Hilarious video! Just recently bought a MY17 Vogue Autobiography. It's the 3.0 and with a light tune to 300hp and a hike in torque has made it a great SUV. Took it to the ring last week, perfect and 35mpg too. Keep up the good work!

I agree with Tony, I'd have a Sport too and with the higher powered 3.0 Diesel. It's a newer engine and nearly the same power and torque as the 4.4. It's also better for London size wise!
I think a '66/'17 reg has the halfway house updated nav system but has done a nice bit of depreciating and also within budget. The Vogue is lovely but you can't hustle them down a B road whereas the Sport wafts AND can go down a B road and maintain some decency!

Archie the first thing to get sorted if you buy the Vogue is to get Tony to replace the front winscreen, the car has been driven at high speed, result the windscreen is peppered with 'chips'.
Another one that calls a 'Range Rover' a 'Vogue' ...Vogue is the spec not the model 🙄

depreciation in Range Rovers sucks, I bought one at 38k, ran it for 18 months, cost me a FORTUNE to service it, nothing was ever covered on its warranty (3k an exhaust!) and when i went to sell it, it was worth less than half what i had paid for it....

We looked at rangies and ended up with a 16 plate cayenne 4.2 V8 diesel. Great car, would highly recommend.
get the 3L diesel, as you said it's just for cruising so why get a big ass petrol if you're just dailying it
you can get 17 plate ones with the updated screen for less than 50k with a few miles, worth the extra money

Test drive a Mercedes GLC. Diesel if you want good fuel economy
How does that compare? GLE, GLS are the full size SUV’s. Besides the Q8 or X5/X7 are the better options. The bmw 3 litre diesels have exceptional fuel economy and performance

This car is a gamble.
There is many parts on the car (probably chinese) that where cheaply purchased by land rover and have manufacturing defaults.
The car will be on watchdog soon.
It should have been recalled and land rover know all about it and why. If you have missed or been late for a service they will not pay more then 50% if your lucky, of the cost of a new engine (£28000). Unless you take up a law suit with them, they will try to get out of it.
Ive had 2x v8 diesel autobiography and 2x new engines. My freind had a new engine in his, My solicitor is making a career from land rover and another freind who works in land rover service, has seen many of these range rovers with this this insact problem.
In the sump is a sensor that controls all the oil level reading/oil pressure light/oil top up litre light on the dash and it also may have something to do with your due sevice alert on dash as that didn't work either.
This sensor is oviosly ment to be sealed. But the oil it is ment to read gets inside it and oviosly makes it all fail. If you get a oil leak or even go over a service GOOD LUCK you will need super powers X ray vision!
3000miles over your service, they will try and get out of it. Even if you was late on a service 10 services prior to the incident, even years before the incident. They will try to say that this is the reason for the faulty sensor what fills up with the oil that it is ment to be reading. And until you get a solicitor they will try to throb you off and only honer you 50% of a £28000 engine.

I’m not sure why the Range Rover confuses everyone... they all think the model name is Vogue 🙄 you’d expect more from someone who’s in to cars though, especially a previous Range Rover Sport owner. It’s like saying I’m thinking about buying a S. Vogue is the basic trim level Archie, Vogue SE is the middle child, and the big brother is Autobiography. But the model is Range Rover. You had a Range Rover Sport (model) and the trim level is SVR. Christ.

If Tony has to offer something like an X3, X5, or similar Mercedes range, you will not regret it! Buy something reliable that won't lose that much money.
JAG F-pace SVR, must be better at economy as well, plus its a very contentful car I think
Could look at a MY17 range rover because they have the later version of the infotainment but on the pre facelift car
