    Love the new styling and lights. We have a 2019 with the red highlights and it's been an absolute gem to drive and own. These are so well put together and drives like a charm. Highly recommended.

    We recently ordered the Picanto in Melbourne Australia. It's the base fat tyre auto model in green for a comfortable ride. A great second car.

      Is there any lead time to getting the car? Or was one available for drive away when you purchased it? @letsseeif

      @@jimmyjoy93 @jimmyjoy93. It took 5 months from order to delivery. Thanks again.

    They shouldn't have got rid of the 1.0T 99 BHP engine........Otherwise it's a nice little car.

    It's a great little car I prefer the one with more power by your video. My brother has the old model version one. So his laques quick movement but he loves it personally ❤ though.

    1:54 "There's no bargain basement trim offered"
    How is that not a glaringly obvious problem for anyone?

    Historically the A segment has never been profitable and, with higher safety/emissions standards, most companies have left the segment.

      Still, A segment cars are still the best choice for city dwellers.

    Looks good, and with 7 year Kia warranty would be a no brainer for those who want worry free motoring.

      Wait until you try to claim on it 5 years down the line and they present you with the list of exclusions

      Yes a total no brainier. We have had two picantos now, and even on the Very rare occasion anything has gone wrong it's been fixed under warranty no problem.

    Gosh it looks awesome compared to the EV9, it really works, but I would love the turbo to be available 😊

    Without an EV or Hybrid. No excuses to not provide the simple option to make small cars more attractive and sustainable

      Just the cost of building in more complexity. You can either have a low price or high equipment level.

  • @voiculiviu9130
    @voiculiviu9130 2 месяца назад +2

    65bhp?! This sort of power would have been good in the 80s. Now with the cars being so full of equipment and quite "fat" that figure will get you to 60MPH in the same time you make yourself a cup a tea 😂.

      It is not a car for performance but low cost travel.

    5:36 very frugal? Upwards of 40mpg? The car industry is a joke. With incentives and competition, we’d easily be getting 80mpg city cars by now. Suzuki made a 70mpg 1.0l Dualjet engine, but stopped making it because no one was interested. They’d rather have a less efficient car and just complain at the price of fuel. Now the manufacturers are being forced to sell electric cars and everyone is worried about range, they’re suddenly all competing to make the most aerodynamic car possible. Where was that competition for the combustion engine?

    What a pity that the new Picanto has such a pathetically performing engine, with only a modest improvement in the 1.2 version which is apparently only available on the top of the range GT Line-S. Gone is the "pocket rocket" available on the previous model! A great shame...

  • @anthonybrown4874
    @anthonybrown4874 2 месяца назад +2

    Not sure Kia will push these much unless they meet the 22% EV target easily so deals might not be the best.
    No turbo 1.0 which is criminal when you have GT trim.

    There's more power in a Dyson Hand Held vacuum cleaner than this car.....should have kept the 1.0 turbo.....

    I've been waiting for the new Picanto. If I'd known it was just a rework of the old one with new front and rear panels I'd have gone for the Stonic. This is as ugly as the 2023 version
