'Can get you sick or give you the runs' why not both? 🤷♀️😂 Btw you should move the bottle during the initial sterilisation phase so that the UVc light can reach the water at the bottom. A slow movement of the wrist is all that is needed. My bf bought me the larq movement for me for my birthday and with the amazon gift card that my sister bought for me I have also bought the larq filter cap. They do different jobs. I am still waiting for the filter cap to arrive but after a week of using just the UVC cap I can say that I am impressed. Looking forward to seeing how well the filter cap works. I do hope that they will eventually bring out a 2 in 1 uvc light and nano filter cap in the future so that you dont have to change. But for now, I am just excited for my filter cap to arrive. Great short video, thank you
I saw these on shark tank! A little bit pricy for me but makes sense if you're gonna go to a place with lower water quality. Paying for the convenience
Informative video! I am planning on using both the uv cap and the filter cap together so that I will be able to drink from the tap in indonesia. I think when using them together it will be pretty safe and I will not have to but plastic bottles.
Definitely! I am still waiting for my filter cap to arrive but have the purevis movement and have only used it at home. But can't wait to try out the filter cap too
Hey, great video. Just want to know if anyone knows the lifespan of this bottle? How long until you will have to buy another one because you have charged and used it to an extent? Cheers
Melissa was talking about this bottle a few Sundays ago... found out Jin got one for free at her previous job and it was still unused in its original box 😆
@@Harris-uu2fy ah yes, I didn't check the FAQ since I thought it would be detailed in the description. I'm still sceptical. If UV-C is really that effective, why isn't it used more?
what kind of water am i supposed to use with the purecis cap ? it uses uv light to kill bacteria but it does not filter tap water. so what kind of water i am supposed to pour into the purevis cap bottle ?
This is for protecting you from water with bacteria in water. You can put normal tap water when at home or disinfect clean river water while travelling.
Hey does anyone knows if i can also put a few drops of my dietary supplements in it? Or just pure water? I am not sure if the supplements also get filtered out🙈🙈
This is exactly what I was looking for thinking of getting it for when I travel.
Definitely useful for travel for sure! 👍

Thanks for the info! Hope the filter cap works well too!
I saw this on TV and was thinking of getting one. Glad to know it works
I also saw it on tv! 🤣

A good investment indeed!
Thanks for the great review! Great feedback on the bottles and we'll definitely share this with the team.
Thank you so much!

Combining them will give you the best of both worlds like you said! Hope it's a great trip!

Definitely wish i had that when i was traveling! 😲
It's quite useful indeed!
Great review, definitely buying one
Thanks hope you enjoy it!
Too bad they don't have a two in one feature, filter AND UV light...
I do agree, wish they had this!
It's on Kickstarter now. Delivery from Jul'24 onwards
I just purchased my second Purevis bottle last month.
So it's 2024 and Larq still not replacing an USB-C for a $80 usd UV bottle cap😂
Yeah I do wish they would put USB-C in 😂
They have the new PureVis 2 dropping in May, which will include the filter straw in the lid with the UV, & the usb-c (allegedly)

Hey, I've been using it daily for almost 2 years and I haven't had to replace it yet. It's still going strong.
Just got this! The pink one only came in small 17oz size :( Hope it'll be good enough for meee LOL
It's an amazing bottle! Hope it's enough!

🤣hopefully you can find a good use for it
Does anyone know if it changes the taste of the water?
It does not change the taste of the water
What size bottle are you holding in the video?
The 25 oz bottle
Im sceptical. They don't mention what wavelength of UV-C they're using.
It's listed on the website, 270-275 wavelength

Does it get rid of fluoride?
This bottle does not filter things like flouride out, it only neutralizes bacteria that can harm you
@@hoangpham awwww, DANG IT!

The bottle only kills living bacteria, it does not filter out things put into the water so you should be fine!
Thanks for the quick answer!🙏👍👌
