I’m trying to figure who this is made for? Considering they released a variety version of your choice. The Larq pitcher is the most complete package with UVA and filter system. But it’s not portable like the bottle ones! The bottle versions breakdown into 4 types: PureVis only has UVA and no filtering system. So you can’t use it in countries where the tap water is unsafe for drinking. Larq Movement has UVA but non-insulated Larq Flip Top has filter system but no UVA Larq Twist Top has none of the above: no filter and UVA system. But comes with the largest size 24oz and 32oz insulated! You get what I’m saying, you can never have a complete system that both included the uva and filter system in your water bottle. I chatted with a representative online about it. He or she say, you can always purchase a separate UVA cap for 80 bucks Canadian without shipping, because it’s interchangeable! Then you will have a filtered and UVAed drinkable water. Talk about corporate greed in a company!
Thanks for the review, you just saved me 100$ :) The fact that it doesn't clean the mouth of the bottle defies the purpose of this (that's probably where there's the highest concentration of bacteria on a bottle. I'll stick to washing my reusable bottle, cause I'd have to wash the LARQ it anyways.
Well I didn’t know I needed an expensive water bottle until I saw this review. Finally have a good gift idea for me! So is the idea that you just don’t have to clean the bottle all the time or can I use it with tap water at say a hotel while traveling and will make it more of a filtered water? And does it taste good like filtered water? Great review! The company should give you a link for a discount to buy here. I
Yeah it’s a really cool water bottle! The UV light will clean the inside of the bottle for you, but you still should wipe down the lip of the bottle every once in a while. You can use it whenever you drink water to make sure there is no bacteria or virus in the water, but it won’t filter out particles like dirt.
Unfortunately, they recently raised their prices due to "Supply Chain Issues". So, I wouldn't be confident in there being any discounts soon. Although eBay is always a good place to look.
Very expensive for only 25oz max If they had a 32oz bottle I would be more inclined to buy. But I have no problem cleaning my Hydroflask every few days, not that difficult. Plus I like my ice. Great review.
Tap water is treated with chlorine and flouride to treat and kill bacteria etc. That being said water filters are designed to filter out heavy metals and this already filtration tech will also filter out bacteria aswell. So what is the parts per million filtration rating on this bottle? Brita is 6PPM and Zero water filter is 0 PPm why doesnt anyone talk about metal ppm ratings with this bottle after filtration? Seems like a bit of a scam tbh

This aged well....... There's a purevis 2 with filter as well as uva maybe look on their website nextime lol

They do have the 32oz but it’s just the regular insulated ones. They called it Twist Top bottle.

Because it’s not filtering it’s purifying. There’s a difference he explains in in the middle of the video.
