Hey what's up man. Two nice cars. GSF owner here and yeah you definitely need headers and exhaust on any F car to wake things up. They're geared to be highway monsters so you should start reeling in the m2 after the mods. I'm in Texas and would love to do a friendly run with both of your cars. I only have exhaust but planning for headers and tune

I'd like to see IS-F FBO RR Racing Tune and Tuned intake running E30, then run that race back. You are correct for IS-F on roll 40mph or 60mph with 60mph be better against forced induction cars with similar HP. At 60mph the IS-F is closer to that cross over point, that's when hp and gearing play a bigger role. Looking forward to rerun next time with similar mods. Great job👍

I've tried several different suspension setups from swift lower springs with bilstein shocks, Kwv3 coilovers which I'm selling and Airlift3H 30 way adjustable perfomance suspension. Superpro bushings, skikky sway bars, figs engineers suspension components etc. I'm also moderator on Clublexus Forums. @@skrrtgarage3922 Glad to help OK, so let's go. For power me one of best and biggest power adders are Headers! Whether standard or longtube. The factory Headers are very restrictive you also do away with primarily cats. You get biggest increase in power with adding Headers second catback exhaust also decent increases in power you do away with secondary cats. The combination of two is significant increase in power and glorious sounding exhaust note. Some people opt to run hi flow secondary race cat. Some add for inspections purposes also to help control smell of exhaust fumes while other to help out environment. Adding hi flow cats you may lose between 5hp to 10hp, it's typical on lower side. Intake really don't do much for Adding power unless you use RR Racing tuned intake which increase MAF Housing from 80mm to 87mm as well as 7in K & N velocity stack air filter cone mounted on 3in pipe. So your moving more air that's why MAF Housing was increase to 87mm. If you choose different intake go with Carbon Fiber or Silicone intakes for heat soak issue typically you'll see at best 5hp gains with decent intake desig. RR Racing intake along with headers and catback gains are around 15hp some higher others bit lower when dynoed. With PPE Headers that I got jet hot coated have performed flawlessly no cracks no leaks no issues for 9yrs with JoeZ catback exhaust and RR Racing Tuned intake with that large K&N velocity stack sounds beastly headers and catback growl along with induction sound of RR Racing Intake. Especially at high speeds if you RR Racing Tune with redline increased to 7200rpm vs 6800rpm. There are myriad of well made catbacks available from $1000 to $5000. You'll have to decide for yourself what tone you like, sound and suspension are so subjective.
So for me my fav mod were Headers catbaback exhaust and RR Racing intake. Remember this is N/A car so you don't get huge power gains from Tune. The Tune from my experience gives you increase redline which does work better midrange low-end power. It's how car now applies power much sharper midrange and more immediate low-end.You can see it in dyno graphs. Tune comes I to its own when Supercharging IS-F. Only RR Racing offers Supercharger or forced induction right now. But they are probably best with most R&D time and proven product that works. Stage I, II or III which is stage III 780hp. The 2UR-GSE is similar to 2JZ-GTE in sense both were over built. Both can handle 800hp on stock block. IS-F engine comes with forged crank forged rods Toyota cast piston just like 2JZ-GTE. The IS-F also has titanium lifters, Not a true dry-sump system, but the additional oil scavenge pumps that work in a similar way. There just isn't an additional oil storage tank. If you Supercharger IS-F the kit comes with dry-sump system. Heads were built and designed by Yamaha F1 racing division. So 2UR-GSE it's pretty strong engine just like it grand father 2JZ-GTE. Interesting fact the designer of Toyota Supra and 2JZ-GTE and Lexus IS-F and 2UR-GSE is Yukihiko Yaguchi.

Id say sibling rivalry is a more apt comparison for the ISF and the M3 rather than the M2. The M2 is a smaller car and in a different class. The M3 and the ISF are in the same class so its a better matchup.
That Lexus is gonna sound nasty with some good exhaust. Id get full exhaust and not just the long tubes. Id also recommend the 3.7 gear ratio out of a GS450H. Keep the ISF diff if it has the torsen rear diff and only swap out the ring and pinion for the 3.7. This will significantly improve acceleration across the board over the stock rear gearing. An RR racing or tune by Loi would round out the mods and dial it in nicely.
