Thanks for sharing your experience & knowledge, gardens, pups & scenery! It’s a beautiful fall season beginning here in Alberta, Canada. Be blessed everyone 🤗🇨🇦
Harvested nettle seed for the first time this year. Dried them in the oven and have been adding a teaspoon to my porridge daily. I'm very impressed at the energy boost it has been giving me! Amazing plant
Hope your week is wonderful. We will be applying to the local rescue centre for a kitten so when we get it it will depend on when they have any but hopefully before Christmas xx
Mabon is just a week away! My absolute favorite time of the year. In Ireland you might say Fómhar instead of Mabon - but I believe the intent is still the same. A great time to celebrate our harvest through the year. 😀❤

Thank you Terri. 💙 Sometimes I think, that when nature brings out extra bountiful plants, that she knows we will be needing those plants in our life soon to be. Happy harvesting! 🎉
Thank you for the video - this is also a great time of year to start planting a winter garden (I live in a zone colder than Ireland and can harvest all winter long!) Cold tolerant plants will grow now and can be picked throughout winter with either mild protection of a plastic hoop house or cold-frames - all you need to do is keep the frost & snow from touching the plants (Broccoli, Kale. carrots, radish, lettuce, etc.). And there are fewer commercials that need to be blocked on sub-stack as well!
Usually it would be summerlike through September and much of October, here in Northern California, but it is feeling quite autumnal here now, too, this year. We even have a little rain predicted. I have been harvesting tomatoes, apples, pears, and figs lately, which I dry or can, or make into lovely desserts (my husband's favourite). My rosemary is flowering, and I plan to distill it for hydrosol (herb water), as well as dry to season food. I am really trying to get my pears picked so I can ripen them to make into pear sauce, or dried fruit. We love hearing what your season brings you in your part of Ireland, and noticing really quite a few similarities, as it turns out! Maybe we have more heat and such for things like tomatoes, but overall your climate seems very mild, comparatively, too.
Here on the west coast we have a mild climate - it is better still on the south and south east but we have a lot of wind coming straight from the ocean so some plants and fruits can be blasted by salt. Lots of berries and fruits usually at this time. xx
I'm growing nettles for the butterflies 🦋 but now I'm going to harvest some of the seeds for my husband. Have a wonderful Sunday. Greetings from Berlin 🌃

Where I live in the Ozarks ,there appears to be an extinction event occurring involving plants and animals. The population here do not appear to discuss or care about it. Says volumes as how far humans have disconnected from nature. Also one of the many reasons I don't associate with them. I am Wicca and if that was widely known here I would face danger, more than I do now

Dia dhuit a Terri cén chaoi a bhfuil tú anois? For my Draoídeacht studies, I want to add an herbal element, even though I don't have space or land upon which I can raise trees or have an herbal garden.
Dia dhuit! Can you have a couple of planters with herbs in, at your back door or front door? Otherwise you could use herbs for ceremony and ritual and could forage for them and dry them. xx
My nutter neighbour has about 50 large Seagulls you could have instead of a cat but I'm not sure they like living by the Sea any longer and not getting their high carb sugar spike bread hit that makes them screech and squawk so head splittingly. The even crazier thing is that all the government councillors, environment agencies & Police support the nutter and view anyone that complains as the problem and guilty of harassing the nutter. This is not my world. It's nutter world, by and for nutters.
The nutters are taking over! I would have thought that 50 seagulls in a domestic area would contravene hygiene regulations. To them you are a seagullphobe!😂😂😂
There are two that grow here - Marsh Woundwort which grows in damp ground and is - Stachys palustris. Hedge Woundwort grows in hedges - although both of them are here in the same kind of terrain - Stachys sylvatica. xx

God bless and look forward to seeing you next week xx😍💚
Brilliant!. I will still be here as well xx😃
Thanks for this!
I've gone to substack and subscribed :)
Brilliant, thanks so much xx
Where I live in the Ozarks ,there appears to be an extinction event occurring involving plants and animals. The population here do not appear to discuss or care about it. Says volumes as how far humans have disconnected from nature. Also one of the many reasons I don't associate with them. I am Wicca and if that was widely known here I would face danger, more than I do now
Merry meet, Mary! I am a Pagan from Tennessee. We have noticed the decline in dandelions this year. They are so important to us!!! Love, love, love this channel...such fantastic information. So sacred!! We must continue to learn and pass this knowledge on. Blessed be! xx
That is sad to hear about. Both the loss and the response. Good luck with all of your planting xx

Ha ha, yes, that's cats for ya! Over here it is believed that you shouldn't get a cat, there's more luck in one choosing you. Xx 😂😂
@@DanusIrishHerbGarden wow I should be rolling in good luck the 2 I have now choose us even in spite of our black lab. They have ruined her reputation. 😊
I'm just wondering Terri. At what time do you get up in the morning to do so many things?
I'm happy I found you.
Blessings to you and Lol.
I love your animals ❤
Blessings to you too Yvonne. I go to bed too late and I get up too late, around 9ish which is crazy because I think the early morning is the best part of the day. Trying to be up and at 'em earlier every day xx
Will there be a way to find out about the herbs and uses for which I have questions on sub stacks? There are many things I have growing that I don’t really have confidence in using . Thank you!
I will be able to go into more details about the herbs that I talk about and for paid subscribers there will be short lessons about herbs and making medicines xx
Terri.. how do i harvest rose hips?
Good gloves and a anti stab vest..lol..
How do you make your rise hip syrup?
Here is a video I made -ruclips.net/video/F8Dwh8EvVyk/видео.html xx
Dia dhuit a Terri cén chaoi a bhfuil tú anois? For my Draoídeacht studies, I want to add an herbal element, even though I don't have space or land upon which I can raise trees or have an herbal garden.
Dia dhuit! Can you have a couple of planters with herbs in, at your back door or front door? Otherwise you could use herbs for ceremony and ritual and could forage for them and dry them. xx
Just catching up. Substack is a good idea I follow a few content creators on that.
It has a lot to offer. Hope to see you there too xx
Does the annual substack fee come out monthly or all at once?
You can chose - you decide what you want to do; have a monthly subscription or an annual one xx
What is the botanical name of wound wort?
There are two that grow here - Marsh Woundwort which grows in damp ground and is - Stachys palustris. Hedge Woundwort grows in hedges - although both of them are here in the same kind of terrain - Stachys sylvatica. xx
How do I contact you? from England.
Lots if love ❤🍅🌻
You can email - its on the website xx
Are you on Rumble?
Yes I am xx
