Sandi, what I love about your videos is that your honest, compassionate and alot of times funny ! For years I have laughed, learned and cried with you. Your stories never get old or repetitive to me. Living on a farm/ ranch is never easy, and to those who say it is has never made a living of it. Your honest portrayal is appreciated and loved. You are what a true hero is to young girls and women. My favorite are the lambs… they are so precious. You and your family, though not perfect, are PERFECT examples to us all, wether we live on a farm or not. Thank you for all your content and for just being you 💗 🐑 💗

I see the same attributes & devotion in you with your lambs. I see the way you mourn when they are sick or die. I see all the work you do to improve their lives. You are very nurturing. I hope you will have a few sweet moments during this birthing/lambing period. You certainly work towards that goal. 🥰
As a former 3 lb 28 or 29 wk premie, thanks for your care and devotion. I know nicu nurses often have a high turnover rate because of how emotionally draining the job can be, but those of us who make it certainly appreciate the care. I agree about Sandi. It's hard to watch her suffer and be unable to comfort her personality. I hope she remembers we're all here for her cheering her on and sending strength for the bad days.

@@Gayle.McConnaughey all 4 from the preg tox momma were dead.. heartbreaking..but she hasn't eaten properly for 4 days so probably not come into milk for them anyway.. so sad
What challenges you face: The weather, cracked connector water pipe, flooding and ruined warm bedding in finishing barn, preg tox, stillbirths, accidental mutilation of a newborn lamb, deaths, births, the daily routine and all the extras. You persevere. You love and encourage the ewes and new bottle babies. You have a superpower! It is courage! Pat yourself on the back, Sandi. Well done in difficult circumstances.
I feel your pain. Last year's calving started out by losing my first calf then finding out 4 months later he was one of twins. Almost lost the cow too and that would have broken me
Wendy Perrins, Australia. Sandi you are so amazing and a credit to all women around the world. You are showing all of us the ups and downs of running a farming business. No matter how hard things get on your farm or how many walls you face in a day you just have to keep going and climb over to the other side. I know sometimes people are ignorant on how hard it is and send you terrible comments but please always know that there are a lot of us out here that understand and are with you all the way. Amazing hard working women like you show the world that no matter what is thrown at you, you will always put the other person or animal first every time. We love you and appreciate that you share your life with us even the hard days. It’s easy to only share the good days but I love that you are strong enough to show us the other side of your business. The way the ewe leans into you during her treatment and shuts her eyes. Sandi, you love your sheep so much. It's a tough job some days. Thank you for showing us all sides of farming. ❤️❤️❤️🐑🐑🐑
You are so incredibly strong, Sandi! I can hear the tears you hold back, and I see you power through and keep going no matter what. You are an amazing example of resilience, and I'm so happy I have found your channel. You show the good and the bad and even harder: you show yourself. We all have moments we want to curl up in a ball and give up, and sometimes we do! But the strongest get back up and keep on going, knowing there is happiness down the road... The kind that will make it all worth it in the end. Much love from Canada 🩵
I'll keep repeating this in hopes that Sandi will eventually see it. You can be saved from these water disasters in barns, by installing smart shutoff valves. They keep track of normal water flow and shut off the main supply if a pipe bursts and it senses abnormal flow. They aren't cheap, but neither is the wasted labour and bedding.
Hugs to Sandi - talk about a horrible cluster of random events!! You are amazing dealing with barn chaos today with every bit or skill, knowledge and sheer grit! Sending you warm happy thoughts and hopes that this quickly turns around
You crack me up! When problems arise you dread it, hate it and even cry about it but you do something about it. You don't just whine and wait for someone else to take care of it. You figure it out. You do the work. And I admire you immensely for that. Every mother with a daughter should teach her to be just like you. It's okay to be sad. It's okay to be frustrated but you do something about it and do not give up. Yes! Thank you for being a role model not just for girls but for all women young and old.
Susan you said it wonderfully! That's is true strength, just to keep going, one foot after another, to deal with the problem, especially when others are depending on you. I have so much admiration and respect for Sandi.
I love how, when a mechanical etc. problem arrives, you don't call for Mark, but you tackle and solve it unless it takes more brute strength than you have or is REALLY bad. This 86 year old city kid just adores all "our" problems and delights.
I have to agree, this was a rough one Sandi! The thing I love about you the most is, you never give up!!! You treat your animals as if they are all your personal pets! You have the BIGGEST heart in all of Canada!!! I'm so glad there was a Happy ending with those 2 adorable little lambs!!! Keep your head up, things are going to get better!!! Stay blessed Sandi!!! Love you guys so very much!!! ❤️🤗🥰🙏🏻
Hi Sandi, I just heard a good friend has died- she was 95 and had a great life- and my neighbor has a few months. So, I had to turn on your channel because you always cheer me up! Thank you for being you!! :)
Gentle, I feel badly you have lost a friend and are about to lose another. I am in my 6th decade and so many of my friends & acquaintances (many older than I) have passed. This happens and I miss them. I am sure you miss yours. I do have the memories and eventually I work through grief. I then can smile at those memories; I am glad I have them. I wish you well.
Same with me, my best friend's mother just passed away. It somehow makes it better to see you deal with life, love, loss and heartbreak day by day. Please keep on just being you, I wish you (and us) lots of healthy lambs, greetings from Germany
I’m so sorry about the little lamb who’s mom was too aggressive with her cleaning. I pray that God will give you peace and strength to deal with these hard times. I pray the rest of lambing will bring you joy!
Dear Sandi, we are literally praying for you and all the ewes who are due. A disappointing start, but don’t give up. So many more to come, hoping all are healthy and no more preg tox. Your compassion for all your animals is tremendous. Down south if you in Ohio, cheering you on. God speed
I'm so sorry, Sandi. Nature can throw some awful (and ugly) things our way sometimes! Working with horses, I have had days where I have stolen into the horse trailer and had a heck of a good cry. Hopefully, you gave yourself permission to do something similar. It helps a bit. To see the love you put into each new life is heartwarming, no matter the outcome. Things will get better and you have learned so very much over the years I have watched you, that if there is a chance a lamb can be saved, they have their best chance with you. Sending a big hug your way.
There is nothing more annoying than completing a large task that takes hours to do, then have to repeat the entire process again the next day because of poorly manufactured plastic parts malfunctioning. I really feel for you Sandi.😢💝 Best layed plans, shot to he!! 😝😢
Sandi I have been enjoying your vlogs for some time now. You are part of the team that got me through the worst of covid. What a tough talented lady you are. Your compassion for your lambs is abundant and so beautiful. I hurt for your losses, I hurt for your sheep, and celebrate with you on your wins. It is lovely and encouraging to watch a successful businesswoman, resilient farmer, emergency vet, plumber and all that you are every day. You portray the reality of what a true Canadian farmer can be. I hope other farmers look to you for a strong example to emulate. All the best from a Nova Scotia viewer.
I never comment. You likely won’t see this. I cried, not only for the little lamb but for you as well. For your having to do the necessary thing, for your kind genuine soul, for the momma lamb and for all is us who have come to know and love you through this journey on your channel. Hugs
Sending love and encouragement! When it rains, it pours. And yet you still continue to show us it all and we LOVE you for that. Just remember to take care yourself too.
Sandi -- recently started watching. Please consider a couple of thoughts. First, water recirculator system. Run a return line back to a large cistern or better yet, a small water heater. Keep the heater around 80 degrees and set the recirculator on a timer so that every hour it comes on for about ten minutes. If using it to a cistern, about 30 minutes every hour or even running continuously. You'll still need the heat tape at the water spots. Water recirculation is a second line of defense after the line insulation that you are using. You would only need to run your circulator during the hard freeze months. Second thought -- looks like you have some sort of biological in your water line. May consider a filtration system. It will help your plumbing last longer. After lambing this year, we have a flock of 71. Much respect for the volume you do there on your farm. Keep on keeping on.
Hi Sandy, I've been watching your videos for a couple of years now and I continue to watch you for your honesty and your heart. I just want to thank you for always being so willing to show us the good, the bad and the ugly. Know that in the good times and the bad ones that your community loves you a lot! Wishing you, the family and all your animals the best ~Mads
Wow that was a lot of water. Ive been watching for a while and often I’m in awe of your skills, your patience, your care and your honesty. Even with set backs your learning and growth is seen and I’m so pleased for you. I really wish you all the best for this lambing season. ❤
Kenzie is your little cheerleader. She is saying go mom you're doing a great job. We get to see little victories .Sandi your love for you animals shines through.❤️🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑
Sandi, it’s your unwavering positivity. You say it with a smile. On a rough day as a vet tech I’d go home and cry my way through a bottle of wine. Some days just suck. But you wear them well.
Sandi you’re doing amazing. You’re on top of your preg tox ewes making sure that the ewe and lamb are healthy and happy, you’re making sure that mammas are having babies with the utmost care and you’re looking out for your flock. Yes there are bumps in the road but speed bumps are only meant to slow us down and make us aware of our surroundings. You inspire me everyday to do what I love even though I’m disabled and can’t do much. You’re and inspiration to women and young girls that anything is possible. This lambing season is going to be amazing just you watch !!!!!!
Sandi Brock you are a steely-eyed missile woman and don’t let anyone tell you any different. Even in the face of this difficult lambing you are still teaching us all how to tackle the good with the bad, the dry with the wet, and life’s unexpected sorrows with kindness, perseverance and practicality. Thank you for never giving up. Don’t lose that smile!
Sometimes you manage the impossible because you can and sometimes you manage the impossible because you must - it seems to me, you do both with a kind heart and a gentle spirit. I hope you catch a break and all turns for the better ❤
I cried with you today. Bless your heart for being so soft and kind. For knowing what to do for these beautiful moms and babies. It says so much about you as an animal lover when you can see the effect these babies have on you. Thank you for bringing us along.❤
They're like, "Mom, do you need our help? We're here for you and the sheep." I always love seeing the sheep going over to the dogs to get ear and nose grooming. They're bonding with the flock too and I love it.
Attention, Sandy Brock.. Tim from Ontario Canada… if you have a black magic marker with you.. and you are taking out the lambs.. you can always mark 1,2,3,4… in order they come out, and then on the other side of the lamb you could always mark the time that it comes out for when you do records… just suggestions
I'm so sorry it's a rough time. It's totally worse because we can see how much you care for your animals. You are a beautiful lady and a damn good farmer. Sending love and hugs..❤️🤗
I love watching lambing. I don't know how you do it!! Losing a lamb has got to be so hard on you. You work so hard to keep all the sheep healthy and happy. What a good shepherd you are!! You need to take a day for yourself every now and again, just to rest and regroup. Your audience admires you and all you do for your babies!!!
Hugs!! You can do this Sandy. You clearly care so deeply about these animals. It's bound to hurt your heart every time one has a hard time or doesn't make it. That makes you human, and a very good one at that.
Hi Sandi, I don't know if you received the photo but Inspired by your videos for the past five years, I visited a sheep farm in Maryland craving the bleating. In this flock there was a ewe who had a grave accident and more than half her leg was torn off. Two years later, thanks to her shepherdess, Emily, she is having her second little one and is prolifically managing motherhood with a limp. Thank you for showing us the best and the worse. It makes me appreciate the sunshine in life and manage the everything else!!
Oh Sandy I am so sorry for the rough start. You handled it really well I think. And it’s okay to cry. And it’s definitely okay to turn off the cameras. You and your sheep come first. ♥️
I'm sure everyone can agree how hard you really have to work to keep this business going especially on days like this. Love what you do, keep doing it :)
Oh Sandi, I'm so sorry, this must be tremendously difficult. Take the time you need to hold space for your frustration, your sadness, your heart. I'm sending you lots of love. Hang in there ❤️ 🐑
Sandi, you are my kind of woman! I'm a grandma of three kiddos. I've had countless rescue dogs & cats. I've been a sheep and goat shepardess for years and have not yet experienced a momma of any species causing that much damage to its offspring. Hang in there my dear girl. You are the BEST!
Sandi: So sorry that happened to the lamb. I admire your work and care for your sheep and it is hard to put an animal down. I look forward to your posts that show you have all the rest of the babies being okay!
My heart breaks for you Sandi. Such a rough start to lambing. I like to support your channel and I always feel guilty when I hit the like button as I certainly don’t like the troubles you have to face. I hope the rest of this lambing session goes much better. ❤
The stressful hard days, make the great days so much more meaningful! You are definitely a strong woman and you can tell that every single life on your farm has meaning!❤
Wow what a day you’ve had! I can’t even begin to imagine how difficult and stressful that was. You are one strong woman and I admire your ability to just keep going and deal with each problem as best you can. Don’t give up and know your internet family is supporting you in any way we can.
I’m so sorry for you and the momma’s who are lambing ❤ I see so much love and strength through you. You have also taught me that it’s ok to bend but never break during overwhelming times. You are such a badass Sandi and I mean that In a good way.
You are just such an amazing woman!!! The love you show to each and everyone of your sheep is truly just such a joy to watch. I will be praying that what has happened at the start of this lambing is all now going to be in the past and the rest will go smoothly and each new baby will bring you much needed happiness❤️❤️❤️
OHH, that looks like a 3-hander job, pushing the uterus back into the pelvic cavity 🙄 Would filling a spray bottle w/soapy solution make it easier to clean the uterus? I have such enormous respect for your medical care & nursing expertise, & most of all your infinite compassion for your flock! 💕💕
Miss Sandi, I'm one of your many lurkers, but I wanted to say we love you. We know you love your sheep and your life. You're honest, kind, and loving. We love you and the farm. Don't ever change.
YOU ARE MY HERO!!!!! The way you just keep going. I would have been on the floor sobbing for not only the dead lambs but to have that water crisis! I just want to hug you, I can't so I'm sending them to you. Once again, YOU ARE MY HERO
Hi Sandi, I'm new subscriber. Everytime I see you get upset, frustrated, sad, etc. I just wanna hug you for straight hours. I admire how you find positivity in all the madness. Have been binge watching all of your videos and I have to preach it, you're the best vlogger that made more invested on. Hope the rest of lambing will turn out better if not okay. Lambs are always adorable, can't stop oogle on em. 💙
Sending you hugs Sandi, what a difficult start to lambing. We are cheering you on and hoping lambs are alive. I hope your preg-tox mama gets better. Praying for her and you.
I know you have hard times and stress, but you sharing your life and animals is truly my stress relief. Hope this is a great lambing season. Better days are coming!
I love how your two woofers are sat watching you help birth the lambs. So cute. Stay strong and know you’re an amazing lady and can get through the tough times. Xxx
“What doesn’t break us, makes us stronger”. It can only get better from here Sandi, I’m so sorry for the bad start of lambing. You’re a very strong woman, and that’s why you’re such an inspiration to women all over the world ❤
Just something I was curious about... When things go really bad, do you have any kind of backup to help you and Carissa out? It seems like such a hard job for only the two of y'all to do, to then add on emergencies ontop of it! I don't know how y'all do it. Much love, y'all are so strong.
My heart is with you, you are such an inspiration. Thank you for taking the time to edit and post these videos even in the middle of an extremely challenging time. I have never stepped foot on a farm, though I find the industry fascinating, but watching you share so openly both your successes and challenges and with such genuine passion and vulnerability is inspiring and makes me strive to do better in my own endeavors. Not sure what made RUclips think I would find sheep farming fascinating all those years ago but I am very thankful it did.
A little helpful info, given with love and respect. The 'T' junction leak you mentioned, if it's not going all the way together, my mechanic father taught me to always heat the hose ends up, he used a blow-torch, to soften them so you could push the connection on better.❤
Oh my. This is a very rough start but on the bright side, you do have some adorable lambs at the end of the day. Praying that the bad “stuff” is behind you. 😢😊
Sandi, I was so moved by this episode of life on your farm. I called my husband afterwards and he let me tell him all about it. You are an amazing shepherd, mother and wife. David and I will be offering up evening prayers for you and the family (sheep 🐑, dogs🐶 and humans) tonight.
My heart goes out to you, that seemed like a horrendous day. It takes an amazing amount of strength to not get you down. And to carry on with your day. I hope that the rest of the lambing goes better.
Everyone out there that thinks that farming animals is inhumane need to watch your videos Sandi. You give them so much love and tenderness.....your heart is made of gold. I don't know where you find the inner strength to handle all the difficulties and heartbreaks you do!
Blessings to you, Sandi, as you continue to provide such compassionate, professional support and care to your ewes and lambs. My sincere condolences to the losses you have had to endure these past few days.

Oh my goodness! The problems you have to deal with. These lambies are in SUCH GOOD HANDS! What a blessing!
Hang in there Sandi. The lambs born are beautiful. You got this. Just breathe. I’m with ya
You're amazing Sandi! These lambs couldn't ask for a better mom than you!
Sending you love Sandi. We are here for the good, bad and ugly. Thank you for sharing your life with us ❤
Oh, Sandi, what a rough day, I am so sorry. I'm glad at least you got a couple healthy lambs so it wasn't completely awful. You got this.
Relief in their eyes as you help them!❤
Hi Sandy, I've been watching your videos for a couple of years now and I continue to watch you for your honesty and your heart.
Oh, Sandi, I'm so sorry for all the issues you're having!! You're doing an amazing job of handling it all. We are here rooting for you. Big hugs!!
I'm so sorry it's been such a rough start, I know how much you care. Hang in there, it will get better. Those 2 little brown lambs are adorable.
My heart goes out to you, Sandi. This has been a rough week.
Wonderfully said!
I cried with you today. Bless your heart for being so soft and kind. For knowing what to do for these beautiful moms and babies. It says so much about you as an animal lover when you can see the effect these babies have on you. Thank you for bringing us along.❤
I loved Lucy and Kinsie sitting and watching you through the fence like focused spectators.
They're like, "Mom, do you need our help? We're here for you and the sheep."
I always love seeing the sheep going over to the dogs to get ear and nose grooming.
My Grandma always said that "a bad start makes for a good ending." Keep that in mind, Sweet Lady. You are an inspiration to many.
It always amazes me at how capable you are. You are a true inspiration, even on the bad days.
Oh Sandy I am so sorry for the rough start. You handled it really well I think. And it’s okay to cry. And it’s definitely okay to turn off the cameras. You and your sheep come first. ♥️
Sandi you are a fantastic person. You do anything and everything in your powers as a farmer for your animals. Those lambs are so cute.
Oh Sandi, what a sweet wonderful heart you have. I'm sorry it was such a rough start. Heartbreaking day for you.
I’m so sorry is hard breaking see all this babies dying, so such great mama
I'm sure everyone can agree how hard you really have to work to keep this business going especially on days like this. Love what you do, keep doing it :)
There is nothing wrong to break down and cry, you are great how you deal and how you care for them, it does show
So sorry that your season got off to a rough start. Let's hope the worst is behind you now! Thank you for your passion & dedication to these animals.
I am always impressed at how handy you are.
Oh Sandi, I'm so sorry, this must be tremendously difficult. Take the time you need to hold space for your frustration, your sadness, your heart. I'm sending you lots of love. Hang in there ❤️ 🐑
Your patience and obvious love for the lambs is heartening!
That little brown lamb that was born just melts my heart. I can't wait to keep watching it grow. Looking forward to more lambs being born.
So sorry for the rough start to this spring lambing. I hope and pray that the rest of lambing goes much better.
Stay strong, we're here for you.
Remember Sandi what doesn't kill us makes us stronger 💪...the rest of lambing will be a breeze!!! You got this 👍. Xoxo 🐑🐑🐑💞
I really hope that now that preg-tox mama has the quints out, she’ll finally be able to start to recover. ❤ here’s hoping.
Very cute other lambs.
Miss Sandi, I'm one of your many lurkers, but I wanted to say we love you. We know you love your sheep and your life. You're honest, kind, and loving. We love you and the farm. Don't ever change.
I commend you for all you do. It's so gratifying and heartbreaking at the same time.
You never have to apologize to us. We are right there with you. Sending lots of love and support ❤️ 💗
Our hearts are with you Sandi. I’ve literally felt every bit of pain with you. You’ve got this xx
I know you have hard times and stress, but you sharing your life and animals is truly my stress relief. Hope this is a great lambing season. Better days are coming!
Oh Sandi - what a rough start you are having, it has to get better!
She got up to see her dog friend. He’s so proud to see her and her him his tail hasn’t stopped.❤️❤️❤️
Oh no, it's such a stressful morning for you! Sending positive thoughts and much love for you to handle all this! God bless you Sandy!❤️🙏🙏🙏🙏
Sorry for such a rough start. Praying things just go up and up from here.
I never want these videos to end. Even when they're sad :(
My heart is with you, you are such an inspiration.
Wow!! 😢praying for you and the lambs!!!! Hope tomorrow is a better day.!!!
A rough start just means it will get better from here on out. Hugs to you and those darling babies.
Kinsey was with you every step of the way, a very special Dog
So sorry for all your troubles and stress. Praying the rest of lambing and year go great for you and your family.
