I visited Mexico City in February and on fourth day, hotel ran out of water. Mexico City has a serious water shortage. Food was delicious. Just rambling, but it was so pollutated, you can’t even see the street signs (except Polanco). It’s all covered in dust. Regardless, I had a blast!

we keep hearing about that. we never personally experienced it, but it seems to be a major issue and a concern. especially in poorer areas

It was a matter of time…..no foreigners last in the city……it´s too much for you guys….. great decision to try PV now. Good luck

nah, as we mentioned, if this was a time before Louie or later, we'd probably be fine. CDMX is an amazing city. Landy comes from a larger city, and I lived they for 5 years, but I do agree PV will be great.

Thanks for the info and congrats on your new place! Since I plan to move to cdmx this year I’ll have to see how the pollution is in Coyoacan area. But the first earthquakes I ever felt were in September 2022 in Puerto Vallarta! Bed rocking back and forth at night lol. They had 4 within a week. Minor damage to a few hotels. Epicenter was not close but still felt strongly. Be sure to check and clean the AC units - mold is the issue in PV due to humidity so hopefully won’t bother Louie!

Yeah, that earthquarke in pv is from colima....Pollution in Coyoacan area is more or less similar to other parts, the volcano in Puebla caused the pollution even worse this year....

I love Mexico City, but want to move for similar reasons, always sick with cough or sinus, traffic is bad but worse during raining season, and earthquakes are too unpredictable - there's always that fear of building coming down like 2017

yeah, I think CDMX is good for short term stay. Daily life can be stressful sometimes due to those facts.

I heard that there are a lot of chemtrails in the skies above Puerto Vallarta. I hope that's not true. Stay alert, and best of luck to your lovely family!

@@Loomps38 I have friends all over Mexico, and the ones in PV tell me that they constantly see chemtrails in the sky. Apparently, it's becoming a problem in Mazatlan and the Baja peninusula as well.
