- CAN COMMANDER CODY AND HIS CLONE FORCES TRACK DOWN WHAT THEY THINK ARE THE LAST FEW REMAINING JEDI....
Having heard rumours of the force being used on the planet Ossus,
the Republic high command orders Commander Cody to lead a force of
clones to the planet to investigate.
Arriving under a barrage of hostile conditions, they are instantly hemmed in and attacked. The encampment that they have stumbled across does contain force users, but not the ones that they were looking for...

Ventress can still spend the dodge even though the attack has immune deflect, it just means any surges she rolls don't cause any wounds back to Cody
Hi buddy, you're totally correct, this was a miss play on my behalf. Thank's for the heads up 👍
Why did the BARC get Heavy Cover?
Didn’t look like 50% of its silhouette was obstructed buy the terrain
I'm not sure buddy, we may of missed played it, if you've got a time stamp, i'll watch it back.
first strike vs ventress... ventress have outmaneuver!!! :(
Great spot Alan, thanks for the heads up 👍
Fiery start to an overall electric game! Amazing as always
Thank's buddy, didn't get off to the best start and was in a spot of trouble. Very close game and could of gone either way at the end.
Great game lads, interesting to the end!
Cheers mate, we appreciate the support 👍
Great game…those dice took a big swing at the end!
Thank's Jay, glad you enjoyed. They certainly did, dice can be a cruel mistress at times lol 🤣.
Cody can actually be the best (even better than force users). His 3 pip can give a hostage 4 moves on turn 1 while they cant be attacked. My list has 2 AT-RTs (excellent fire support platforms) with range 4. I have R2-D2 as well who can add another move before turn activations. Thats 5 moves before a single attack could be made. No force user can even catch you.
Hi James, thank's for the comment. Your list sounds interesting, free moves on a hostage unit is very strong and yes I agree ATRTs are great fire support platforms. Have you found any down sides to the hostage unit line of play ?
@CraftyTerrain actually no.
Order 99
791/800 (10 activations)
Commanders:
- Clone Commander Cody (105): Aggressive Tactics (15) = 120
- Clone Commander (60): Improvised Orders (5) = 65
Operative:
- R2-D2 = 55
Corps:
- 2× Phase II Clone Troopers (60): Phase II Mortar Trooper (18) = 156
- Phase I Clone Troopers (52): Fives (40) = 92
- Phase I Clone Troopers (52): RPS-6 Trooper (21), Boil (15) = 88
Support:
- 2× AT-RT (60): Laser Cannon (10) = 140
- Raddaugh Gnasp Fluttercraft (55): Gnasp Bombardier (20) = 75
Commands: • Bring It Down!, • Synchronized Offensive, •• Have I Ever Let You Down?, •• Push, ••• Combined Arms, ••• Smoke Screen, •••• Standing Orders
I use R2D2 for healing those AT-RTs and the sneaky victory point. The Gnasp is an excellent linebacker vs Jedi or melee units. R2s 3 pip also allows a move before activations so you can literally move a hostage 5 times before any shots (force push, etc..). It's a suckers bet. Jedi just think it's an auto win so they'll happily accept Hostage. I've used it to great effect a few times. It's really the reason I keep the 8 pt bid. Between Hostage and the Gnasp jedi don't know what hit them.
Love Maul and Ventress! They’re a great pair
Hi Nathan, having double sith on the table did feel powerful, but now that force choke got a nurf, I'm not sure this list is so powerful. Was fun at the time tho.
Love it! Great report. Well played both 😊
Thank's mate, was very close game. Could of gone both ways really.
@17:42 can repulser vehicles like the barc reduce their speed like that? I thought you had to do the full speed if you’re a repulsor vehicle.
Hi buddy, the only time a repulser vehicle must move full, if able is on its compulsory move. On the other moves after it can slow down.
Hope that helps 👍
"Tactical Readjustment of Positions"😁. ie. Run for cover or retreat or Run Away!
You got it in one mate. Run, flee, hide 🤣
Awesome battle report! I've been very interested to see how Cody and Asajj fare on the battlefield.
Very minor thing but the Barc could've shot an extra black at 27:20, the stock DC15 can be shot with the arsenal 2!
Hi Zuilzon, thanks for the comment, glad you enjoyed the video. I think Cody works well in a Clone gunline, he's a great fire support platform.
I'm sure we did roll the the extra black dice, we rolled a rainbow plus one black ?
@@CraftyTerrain It's true, I've been cooking up a list with Cody/Padme/Saber so you can double up dodges on Padme and the tank, then the Tank can borrow dodges from Padme if needed.
You're right for some reason I thought the base gun was rainbow plus 1 black! I think I may have been rolling one too many black die with some of my Barcs, but at least they never do anything that impactful for me XD
@@ZuilzonDTD Hi buddy, that list sounds nice, the direct from Cody will give you order control on the Saber and Padme can give her order to a clone unit with Authoritative, to help set up fire supports.
@@CraftyTerrain Indeed! Plus Padme is a decent fire support target with Pierce 1 and surges for the supporting clone unit to benefit from.
@@ZuilzonDTD Padme can definitely do offensive work, I wait until turn 6 how ever, or a last first situation, so you don't take to much fire in return.
Keep these coming!!! Love those barcs!!😮💨😮💨
Will do buddy, thanks for watching, we appreciate the support 👍
Great report as always!
Cheers buddy, thanks for watching 👍.
Are younguys running the old rules still? Force choke was changed when they updated the points.
Hi buddy, yes this was filmed before the rules changes, when Choke was still good lol 🤣
@CraftyTerrain yeah it's definitely lost some luster with a points increase and a ability nerf...
@@dhflying84 it sure as, I'm not sure you take it anymore. I think I'm taking burst of speed for the 10pts now on most of my Sith.
@CraftyTerrain yeah it's helpful to get in there quick for sure. I just have the worst luck with asajj...she always dies in like 1 or 2 shots for me...just bad luck haha
@@dhflying84 haha, she is soft target and dies easy. She relies on that dodge token and heavy cover to stay alive
12:48 - after removing hits for cover, there was one hit and one crit left. You spent two dodges to cancel, but I don’t think you can dodge a crit. Should have been 1 more wound in ventress. Please correct me if wrong
Hi Tracy, Ventress as outmanoeuvre from her 3 pip command card. This allows you to dodge crits.
Hope this helps and thanks for watching.
@@CraftyTerrain oh I see! thanks. That’s cool
@@tracyedwards8066 No problem, happy to help 😁.
I believe a climb is up OR down, you cant do both.
Hi Zero, do you have a time stamp so I can watch the action again please. I think the new climb rule is a speed one move, up, down or over anything hight one and can be done twice in turn ?
@CraftyTerrain I stand corrected. I've been playing it wrong. If the piece of terrain you're climbing over is shorter than the speed-1 climb during the move then you can climb "through" (as stated in the rulebook) or onto and off of in 1 move.
@@Zeromus5555 No problem, glad we played it correct.
really fun one guys!
Cheers Mike, thank's for we appreciate the support 👍
GG! Love to see these and love these vids.
Thank's mate, glad you enjoyed 🙌
how do b1 with suppression still do 2 actions
Hi, Droid units don't lose actions when suppressed, but can still be panicked 👍
@@CraftyTerrain where dose it say that plz
@@calrosey2424 Page 36 in the RRG, Droid Trooper key word.
How can you dodge crits on ventress without situational awareness???
18:10
Hi buddy, She can choose it from her 3 pip when you Divulge it. It gives her outmanoeuvre. Hope that helps and thanks for watching 👍
Thank you very much! I missed this card totally 😅
@@pawelbanach2185 No problem 👍
I’m surprised you still took choke on maul. I’d rather have saber throw with the new updates
Hi Rayn, this was filmed just before the changes to Choke. Now Choke isn't so great I think I would take burst of speed on Maul. Throw is also an option but it's hard to catch units in the open with the new cover rules.
@@CraftyTerrainwas wondering about that as you choked the rocket heavy when with the new choke rules your opponent gets to choose :)
@@d.diablo3832 yeh, this was filmed just before the change 👍
