This is without a doubt the best car for any youtuber. Its neither a sports car nor a true off road vehicle. It is big and flash, makes a loud noise. Too big to drive and park in London, too fuel hungry to take on long distance. Just good for 'revving' and driving to youtube corner.
With the old SVR : yea the new SVR doesnt sound as good as the new one. With the new SVR : OMGG the new SVR sounds way better. Come on archie who are you fooling?
Congrats on the new SVR! 19' SVR owner as well, few things to be aware about. Reverse camera is very laggy, so be careful when reversing into spots. Also, extreme cold weather, talking under 0 degrees (i'm in Canada), the infotainment will most likely not work. Not sure why, but it's very annoying, as my screen will usually stay black, or begin to lag like crazy and won't be responsive to touches. Other than that, car is amazing. I'm told the new QS exhaust drones quite bad on the highway, so be wary of that, as it is quite expensive. Lots of good reviews on res delete, and valve removal. Good luck with the car, and enjoy!
With each new generation of range rover they say that the old version wallowed round a corner. But now the new one doesn't. Physics don't change. I don't doubt the handling has improved but so has a low to the floor sports car. It is what it is.
Hopefully you won’t experience the software and electronic issues alot of people have had with the 2018- Range rover sports. Which? Rate it the most unreliable car on the market!

The trackhawk is faster on a straight but the SVR is fast enough its still one of the fastest SUVs. Also in corners the SVR will make mince meat out of it. Its also much more luxurious, technological better at offroad, rides way better and is way more comfortable .
The way to deal with fuel consumption is don’t look at it. I have an A7 55Tfsi. I looked weeks ago and it was averaging 25mpg and I started driving in economy. I stopped looking and now drive it to enjoy it.

I'm an old school tuning petrolhead having owned tuned cars that were previously reviewed by Ian Kuah and VBH to name but a few. Those times when were great but times have changed. With a young family now and the things we hear about the environment, isn't it about time you youtubers started changed your stance. Buying these type of cars is not only shocking on fuel, its not particularly great on the environment either. And other youtubers shipping cars to other countries to prevent unnecessary mileage is really poor and irresponsible. Why not be original and start living cars that are fun, stylish, appeals to petrolheads and are more fitting to the times we now live in.

That extra 14 mph will be useful in London. Hate it when I’m driving round Knightsbridge at 160mph but all the other traffic is doing 170mph.
