Dude! Great in depth video! Good stuff!
Thanks man!
At first i thought you weren't going to show the installation of that G clip, but then you showed how it went on the other side of wrist pin
And thats was all that was needed to make this episode complete
Nice video Kalispell
Thanks for that photo of going to the sun road . I love and miss Montana. Thanks mike, much love home skillet...❤️💛💚
Thanks, Charles! The first time I watched that back when editting, I had a mini panic attack 😵, until I seen the second one. I meant to add a caption during the first one says to watch the second, and forgot... Oops! I'm glad you like the GNC photo!
Excellent video, I rebuilt mine last winter down to the crank (not big bore kit) and wish I had this video then! Getting the timing aligned was the biggest pain. That said, I have a small oil leak at the cylinder base gasket so I get to do it all over again in a month. 😂
Looking forward to the ride videos!
Thanks! Sorry to hear about your base gasket!
Great video! I have a bunch of scooters and am thinning the herd right now, but think I will keep an eye out for a c3 to do this and the transmission kit on. Looks like a fun project and thanks for taking the time to document.
Thanks! If you can find a C3, I would recommend picking it up! They’re a blast!💥
Great video as always. It's an interesting design with those little rods moving the valves. The numbers after the kit look great considering the Yamaha 125cc I just sold did 40mph at 15 seconds and topped out just above 50 mph.
Thanks! I can’t wait to tune it better and get even more out of it!
Yoooo! Binge watched all of your Yamaha C3 videos last night and was sad to see no new uploads in a while! Awesome you are back. Picked up a Giggle here in the UK, so been good to see what can be done, and how the whole scoot goes together! Keep it up man.
Also, did you design that radiator cover? Looks great!
Thanks! Life got busy for a bit, but I'm not gone!
Yeah, thanks! I designed and 3D printed it.
Great video, Mike!
Thanks! Glad you liked it!
Awesome video.
Thanks!
Cant wait to hot rod my C3!
You’ll love it!
@@MikesMiniMotors what is the solution for the coolant temp sensor? the stock sensor bottoms out in the casting...
I had to drill into the head through the sensor hole a little bit for clearance. Just be really careful, take your time and don’t drill too deep!
@@MikesMiniMotors i ground down the tip slightly and went to far, it bleeds coolant thru the body of the sensor now lol. i ordered another, im going to try to shim it out with 2 or three of the sealing washers if it seals. Ill let you knowhow it goes. Thanks!
follow up , i double gasketed the CTS, that gave enough room to clear the casting. I wasnt able to use the turning specs you posted however. I have a +25% setting on most rpm ranges with good results. Once the weather breaks a bit more, ill have my wideband on it and dial it in.
Mike, you're a legend for making these! What was the 0-30 with the big bore? Looks like 7ish seconds?
Haha, thanks! I just looked at my Dragy log, and the 0-30mph was exactly 7.00s… Great guess! 😂
