Lots of different viable builds for these Legendary raids but what has been your go to for beating and farming these events?
I Beat Palkia with Your Azumarill Build
For online farming and ensure everyone survives random Steel Beams I'm using support Gardevoir. Calm, tera Fairy, max HP and SpDef, whatever ability, Covert Cloak, Light Screen / Mystical Fire / Life Dew / Moonblast.
Sylveon worked very well for me on both. They really missed an opportunity not making these 7 star raids...I love raids but they need desperately to be challenging for rare mons like these

After you catch your Dialga and Palkia make sure you go to porto marinada auction house and get the Lustrous globe and the adamant crystal to change Dialga and Palkia to there origin forms

For people who don't want to take the time , to build a Pokemon for these raids. The tera sylveon to the far right of North Province ; Area Three , has all the moves you need ready to go. Level it to 100 , hyper train its stats with normal bottle caps , and run Light Screen , Calm Mind , Moonblast , and Draining Kiss.
Absolutely no hate towards Osirus , his builds and guides are amazing. I've used pretty much every Pokemon he has built , and he's spot on and helps the community so much.
Just an easy suggestion of mine , I know how annoying it can be to try and build pokemon. Especially when you don't have all the things you need on hand.
bruh you da man. i did this for palkia. same moves. osirus ev spread. modest with a light clay to keep the npcs alive. 1st try. didnt even hyper train. quick edit, i even kept cute charm. no hidden ability needed.
ya its nice its 5 stars so dont need to put in the extra work

Ghost terra Annihilape with max attack, max special defence, Rage Fist and Screech did really well for me against both. It even lures Draco Meteor from the Palkia making it weaker for others in the raid. I gave it Metronome but shell bell works as well.

I have to thank you because sylveon was a bust for me whe facing Dialga becasue he used only steel beam but then I tried annihilape and it was so good.

I made a support Slowking that I've been using to host Dialga raids. Light screen, rain dance, heal pulse, and body slam. 252 spdef, 252 hp, holding a light clay. I've never been knocked out and though heal pulse only works on one teammate at a time, it heals quite a lot and helps keep weaker teammates alive. Body slam has a chance to paralyze, so I usually use that when no one needs healing and the shield is up.
I followed your guide in both the Dialga and Palkia Tera Raids and got through them with ease. Thank you so much for your guide 😊
This is a solid build thanks for all the work you do man!! I ended up beating Dialga with Tinkaton Holding a lagging Tail with max IV/EVs on SpD & Atk Light Screen, Swords Dance, Draining Kiss and Play Rough
Annihilape worked really well also. Max HP, Max Attack, Shell Bell held item.. moves: Screech, Bulk Up and Rage Fist the whole way through
Osirus, thank you for your videos. I can confirm that Kommo-o works on Dialga. The build was EV: 252 hp, 252 Attack with Dragon Tera type. Moves: Screech, Dragon Claw, and Belly Drum; Item: Shell Bell. The key is not to try to Belly Drum until after turn 5 when the Trick Room goes away. So the plan is Screech, Screech, and Dragon Claw 3 or 4 times, and then probably faint. After reviving, you can Belly Drum, then Terastallize and Dragon Claw for the rest of the match. I hope that helps someone.
To easily get a Tera Fairy Pixilate Sylveon u can breed a HA Eevee in SwSh, evolve it in SwSh, then transfer the Sylveon to SV. The Sylveon should have Pixilate and Tera Fairy without having to use tera shards or an ability patch. Also if u don't have SwSh or don't mind using an Ability Patch, there's a wild Tera Fairy Sylveon right outside of the Fairy Team Star base.
Or catch the one outside of the team star fairy base the one I got there has the ability.
i just went in with zero ev Zacian crowned, only used swords dance and play rough, got it done first try. really shows how busted zacian is tbh, what i love tho that these raids offer so many options so you can use one of your favorites without it being a burden for the team, so thats really cool
An alternate for this raid would be this same Sylveon with the Calm nature.
For anyone (like me) who only has an Eevee/Sylveon with a good speed stat, it is better to make sure that you are able to tank hits against Dialga rather than out-speed it. As long as you use calm minds on the right times and reapply Light Screens, you will be able to survive long enough to terastilize. Also since I just used an eevee that came from a raid a while ago, I ended up using a Psychic type eevee, which removed my weakness to steel-type moves.
Thank you very much, works like a charm. I used my old Sylveon (which i'm normnally using to farm money) and bred a new Eevee with Special Ability to save a Ability Patch.
Then i EV-trained it, elvolved it into this new Sylveon and defeated Dialga on the first try. I really love your builds, specially if we don't need a pokémon from another edition.
Thank you for all your updates, after about a dozen attempts I managed to capture Palkia with my Sylveon.
Actually Florges is quite good here as well! Ran my hybrid attack/support build. Its got enough base SpDef to eat a raw Steel Beam if it has to before getting up a Light Clay-boosted Light Screen and getting to work. Tossing on a Calm Mind here and there only dampens Dialga's attacks more, coupled with getting SpAtk drops through Moonblast. An occasional Draining Kiss rounds out the set for some drain-based recovery.
Sylveon probably has an edge on offense because of Pixilate, but Florges has some surprisingly good defenses even with just an HP/SpAtk EV investment.
For me that Sylveon for online raid use should be packing tera blast as an option but hyper voice works just as fine. Azumarill can easily solo palkia so just terastalize to fairy type asap before the thing uses 100% hit thunder under rain dance.
Yeah Azu is a great choice it manages the Dialga pretty well to although a bit slower against that one to effectively farm for items but a nice go to if you already have it built in game. thanks for the comment :)

This is so awesome, worked just fine for me. I didn't have access to a hidden ability Sylveon since I started playing only a few days ago, but I made do with Moonblast.

My Sylveon is built exactly as you recommended except for the IVs. Mine has all perfect IVs and I was still able to be first in Diagla's trick room :)
Annihilape is always a good raid Pokémon, Rage Fist is kinda busted. That's what I used for both of them, though Dialga was with raids online as I have Violet.

With Fire Tera Mew with max Sp. Attack, almost max Sp. Defence and the rest in HP with the moves Calm Mind, Acid Spray, Psychic and Dazzling Gleam, held item Shell Bell, I was able to beat Dialga on my second attempt. Dialga didn't go for Earth Power at all when I was Terastalised into Fire it just kept going for Draco Meteor and Steel Beam. I was very lucky.

Haven't tried it against Dialga, but Adamant nature, Fairy tera Iron Valiant worked really well against Palkia. All you need is Swords Dance and Spirit Break. (Also holding a Shell Bell).
Everything works well against Pia. It’s very very weak.
I didn't use it myself but I hosted a Dialga raid where one person brought an Iron Valiant, likely built similarly. It performed okay, but the damage output was subpar. Might have been that person's particular strategy though; definitely worth a shot!
i went with iron valiant on palkia and azumarill on dialga. i didn't even have the right tera for both and they still did well.
i had good results using a H.Goodra Terra:Dragon with max EV in SpD and HP it's moves are Dragon Pulse, Acid Spray, Iron Head, and Dragonbreath

Summary: I chose Covered Cloak and Light Screen mainly because Dialga loves to spam Steel Beam, so releasing Light Screen at the beginning helps a lot with 2 Calm Minds. Covered Cloak is mainly for Palkia, since he loves to not only paralyze, but burn at the same time. Using Covered Cloak would help prevent those debuffs that may cost you a few turns.
Used Gardevoir for Palkia with Misty Terrain and the two Sylveon 2HKO with Pixelate Hyper Beam after max Calm Mind.
Azmarill for the Dialgs because of the Water typing vs Steel and then you use Sylveon vs Palkia because of those Thunders
Hey love your videos and your casting but I have an question, why did you choose hyper voice over moonblast?
I just dusted off the Academy Ace Sylveon. Gave it a metronome and draining kiss. Solo with one move. Would suggest for players who already have this one built. Might need to PP up draining kiss.
It was a breeze for me. I used mew as support with:
Light screen
Mysty terrain
Life dew
Leech life
With sp. Def and hp IV max

Omg that build its so good I beat palkia with this build and I used a dusk ball on it right now
I am using my Baxcalibur ice body with metronome and snowscape for palkia and Kommo-o with shell bell and belly dumb for dialga.
Demolished Palkia with Flutter Mane and Dialga with a support Grimmsnarl build. Helped lots of folks out last night get their catches done
Palkia is such an easy farm by using Flutter Mane or Sylveon with Fake Tears, Draining Kiss and Moonblast. Sylveon is bulkier, but I prefer Flutter Mane because it's stronger and outspeeds Palkia.
The item to go is definitely Covert Cloak to never worry about those annoying paralyses.
I’ve been farming Palkia with flutterman like crazy. Haven’t had such luck with getting decent partners when I join a Dialga raid but I’m working on it. I have one Dialga from PLA but I’d like to have one dragon Tera and one steel Tera but it’s not end of the world if it doesn’t work out Yknow.
I used an Armarouge beat it first try against dialga. Used mystic fire to lower its SpA. Palkia I used that grass Tera type cloudsire build swapped to a dragon and beat it first try as well
Love the sylveon build! Also I caught palkia from the raid, but the lustrous orb won't transform form it when I give it. Is this a bug?
For what it’s worth, I’ve never had to check the Poké Portal News to get access to any of these special raid events.
I ended up using a Gardevoir for both since I already had one built from a previous 7 star raid.
For Palkia I used fairy iron valiant with max spt attack with booster energy with drain punch and spirit break
I used an Umbreon with max special defense EVs to support an Iron Hands, Miraidon, and Sylveon against Palkia. Just snarled repeatedly and put up a few helping hand for the Miraidon in order to win.
i used fighting tera ape with screech rage fist drain punch and bulk up on dialga. I used fairy tera azumarill with belly drum ice fist aqua tail and play rough on palkia.
Just do sylveon moonblast with shell bell. Works both on dialga and palkia. You can throw in calm minds too.
I got pretty lucky with bellibolt to paralyze and I just used dark tera mew and with a few swords dances crunches and some lucky heal cheers I beat it first try
Is the dialga IV locked? I know you said the speed IV is locked, but am wondering if I need to soft-reset for a 0 atk IV? Same question for palkia's attack/speed
I’ve been trying so hard but getting things take so long, it took me a while but I have a level 95 sylveon that isn’t secret ability, however I stuffed it full of drugs and mints to beef it up and I got within INCHES OF TAKING OUT PALKIA AND IT GETS LUCKY WITH HYDRO PUMP AND THE TIME PENALTY ENDS THE RAID
I been using Alolan Ninetales with Aurora Veil, Nasty Plot, Blizzard and Moonblast. Snow Warning Ability.
I used Iron Hands and I just spammed Drain Punch. It worked out well
Built it exactly how you said to and I keep fainting and dialga keeps nullifying negative effects when the shield pops up I’m playing it how you said it’s been the worst one for me
I just use conkeldurr with 2 bulk up one Focus energy and use hammer arm and drain punch to solo it
So I tried to set my Sylveon up like you, and every single move except hyper voice kept failing. Thankfully I had strong online players with me so I got dialga regardless but I’m just confused as to how my light screen and fake tears didn’t work
Anyone know why I still have the 7 star cinderace raid and haven't found a palkia raid? It says I'm at the latest update for everything as well.

Tera fairy Belly drum, play rough azumarill with shell bell worked fine for both of them
How much would the 252/252/6 translate into vitamins and feathers?
The standard Azumarill raid build also works for both of them. The only thing you have to worry about is Palkia's Thunder but the AI isn't smart for this raid so it's rng dependant on what moves it uses.

For some reason, Palkia loves to use Fire Blast.

One thing I kinda fail to get is how Pixilate works with Tera. Does the move first become Fairy-type and then activate if it's Fairy Tera, or does it otherwise (which would enjoy if the Tera is Normal)?
The Tera type boost is always applied to the final move type, just like STAB. The easy way to remember this is that Tera Blast is always boosted by the Tera type.
Magearna with Metronome is probably the best to solo Dialga. 2 Calm Minds on the first 2 turns. Spam Draining Kiss. Set up 2 Calm Minds again when they reset your stat. Draining Kiss. Terrastalize then profit.
Oh I used different moveset for Sylveon and succed
Using moves like calm mind, moon last, drain kiss,
Best build I've found
Ice rider calyrx
252 hp 252 atk 6 special defense
With moves: Glacial Lance/Sword dance/iron defence/taunt
Turn 1-2 sword dance
Turn 3 Glacial Lance
It lowers our stats
Turn 4-7 sword dance
Turn 8 Glacial Lance should do it .
You may get paralyzed throughout so it may take some additional turns depending so
only problem is i don't understand how to get slyveon to this point i leveled my sylveon to 100 and gave it the same moves but palkia is annihilating me, i had to substitute hyper voice for moon blast since i don't have the means to get its hidden ability
Defeated both legends with Frosmoth, max Sp. attack, max Sp. def , Ice scales, modest, shell bell, 3 struggle bug , once he nullifies stats is time for 2 or even 4 quiver dances, then just attack with ice beam.
Seemed tedious to find an Eevee or Sylveon with low speed stat. And after 5 turns, trick room is done and out speeding Dialga is useful on the back end of the fight.
Rolled with two Koraidon and wiped both of them in one take.
Did it with metronome tera steel sylvian for support and a terra fairy sylvian
I actually managed to do the raids with my tera fairy flutter mane, no defensive investment whatsoever, it was max speed and special attack. Palkia was easy, dialga destroyed me the first time, one turn was missing for success, koed me three times because it was spamming steel beam. The second time i got it to work
I used the old build of azumeril with belly drum and play rough
for me l kinda didnt have the material for this raid batttle l just got my lengeds arcuse sylveon which is at level 100 to do it lucky it work which lm happy for :)
Pixie Plate Arceus is also pretty good in this one. Although it can´t Fake Tear

I used a diff fairy type and dialga used steel beam. That didn’t work out for me, lol.

Can you use a Kelpsy berry to set the IV to 0
Azumaril with shell bell, belly drum and play rough, barely need a third of the raid timer for it
Surprisingly Baxcalibur worked quite well against Dialga. It's not the quickest, but very safe. Do note, mine was Tera Steel, so Draco Meteor did nothing.
Damn ur lucky he didn't hit u with amy steel or dragon type moves before u got ur terastaslisation
@@tharealchevy he did, but Bax is kinda tanky? I mostly got hit with steel beam (did like 10% without any buff) and fire blast (which ended up buffing me). Then it was the wait game. Also, a Daschbun was turboing howl like crazy, which helped a lot.
I just used Fairy Type Fairy Tera Arceus in Scarlet and a Fairy Type Normal Tera Arceus in Violet.
Evs:
SpA: maxed
Hp: maxed
Rest in Defense
Flutter Mane w/max Sp Att. Moonblast/Draining kiss turn 1-3. Once shield is up and your stats are reset (happens only once), Calm mind to max buffs, followed by moonblast. Guaranteed win.
tinkerton was pretty solid for me during the raid
just a note, IVs are random, the dialga i had had best in speed, quiet sylveon underspeeds guaranteed with 14 IVs in speed or less
Florges is great against them. Maybe the Outbreaks are a hint :) I prefer Florges over Sylveon
