!!
Agreed with Jumpstart. Blue and Black Magic are fun but it gets repetitive. Jumpstart has some variety and bigger jumps. IMO it's the second best blue flow trail on the East Coast next to Gronk at Thunder.
I'm a beginner downhiller but I've been riding XC and new england tech since the full rigid 26er days. I've done a few days at highland on a 29er hardtail and its HARD, cats paw is way harder than they said it would be. Killington looks like a way more chill mountain compared to highland. I need to get out there.
I have a Scott Spark similar to that "XC bike" you saw. The geometry of the standard (non-RC) version is actually closer to a regular trail bike, only with shorter travel. It works similar to that Evil you used to ride a few years ago.
I think a video with Phil and Matt Jones would be sweet. They both like to find extra side lines on every trail. Just my thought. Great videos Phil, keep up the good work.
Yeah, one of these days. Most of the stuff I've seen from Arkansas looks pretty cool given the terrain, but it's not as appealing as other places near me. Eventually though.
@@SkillsWithPhil Yea it rained the first day but other than that it was amazing, but thanks to this video i know what trails to hit when i go back up there lol

You’re so great man! I hope I can do what you’re doing there. I’m a new in enduro/dh track. One of my problem is on the pallet drop. On ramp I don’t have a problem but on drop for me it’s different. It won’t throw you like ramp. I wish you can share some technique and how to conquer fear. One of my fear is the air time that’s why I don’t take the high ramp and drop pallet.
Watching your videos really helps me learn to ride and I love riding creatively like you but yo Phil, you ever gonna get out to the Seth’sbikehacks park? You could probably gap something ain’t no one see before!
Eventually. What he did was really awesome, and I'll definitely check it out, but our riding season is much shorter up north, so i like to take advantage of that while I can
