yes security was really tight! They made everyone stay in their seats, you couldn’t stand at the barricade and there was tape outlining the floor seat showing how far you could step out

The ones with awful crowd control are the ones that force everyone to stand like sardines inside a pit-like setting with minimal security directly inside the pit. That's why I never go to festivals or events that are SRO. Risk of fights, fainting, and being touched in the wrong way. From what I see, everyone has seats and all seats are spaced out appropriately. And I did see that the portion that was sold as SROs in the Cowboys Stadium have security directly inside it rather than just along the front so it made for a safe viewing experience.

@@kiaram8688Screw that. If I pay to go to a show and you tell me to stay in my seat, I'm about to become a security concern. I been going to rock shows for 20 years and they get rowdy. We do what we want, dance where we want, smoke what we want and no one gets hurt. Y'all don't need security, you need to grow up.

as a kpop stan who has a heavy hatred for ticketmaster, I never once thought that the fan verification was actually something that verified you as a person. I always assumed and approached it as a lottery system. I get multiple friends and family to apply as well and hope for the best. I think I assumed people outside of kpop also saw it that way. There’s no way ticketmaster doesn’t prioritize scalpers. And they’ve got platinum pricing too. There’s so many people who have accidentally bought platinum tickets

Swifties were just so surprised because the Rep Tour was most definitely fan verified, you could earn higher places in line by completing TS related activities. They had slow ticketing, where verified fans were assigned to time slots through out the day and you could leisurely browse and pick which seats you wanted and you could check out without messages saying someone else got your tickets first. I had Lover Fest tickets and I think if you had Rep tickets was the verified fan process for that show. I don't remember much about the Lover Fest ticket buying process but I know I wasn't traumatized like I was after the Eras Tour Ticketmaster fiasco.

We got pretty far in the process before pulling out (as I had been begging us to do), it is a flat out logistical nightmare. Honestly, this was my first and probably last TS concert (because $$$) and I really think that if she releases a tour video you will get to see so much more of the show than many of us did. I would say the only thing the video won't capture effectively is the sheer magnitude of the crown and the LED bracelet effects. I was in the nosebleeds, so I missed a lot, but even people up closer experienced a lot of view obstruction that is inevitable in a live show.
idk, people kept telling me "there's no bad seats at a TS concert" but I have to disagree. I think when the venue is that large its impossible to make sure everyone sees everything. I will be very happy to watch the tour video.
Ultimately I'm grateful I had the opportunity to go with but the cost of not just the tickets, but also travel, hotel and alllll the walking. I dont think I will ever subject myself to that again. But then again, Im not in my 20s anymore so... concerts are harder to begin with LOL

I hated everyone so close to me and I hated how tiny the artists were on stage. Then there was Rock In Rio, which was Entirely Transmitted on TV by a cable channel dedicated to music. Every artist on all days of the festival. I stayed up until 3a.m. to watch the artists that I was most excited for, and then I could go straight. To. My. Bed. I was in my couch and if I wanted to go to the bathroom or get some food I could just DO IT. Still listening to the music, even, if I wanted to.

I have so much experience buying concert tickets from various kpop concerts. My guess as to why your ticket wasn't VIP, but everyone around you was, was because you may have gotten a "platinum" ticket. It's not vip, it's TMs dynamically priced ticket where they just make the ticket stupidly over priced cause they can. Artists have to tell TM that they don't want dynamically priced for it to not be an option.

I wanted to wait to watch this until after I went to my show. It was a great show. I was at the July 7th show which was as Taylor put it the release party for Speak Now TV which as most people have put it has been the best show so far with all the extras she did and the acoustic songs she performed. She performed 2 songs in her new gown which was still gorgeous in addition to the other things she did for that night. I also hope that you got to see the haunted performance I know she already did it at an earlier show.

Applaud all that can handle that much people energy, and pay an enormous amount of money. Taylor's the best in just about every way I can think of, but for me it's just too many people. Great job on this vlog, and so glad to hear you really had a good time.

That donut place missed the mark by not having sparkly purple jelly in the middle. 😂

I don’t know that verified was random. I was kicked out TWICE while trying to originally buy tickets and didn’t get any before they sold out, I was on my computer ALL DAY. A week or so later I got an email from Taylor’s team giving me another chance to buy tickets saying they see I received a boost and wasn’t able to buy tickets. They gave different price groupings to choose from (not seats to choose). My sister and I decided to just go for the highest price range 300-550. And the email was clear this was just a MAYBE you’ll get tickets.
We got fourth row, end of the catwalk, floor seats for $550 a piece on opening night in Arizona. They were not “vip” with the lanyard. I saw her freaking face looking at my face. Maybe the first part of verification was messed up in it not being screened correctly but there isn’t a doubt in my mind the ONLY reason I scored great seats at a great price was because Taylor (her team) cares about true fans seeing her show and paid attention to boosts and past concert/merch purchases.

I got the verified fan for Seattle and it was a gong show. Once I actually got in after the reschedule, everything was gone. And even if something showed up, by the time I clicked it, it was gone.

Very interesting to hear about your seating experience! My seats are VIP in the section exact opposite from yours in Houston, so I’m glad to see your view and hear about what other people were like there

I'm a Speak Now lover as well, so I was also hoping she would play Enchanted, Haunted & The Story of Us. But I think maybe the legal stuff only got settled after the tour started. Lastly, I'm glad you enjoyed the show but not the walking after, lol.

The piano is a keyboard placed into a decorated shell. She did for reputation and 1989. Pianos have extremely sensitive tuning mechanisms to the point where, if you move it once, from one place to another, you have to wait a few days before getting it tuned as the change in temp, humidity, air pollutants, anything really can have a massive affect on the strings. Touring with an actual piano would be impossible.

For the belt detail during Folklore, I think that was an outfit oopsie. The one she wore night one in AZ definitely completely matched her dress
