Today I heard a Native American woman, a basket weaver, say "Baskets are plants", and "Baskets are living things"!
I've long since often said "Wood is trees". Every timber in a house, and every piece of wooden furniture was once a tree!!! 💚
🌳🌿🌲🌿🌳🌲🌿❕️
I adore your videos. Such peace and simple happiness in a stressful world. Thank you ❤
Hope the videos help a little to feel peace and to de-stress xx
Hi Terri and Lol, Have a wonderful Sunday!!! The wife of a guy that is helping with the renovation on the house here was collecting nettle here yesterday... They are coming from Albania , they know a little about plants, knowledge passed from generation to generation!!!! I am so grateful to find you on the web... Blessings!!! Thank you Lol for your filming , I usually can not stand the moving camera; but, you are doing a marvelous job because I do not get dizzy!!! Blessings and more blessings!!!!
Many blessings to you Marie - you are kind to share your Nettles and I am sure that that woman will appreciate it. xx
Good Sunday morning to you, from Texas!
Is there any way I can get some Mullein seeds from you? I use it, daily, and would LOVE to have it growing in my space!
One of my neighbor's cats has a horrible red rash, and she was panthing. I harvested some of my broad- leaf plantain, and told her how to make a tea, to pour on the poor critter. I don't know if it worked for her, yet. I hope so. I have learned so much from you! I keep you lifted, in my prayers.
I am so very grateful for your service to mankind!
Peace
Hope they use the Plantain for the cat. Send me an email and I will try and save some Mullein seeds for you. I have a half dozen plants so seeds should not be a problem. xx
I smelled those roses as you picked them, beautiful! 🌹🌹
You are right, and I make rosewater with them which retains the beautiful scent. xx
Your bonny attire colour co ordinates perfectly with the flora and foliage👏👏👏😄🤣🥳💕💞 You look especially lovely today Terri. x

Tell me about the symbols on your wrist and chest. I’m sure they have deep meaning and look beautiful
The one on my wrist is a spiral and the one on my chest is a triple spiral or triskele. The symbolise the cycle of life, death and rebirth. xx
Danu, you look as beautiful and stunning as your garden. The love and reverence that you have for your garden and plants is very touching, so grateful and appreciative of everything you do.
Thank you so much 😊 that is so kind of you to say xx
Wonderful knowledge; thanks for sharing! Beautiful gardens & beautiful lady & I love your drying house! Blessings to all 🤗💜🇨🇦
I love the feeling of nettle sting.. A bit weird I suppose. But it makes me feel alive. 😊
Beautiful video - sunshine energy - the weather and plants are smiling and happy - thank you for all your interesting and educating information xx🙏🏻🕊️
You re welcome Lizette. I agree, everything is smiling in this lovely sunny weather xx
Beautiful thanks Terri you’re looking very beautiful today also . Sending many Blessings. ❤️🌻🌹☘️
Thanks for my garden fix this week. I went out in my yard and gathered and cleaned up all I could within 20 minutes .. it’s not our time yet to harvest much and it’s been cooler that usual…..without much sun here on the mountain there is only so many things I can grown….and at my age not much hope of having such a marvelous garden such of yours…sometimes watching you in yours I feel like your “old” Nettle 🙁 😂 Still I try to grow what I can… sadly my Mullein didn’t take so well the last 2 years…so this year I’m trying some more shade tolerant plants & focus on what I can. Nonetheless Nothing better than sharing my life with the Plant world. Have a great week Terri!
I will December Snow. Have a good week yourself xx
Hi Terri thanks for the great information have a great week love to you xxx
The white roses have such a distinct scent, sort of gingery. Thanks for the wonderful video!

Thank you. For your instructions!
I have stinging nettles , I cut some last week and they're hanging in my shed drying now .
Wonderful! What a great start. xx
Dear Terri, you always add tips that we might otherwise not know. I don't discard leaves with small creature damage, but I was surprised to learn about the plants extra healthy immune system. I also appreciated the bit on making our own drying racks. Many Green blessings and love to your family and furry boys as always 💜🌱💜
Love your videos! Your dandelion video inspired me to eat a dandelion in my garden, root & leaves. Powey!! My weary legs were cleansed & energied overnight!! Who knew?? My teeth 😬 feel 💪 strong like 🐻 bear!! ☘️ I'm now taking dropper of dandelion tincture for ongoing nutritional value.🍀 Also, put some flowers in olive oil & loving it!!! 💚
Wonderful! xx
🥰
Just got a few onion sacks from the local takeaway. Unpicked the stitching and peeled off the label. Will be stretching and tacking over a frame for drying. Will also use for covering vulnerable veg. I also got hold of large mayo buckets, put holes in bottom and planted tomatoes in them. Did a pyramid system with them and it worked well, using little space. The sacks are great for popping over jars with a band if you do mung beans. Just love your channel Terri, we learn and we give for a better life all round 🙏🏻
Brilliant tips. That's what it is all about. Xx
I love how you asking our plant friends if we can have some of there medicine. 💚I was asking my apple mint permission to take & make ice tea . Ahh good cold tea .
I bet it tasted even better!😀 xx
That was wonderful...
Thank you...❤☺
You are very welcome xx
Great video thanks
You are welcome Violetmoon xx
Good to see you! ❤️☺️🙏
You too xx
Do you know anything about making tinctures with Usnea lichen, I'm wondering if it works with vinegar instead of alcohol, thanks
I would make it with ACV if necessary. xx
What is acv
My husband has a pacemaker and I’m wondering if he can still take hawthorn?
What a beautiful colour red/pink the rose is, just watching i wondered if it had a strong perfume then you go an smell and say it was divine. Ooh and we see inside the herb house once more i still love it
I love Rosa rugosa for the scent and because the flowers are large and robust and rose plants just pop up xx
Beautiful. Thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it xx
Good morning Terri and Lol from California! I just love your videos and I'm enjoying your books!! Thanks for all the knowledge you share 😊
You are so welcome - glad to hear you are enjoying both xx
Good Morning Terri☀️🌱
Thank you!! Everything looks beautiful, full of life🕊.
Morning Barbara - everything is full of life - can hardly get to the poly tunnel anymore! The last two to three weeks of good sunny weather has sent everything into a growth overdrive!😂
Thank you for all of your wisdom. I really appreciated the drying information ❤
No bother at all xx
Why not let them be in the sun to dry? Thanks for lovely videos.
The sun can be too harsh and bleach them so best dry them in the shade. xx

Namaste dear friend, I dry herbs when possible slowly getting back to salves and teas, thank you so much for sharing. I use rack, cooking sheets with paper towells or cheese cloth mainly.

Lovely day in the garden..
I'm sitting in my tiny house staying out of the rain enjoying your video.

Glad to hear we lifted your mood. Blessings to you xx
Lovely video I enjoyed it thank you
Glad to hear that Gary xx
my gran always told me to never use dried plant when making medicine. Only tea.
She used to say it was a waste of time, energy, and plant matter- for less than half of the medicinal properties.
that being said, I absolutely love your channel. Such beautiful gardens!
Very helpful info, Terri. Thank you.
Thanks Terri 😊 you ❤ have a fabulous week too
I'm going to be having a busy week!! Thanks Empress hope your week is good too xx

Tesco's new fruit and veg draw bags are great for drying out herds and wild plants. I think they cost 30p a bag, well worth it. Thanks for sharing your expertise ❤
Thanks for the tip! xx
I ALREADY have wanted to move to Ireland or Scotland, your videos make it Worse!😂 TY for showing me how to properly dead head roses 😖🤦🏻♀️ I feel like a twat. I'm in the desert in Colorado & have an HOA that keeps me from having a lot of plants😢 But I'm planting what i can & am utilizing the deck. You are inspiring me to plant & teaching me things I've forgotten (brain damage)

Hi Terri, have you heard of Meadow Arnica, (Arnica chamissonis), we have had great luck with it here in Connecticut, USA. We also can't grow the mountain arnica due to our low elevation.
Everything about the videos is beautiful.. makes my heart happy... Please tell me the name of the music played..can I buy it ?
Thank you ♡♡♡
So glad to hear you like the music and thank you for the compliment. The music is by myself (Terri's husband) and I have been planning to release an album of instrumentals used in our films for a couple of years. Before the end of this one... !
Loving your videos Terri ❤ Learning heaps 😊! Thank you for sharing your beautiful garden and knowledge, sending love from Australia, Maria
So glad to hear that you are enjoying the videos and learning something from them. Love to you in Australia xx
Hi Danu this morning in awful stomach cramps I found your channel , massive thanks for your wise advice so grateful. Barbs.
Hello Barbs! WElcome! xx
Perfect timing! Have just discovered pretty starflowered chickweed and was pondering the harvesting and drying. Our plantain looks different here in Quebec... shorter and more oval leaves but just as effective. Lovely visit once again. Thank you Terri!
You have what's called Broadleaf Plantain, she has Narrow Leaf. Sams same tho
Thank you again, Terri and Lol. Nettle is my favourite 'weed'. I've been 'gifted' with a patch of nettle in my garden, for years now. I've already enjoyed a Spring nettle soup, and fresh teas. I truly feel blessed. Namaste, from Canada.
Namaste to you - and you are very blessed xxx

All Good Medicine!
Most definitely xx
Gosh Terri , those Roses are looking so DIVINE and I can almost smell them in my Heart all the way down in New Zealand ..imagining inhaling deeply . Loved seeing how much growth there is in Your beautiful Garden . The Hawthorn is magnificent , will keep an eye out to see if there is many growing down here next spring x Oh those Lupens are incredible! I did not know that about the sweet Little Daisy aka Eye of Newt . There is a Naive plant here called Kawa Kawa which is a great blood purifier , would healer and can be used in cooking for its peppery flavour . Apparently in Maori healing the best leaves to pick are the ones the Bugs have nibbled because it shows the Plant is at it's peak Power wise .
Interesting! X
I love watching your video's. I sustained a chemical brain injury and I'm trying to heal on so many levels. Watching your videos distracts me from a myriad of symptoms. I cry because I miss being able to do so many things that i loved. You bring me inspiration. Much love.
God bless you🎆🌄🌱
The sword irises are so lovely. I have the same in my yard but I have to wait some more weeks. Still have frosty nights in my place. The young nettles gave my knees relief, they are so wonderful. Funny I always forget to take my gloves whenever I pick nettles. 😅😊😂 Yes, picking and foraging is not just taking. I learned to ask respectfully when I was small. 🎉 Cheers from 🇧🇻🌲
Nettles are one of the best xx
Thank you very much
Thank you Danu, for the very useful explanation on herb drying ❤
You're welcome Adriana xx
Would you share with me what this old gal here can take for more pep in my step and some detox remedy's?
I have dandelion tea, but I'm sure you have some ideas .
Thank you ♥️
You don't look old to me, so first of all stop thinking of yourself and describing yourself that way. Tell me you are full of pep and want to remain that way. Eat well - no processed rubbish and use herbs such as Dandelion and Yellow Dock. Research for yourself and take your life and health into your own hands xx
I love your videos and knowledge of herbs.
So glad you are enjoying the videos xx
Good day! Glad to see you this morning. My roses and other plants aren't as far along as yours - be a few more weeks. I can't wait! Very windy here last few days and we need a good soaking rain - hope you are getting those misty mornings I remember from Ireland. Have a great week and look forward to your next Sunday video. Many Blessings
Not the last couple of weeks! Bright and hot and sunny with bright blue skies, no mist in sight. Hope you wind dies down soon xx Blessings!
So worth the wait🌿thank you for this. I always learn something🌻
I was absolutely fascinated thank uou 😊
Glad you enjoyed it! xx
Love this video and your Lupines are lovely too!
Thanks Donna - they are suffering a bit now with the heat but otherwise are doing well xx
so inspiring, I love your videos. Nettles dried and ground also make a wonderful natural colorant for soap making.
Yes - you can be incredibly creative with plants xx
Greetings from Nor Cal! I’ve just discovered your videos and love them! They’re so inspiring! I’m going to start looking for Dandelions and dry my roses! I also need to harvest my comfrey that’s growing wild in my yard!🌱☀️🦋💕
Welcome Sunnie - the Dandelions will be back at the beginning of Autumn . Enjoy your Rose and Comfrey xx
Where are you from in Nor Cal? I was born in Chico and raised there and in Sacramento. My parents are in Oroville now and I have a cousin in Red Bluff. Missing home now! 😂❤
Thank you for the film Terri - I picked some hawthorn and wild raspberry leaves today for drying . Nature is abundant ❤
She really is - you've reminded me about the Raspberry leaves, thanks! xx
A beautiful summer day! Your garden is so lush and abundant. I have two rugosa roses and the scent is heavenly. I’m harvesting oregano and thyme and mint today. Your dogs are very joyful running along. Thank you Terri.🐇🇨🇦
Lovely to think of people all over the place harvesting their herbs and smelling the wonderful aromas xx
Thank you for the lovely video, always a treat to see you and listen to you. Thanks for sharing👋🥰👋
You are so kind Lynda - thanks for watching xx
You are right about the Hawthorn, here in Northumberland, I have never seen so much blossom. Have a lovely day. xx
Make the most of it - it makes a delicious tea as well xx
Thank you Terri! Everything looks so beautiful! That space you have for drying is so beautiful, love the tree tapestry. Blessings to you and thanks again for sharing your wisdom.
Hi Karen - thanks for watching and you are very welcome as always xx
My green thumb only works with cannabis and opium poppies ... I cant seem to grow anything else.
Everyone round to yours😂😂😂
Good skills🤣🤣🤣💞
I had a small accident last night when I was doing dishes. A large bamboo splinter from a spoon rest in my kitchen went under my thumb nail. OUCH!!I Thankfully, I recently saw lovely plantain growing just outside my garden gate. So even though it was dark, I knew exactly where to go for help. I made a poultice and held it there overnight with a bandage. This morning you can clearly see where the bamboo splinter went in but now it’s gone. I think it came out when I pulled my hand back at the moment of impact. It’s sore but nothing like I might have expected. And the wound looks good. Thank you, Terri.
Good old Plantain to the rescue again! And clever you for thinking to apply him xx
I use Mullein for lung health. Can you do a film about plant proteins? I found out 30 years ago that I am allergic to echinacea because it has the same plant protein as golden rod, so when i would ingest it I would start wheezing. My college friend's Mom was an herbal Dr. He had asthma as a child and so he gave me advice to stop using echinacea and start using Mullein...and it worked...that and prayers...thankyou Terri. I enjoy the wealth of information you share to us❤ God bless you!🌹
God Bless! Many people report Mullein vastly improves their asthma xx
