After raising my 4th Hand-Feed Lovebird, I wanted a Black Mask Fisher ( B.M.F.) because of their beauty - and I had got my other birds from a breeder (Tom's Lovebird Farm) in San Bernadino CA. I had heard that they were VERY HARD to train. He had the LARGEST selection of EVERY kind & color there was -EXCEPT the Black Mask Fisher...and he told me he had stopped carrying them BECAUSE they were ALWAYS returned - owners were always dissatisfied with them, and because this, he would lose money . So I looked elsewhere, and could not find any babies to Hand-Feed, but DID find one about 4 months old. Knowing how hard they were to train, I was EXTRA PATIENT....and after another 4 months the ONLY thing it would do, was hop on my finger just so he could get out of the cage. Maybe if YOU could get a Black Masked Fisher AND train it like your other birds, AND do what they do, I would KNOW and PROCLAIM you THE VERY BEST LOVEBIRD TRAINER there is !!! I think EVERYONE who has had a B.M.F. would be VERY interested, and follow each video you made during your training of this IMPOSSIBLE bird. Another Great Video - Thank You
Mine bites me as well. I got Birdie when it was 1yr old and have it for 1 yr now. He was fearful of hands and would bite very aggressively. He now isn't frightened of my hands when he is in his cage and I can feed it pellets through the bars and he is fine. This has taken so much patience and love that I never anticipated. Do love my Birdie.😍😍🥰🥰

UV rays can still penetrate. That’s why there UV protection hats and clothes and sunscreen. More than 50% can penetrate. That’s why you can still get tanned if you’re standing by a window

if you haven't done it yet, don't do it! I love his care but I just don't like that he clipping his bird's wings, it's like taking away a dog's ability to walk on purpose it's cruel, yes it won't physically hurt them but it is mentally painful. birds are meant to fly and that's how they exercise and that's when they are the happiest when they are in the air! and clipping their wings won't keep them from flying completely they just won't be able to fly up words and that's just unnecessary as most of the dangers for the birds (cats, dogs, etc) are on the ground and if your bird falls off a high place or tries to fly from a high place it can fall and die so please don't to it, and if you have then let its wings grow out and don't clip them trust me your bird will be so much happier
And at the end of this month am getting me a Gray African Parrot they are pair and they 2months old am going to do the same thing to them to am teach them how to say hello n more
I need helpppp. I have 2 handfed baby lovebirds. They're still not fully grown maybe like around 2 or 3 weeks by now. I started feeding them when they couldnt even open their eyes yet but they seem to be afraid of me. Is this normal? Is it because theyre still babies??
do you know how to tame adult lovebirds? cause im afraid my lovebirds will fly away when i open the lock of their cages, and should i put a few toys in their cage and not too much?

I put my birds in our balcony. I was wondering if this makes them stress because there are people walking outside and some cars which is noisy sometimes. So we are niw thinking to change there location inside the garage but there’s no sunlight there
U can get a bird safe uv light (bird safe light bulb). Similar to the ones used for lizards and snakes but there is a difference because those can damage birds eyes. If u can't find the in pet stores check amazon or ebay 😊
