Love your work, and admire your empathy...I would do exactly the same if i saw them struggling, for too long wildlife reporters have maintained the "do not intervene, it's nature at work", well I'm sorry, Man is responsible for lots of species struggling, with their destruction of the hedgerows and pest control. So completely correct to try and negate fx of reduced numbers of food species. When an Eu law was introduced 20 yrs ago banning farmers from leaving carrion in fields because of stupid Mad cow rules, our raptor populations suffered, Spain rejected these laws and had set up secure feeding stations where wild vultures are given a helping hand. I'm a European but sometimes they get it wrong..👍

Everything in this video is so moving, the dedication of Mum and Dad and Uncle Robert, the loss of the little ones 😢 But then the relief when the 3 remaining have fledged (sorry to spoil the next one 🤭) ! we're so sad to hear the news but I can't imagine how you must feel after all your hard work when a little chick doesn't make it, must be even more heartbreaking for you... So thanks again sincerely for everything you do for them all !
Athena and Apollo: Here's the food children, its not much but its all we have. Baby kestrels: We already ate! Athena and Apollo: What do you mean? Baby kestrels: Theres a human in the tree that gives us food sometimes! Athena and Apollo: *visible confusion* All in all, good job helping the birds! It was heartbreaking to see two die, but such is the life in nature.
I simply love watching your videos, so heartbraking at times, but you can make up a full storyline that's so addictive to watch and makes everyone feel empathy for them and wanthing to jump and help
It’s often a bit of a rollercoaster filming wildlife there are ups downs moments of laughter and frightening moments too glad everyone says engage and don’t go to another video if things get bad. We always try to tell the story as it is without making it too hard to watch Thanks for watching 😄
God bless you for keep helping out our feathery fellows out there. Really appreciate your efforts to help all of the chick. But most importantly, please be very careful climbing up there sir. That's quite a high spot. Aaand Oh, very good video~ looking forward to see Apollo and Athena this year~
Reminds me of my cousin up in the mountains. She has a 3 story house that has a huge old growth tree right out the window where a family of hawks come every season. Her fiance is a wildlife ranger too an would spend hours watching em while reading books. But one season, due to drought and a huge fire, an a property near by that was annoyingly having a lot of clearing an construction work for new dreaded houseing tracks, the hawk family were not doing too good. So he got a few rats to help them out. He's only ever done this a few times in his area due to the hawks being so threatened there an just couldn't watch their babies waste away after one died. It can be hard to know when interfering with nature is acceptable or not, even for some professionals like him. But as he said, sometimes you gotta listen to your heart an not let it grow cold to the plight of animals. Hes also tempted to set up a live cam on their next visit.
Thanks some say I’m interfering but can’t just watch as the chicks starve it’s most lightly down to humans that there numbers are declining in the UK 🇬🇧
@@RobertEFuller I know, I've heard people say don't interfere, but I don't feel that way. If you hadn't feed them, the chicks probably would have died and the bird population is already in decline.
Great clip mate👍 Truly eye opening, informative + emotional as well. I think can speak on behalf of most people whom have seen this for the first time- by stating that I had know idea the amount of care & sacrifice a paired Kestrel can provide for their young. 👌

It would have been even better if I had got to the little chick sooner and saved it but it’s always a hard decision as to when and if to help out with wildlife
Such hard working parents🥰 it’s to bad it’s so hard for them sooo happy you helped em!
You breaking my heart, really hate to see two lost, but survival is nature.
God bless you for doing everything you possibly can.
Thanks 😊
Wonderful footage! A joy to watch.
Thanks 😊 glad you enjoyed it

Everything in this video is so moving, the dedication of Mum and Dad and Uncle Robert, the loss of the little ones 😢 But then the relief when the 3 remaining have fledged (sorry to spoil the next one 🤭) ! we're so sad to hear the news but I can't imagine how you must feel after all your hard work when a little chick doesn't make it, must be even more heartbreaking for you... So thanks again sincerely for everything you do for them all !
Thanks it’s hard to watch the wildlife we are so involved with struggling I will always try to help them and most importantly say wild
I like d reference to Uncle Robert!! Totally agree! ❤️
Athena and Apollo: Here's the food children, its not much but its all we have.
Baby kestrels: We already ate!
Athena and Apollo: What do you mean?
Baby kestrels: Theres a human in the tree that gives us food sometimes!
Athena and Apollo: *visible confusion*
All in all, good job helping the birds!
Just started watching Apollos journey and I am so happy that this part is already uploaded! Thank you I love watching them
Glad you enjoy it!
R.I.P. bird. He was a great soldier. He fought for a long time. He deserves a Medal of Honour
Who said don't interfere with nature you done a great
Job Robert thanks for sharing this video
Thank you for saving these chiks
The narration is very good! What a joy watching & learning about Kestrels. Thank you!
God bless you for keep helping out our feathery fellows out there. Really appreciate your efforts to help all of the chick. But most importantly, please be very careful climbing up there sir. That's quite a high spot. Aaand Oh, very good video~ looking forward to see Apollo and Athena this year~
Thanks 😊 I always try to stay safe but spend a lot of time up trees and on ladders and dangling rope’s
I liked how the father tried to feed the chicks
I just love how you care for these kestrels!
Wonderful human friend they have👍
Thanks 😊
Oh! How lovely. Great with that chick Mr. Fuller!

I really enjoyed it. Appreciate your efforts
So nice of you
Thank you for all you do and this beautiful video! I'm so glad you were able to help this little family.❤️
Thanks some say I’m interfering but can’t just watch as the chicks starve it’s most lightly down to humans that there numbers are declining in the UK 🇬🇧
@@RobertEFuller I know, I've heard people say don't interfere, but I don't feel that way. If you hadn't feed them, the chicks probably would have died and the bird population is already in decline.
he is a a true human kestrel
WELL DONE ROBERT
Thanks 😊
bless your heart for doing this for these amazing birds
Great clip mate👍
Truly eye opening, informative + emotional as well. I think can speak on behalf of most people whom have seen this for the first time- by stating that I had know idea the amount of care & sacrifice a paired Kestrel can provide for their young. 👌
Thanks so much 😃 that’s me very happy I wanted to show everything you kindly listed Nature is amazing 🤩
Wow this so beautiful to watch and so nice that your trying to help these beautiful family bird...
I bet when those chicks are grown up they will remember you and one day they will come see you to thank you for saving them!
