When I want to see a good interview with a really interesting guest I watch this show. Malala Yousfzai is such a modest, dignified and powerful person, such a fascinating and inspirational person.
Watching this I realized I get to grow old with her being a public figure in my lifetime. We are close in age and the idea that she is a person that is doing so much for the world and is making history in the world is incredible to me.
I think many of us are. I know I am. Shes one of those people who make me realize I'm not radical enough in the way I challenge the status quo when the status quo harms vulnerable people.
Actually, no...the reason why the Taliban shot her in the first place was because they were pissed that a woman dared to preach about women being educated, which they are vehemently against. So, they wanted to silence her...either by death or by fear if she survived. The fact that she CONTINUED to preach that women get educated despite being shot as a way of being silenced is her claim to fame. Most people wouldn't want to be vocal about what they stand up for after enduring something so traumatic. I mean...look how most people are when they debate politics on Facebook or other message boards, and they stop doing so after a while because they can't stand the drama any more.
@chocobonita supporting education for all which can help so many people actualize their potential can actually in long run lead to revolutionary discoveries like finding cure for cancer. For such great outcomes, you must put in great efforts like this little girl did at such a tender age of 15. She refused to bow down to the most dangerous people.

I remember when all this happened to her, I remember being inspired by her, I remember thinking I could also make a difference yet nothing came of it. Now all that's left is to admire those brave enough to speak up brave enough to make a difference. I am not interesting enough to inspire people but I can help the one's doing the inspiring. So what I am saying is DONATE TO THE MISFORTUNATE.
Start by inspiring yourself. Find what inspires you and walk to the rhythm of that inspiration. An inspired life inspires those who witness it & out beyond your view. If you live your best life, those nearby become inspired and that's your own quiet greatness. When more of us do that, we contribute to transforming our planet, just as individual drops of water create a rainstorm.
As you can see you've inspired at least 30people to at least hit the "like" on your comment, lol. Just think about every one you talk to, people you say nothing more than hello to, you may never know how much you matter to them or how you've helped them to do great things too. Keep going!

She is so right about the benefits of giving all girls access to education. People see it as a third-world problem, but it affects the entire world's economy, scientific advancement, resources, and more.
Oh look! Somebody who lets their guests actually answer their questions uninterrupted and at neccessary length...
I bet you won't find this long of an answer on any other american tv show. It has become an issue, really. Even Colbert sometimes jumps in when his guests say something he wants to pick up on.
Do that...when their finished! It's just rude, even though I admit there's little time and they have to steer the conversation
YeeSoest time is money

Who would interrupt Malala? Nobody

Very interesting interview
🇰🇪
From Phoenix, Arizona, she is an awesome woman.🌼💞
"It is never their first choice." Touching and true.
This was an amazing interview. Malala is an amazing , intelligent, compassionate human being.
Such an amazing young woman. I wish her the best, she is so right about the importance of education!
She’s my age and goes oxford and won a Nobel. I’ve done nothing 😭
So, to honor her influence, change your life and do something for others.
Keep going!
Everyone is important, including you.
@Hoàng Nguyên but i don't really support her way of dealing with rohingyas now. I used to admire her so much for taking a stand against arbitrary rule.
@Hoàng Nguyên people look upto their leaders a lot. If she doesn't even speak forget reasoning out on the topic with masses, things won't change at all.
Go Malala! Combating ignorance is one of the most important things in the world!
She is incredible and such an inspiration. Well done Trevor for having her on your show.
I learned about her 10 years ago in secondary school. My idol really. I love how she stands up for those who are hard to be heard 😢😢
Malala you are an inspiration to oppressed populations. Venezuela will be free.
🙏
Asi es hermano! we will be free soon!
den nombre de Dios! Venezuela will be free.
From whom???
She is so very kind.
I can listen to her talk all day.
A truly remarkable spirit, and a living breathing monument for change.
OMG I never cried over s.o talking in an interview! When she talked about the education Ban I just exploded! 😢 She is a Hero.
soumaya atoui Yes,indeed. She is a Hero
She isnt a hero. She is being used by agencies to run undercover secret projects in pakistan to destabalise pakistan. Her actions (if you come to know about them) speaks otherwise that what she is saying on tv shows and media. unfortunately
She is bloody bitch of this earth
Nasir Mehmood And you are the worst piece of shit.
@@nasirmehmood832 if she is that, that means you don't exist, think about it
When I want to see a good interview with a really interesting guest I watch this show.
Trevor is shy of her. He is fascinated by her.
macosby anthony cant blame him
He's very fascinated by smart women. I've seen him mellow a lot when he interviews very intelligent, highly educated women. Its incredible
👧This young woman has more courage than any right-winger or conservative ever had
She's conservative though?
@@TheMagicJIZZ You can be a conservative without being a piece of shit Republican. Republicans are pro-kids-getting-shot, I'm pretty sure Malala is the opposite.
@@TheMagicJIZZ American "conservatives" have lost its essence. They've replaced it with bigotry and religious intolerance. I am a Liberal but I can respect a conservative with a sense of honor and real morality. I feel like Diogenese looking for an honest man.
@@bladedesoul Nope she donates the money to Palestinians as well who can then kill Israeli kids. Not to mention she follows Islam and probably wants Sharia govern counties to live in which produce the kind of org. like the Taliban. It's a loop.
@@georgeb.wolffsohn30 You liberals are just stupid, not just to the Americans, but to the rest of the world as well. Eat away your own country and destroy it with multiculturalism.
Thank you, Trevor Noah for this respectful interview. Malala is freaking awesome. She is so intelligent, humble, kind-hearted, brave, funny, poised, beautiful... she seems like the very rare hero who measures up completely to the perception. Love love love her. She is amazing. 💜💙💚

OH MY GOD WHAT AN AMAZING WOMAN
"He's trying to say things nice to me. Don't think it's working."
*OH. DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANG!!!!*
Alia Ris that was hilarious😂
Keep going!
Alexander Gouin never say never. Walk to the beat of your music. Everyday kindness and empathy touch others in ways we will never know.
Trevor Noah letting someone speak for so long is quite unusual. 😂😂
Great initiative Trevor.

I’M SO HAPPY ABOUT THIS INTERVIEW
This is great content. She really is inspiring, when you talk you can't not listen to what she has to say. She brings her message across very well.
Every time I see her I feel like "Malalalalalalaaaaaa" a breath of fresh air ...
She’s such an impressing young woman! I love her and feel inspired by her words and her actions ❤️
What a god damn icon, Malala is amazing
Education = Freedom
FREE education and healthcare = freedom. You're not free if you're forced into crippling debt by getting that education or when you have to choose between paying rent/buying food or paying for life saving medicinal treatment.
Truly Wise beyond her years
Intelligent, articulate and inspiring. You ROCK Malala!!!
We need more people like this two amazing guys 🤗
The way she speaks so passionately about education brings tears to my eyes, she's such an inspiration.
What a well spoken, intelligent, brave young lady she is. She motivates me in my goal of becoming a physician as an immigrant in a land of opportunities
Malala is an amazing person who has embraced the notoriety of what happened to her, and turned it into a strength to help others. We should strive to be at least half as good as her.
AND her clothing color choices are amazing as well. Drooling over her outfit.
Okay, back to the regularly scheduled program...
The more she speaks, the more I cry. She is such an inspiration. When she spoke of that 15 year old girl who had to escape Guatemala...you can tell Malala knew her pain. Being a refugee is never anyone's first choice! Thank you Malala for speaking out about refugees, thank you for bringing awareness to the need of educating and empowering girls around the world. You are my hero!
She's so passionate about what she does. Well done to Trevor for a great interview
THIS GIRL IS 23, SHES A FKING BOSS, I WANNA BE HER WHEN I GROW UP SO BAD!
Me too !!!
Same even tho I'm so called grown up, I still wanna be like her.
I love this woman so much, she makes me feel intimidated and to peruse my goals and dreams.
She is so well spoken. Have great love & respect for her
Trevor... brilliant mate
If only we all spread LOVE!!
Above all we are all human. Mulala she is a strong women... the world needs more like her.
She shouldn't call herself a victim... She's a Warrior, a Champion and a Heroine.
Those aren't mutually exclusive - she's a warrior, a champion, a heroine and a victim of violence.
One day she will say "survivor" instead of victim.
As a humble person I don't believe she'd say (or even think) of herself as a champion, warrior, or heroine. The true heroes rarely do.
But I understand what you mean.
THANK YOU so much Trevor. I was so disappointing with her interview with David Letterman... Not only the right questions, but a good listener! And thank you for letter her speak.
She is so articulate, and passionate for her cause and education. She is amazing. She is a real life hero.
What an amazing human being Malala is. Seeing her talk has made me love her even more. To go through what she experienced and still have this positive zeal towards life is just incredible
I am truly in awe of her. She is humble and funny and warm and beautiful, I can't say enough about her. here is someone I love without ever having met her.
Probably (one of) the best interview on the Daily Show. Such an inspiration !
Probably (one of) the best interview ...on the daily show such an inspiration .

Malala always speaks with a lot of sense and inspiration everytime.
God bless you Malala for humanizing refugees
This may just be one of the best interviews ever ....hats off to this strong, intelligent, kind and brave queen
And Trevor was a stud ..he was so patient and didn't interrupt at all
Thank you Malala ❤️
“You make us realise how trash we are as human beings “ ❤️❤️
Nice joke or is it the reality?
Wonderful interview from such an inspiring young woman. I would love to see more like this.
I admire that young lady so much. And all she wanted is too go to school, to expand her mind.
Thank you, Trevor, for having this amazing woman on your show. She is a portrait of poise, wisdom, and compassion.
she really is such an inspiration.....nothing but respect for this absolute QUEEN
I know this is not relevant her and her work is amazing but she's growing up to be such a beautiful woman, inside and out.
She looks like a typical Pakistani beauty.

Simran Simran I mean... she’s objectively hideous. By African/American/Martian standards, she looks like a chubby Arab man in drag
Those who post nasty comments about her looks must remember that she got shot in the head and she has significant nerve damage to her face due to which she can't fully control the muscles on one side of her face, and that does cause her face to look asymmetrical.
We need more Malala in this world. Thanks Trevor Noah for this interview.

Simply an incredible young woman! Judged by degree of difficulty, as in diving competition, she is the best of the best. Hopefully she will have a long life. I would take the next bullet evil doers use to try and silence her with, to insure so.
She is humble and terribly smart and well-spoken. Inspiring.
