      I didn’t see that coming, but, I watched their Real Estate videos. I wish the can do same rental videos from everywhere they go. Cindy, the did a video about the different neighborhood in Queretaro in conjunction with Liz Mundo. I think this is their niche.

    @Louie...I believe I saw cigarettes on the patio table?
    What can you say about the smoking policies in most long-term rentals?
    I want to assume the 95% that do not specifically prohibit smoking are OK with it?
    There's almost no mention...thank you for any insight you (or others) may offer.

    If you live away from the tourist area, you can get that old Mexico feel in PV. But you can go to the touristy areas for fun whenever you like. There's so much to do there. PV is awesome for all ages and a great place raise children. It's got everything...natural beauty, culture and easy flights to the US & Canada. Mexico City is nice to visit but it's not for everyone. Ignore the judgemental comments. Do whatever feels right to you. I would choose to live in PV over Mexico City any day, though! I would love to live there! Congrats on your move!

      @valm.5243 Thank you for your kind encouragement! we look forward to our time here. People who give judgmental comments are basing it on their experience here. Obviously there are many long time citizens and residents who would disagree, like yourself. Thanks for watching and stay tuned!

    I have temp residency and will move to Mexico later this year. Have only been to PV so far and I do love it but too dang hot for me. I was there for month of October 2021 and it was 96 degrees every single day. I am now planning to start in Mexico City, Coyoacan neighborhood. I’m curious why you didn’t explain why you decided to leave CDMX? Hope to hear in a future video.

    My wife and I spent 2 months in CDMX to see if it was a good fit for us to live as a retirement destination. Even though CDMX was great for the weather and food options we just could not get past the language barrier and culture differences. Next month we will be slow traveling Asia for 10 months to find our new retirement home. Life is an adventure and we plan to live the rest of it as content and happy as possible wherever that may be.

    • @Wilfredos_

    • @dreamlifeinMexico
      @dreamlifeinMexico  6 месяцев назад +1

      @Robmar40 That is awesome! Asia is another great area to look into. We've thought about it ourselves as the cost of living is even better, but with my family and business over here, those flights back are expensive and not an easy trek. Best of luck on your adventure!

    I was 20 when I first visited Mexico, mainly Acapulco on my own dime. I traveled the world and all 50 USA states. I left the USA at 79 in 2021 for Queretaro because I was tired of heavily blocking my doors and windows and sleeping with the final solution. It is not safe anywhere, but you must stay Alert, and be ready to TCB. Mexico is less expensive than the USA, and I have been coming for over 62 years. I was raised to help honest none beggars and not begging scammers, and never take a penny from anyone.
    RIP everyone everywhere. Happy I was raised to be financially responsible, and never needed sick Go Fund Me or any of the donation scams.
    Flattery is food for fools, and you will reap what you sow. Never marry, shack or have babies. I did the latter, and it never works out. THINK. USA IS dying.
    Happiness is not using drugs, living a celibate life, and keeping demons out of your home. Do not live with anyone. Shacling, Marriage, and babies will end your life sooner. A word to the wise is sufficient.
