being a photographer in vegas certainly has its challenges. the lighting changes on a whim, the heat can be unbearable at times and the city itself can have a very artificial feel to it but just like every other city it does have its charms here and there. great shots btw i think you handled the harsh light really well. my favorite shot has to be at 1:33
Snagged some CineStill 400D from the local camera shop and can't wait to run it through an old point & shoot. Was just in Vegas - such a great place to shoot. Even midday obviously!
I love 800T in overcast, and find it to be pretty underrated in full sun. I don't think I've tried it in *this* much sun, but that was great. Thank you for sharing!
This video was super informative, and you have fantastic shots, as well. I've been shooting with Cinestill 800T for all my daytime journeys, and the results hit precisely what I see in my mind's eye. Thank you.
I’ve liked 800t during the day here in California. At night it’s become so typical to look for some good neon…but during the day it’s easier to just treat It like any other roll.
I was just there on a Friday early afternoon....it doesn't get any better TBH. Lots to shoot though, and I agree with that horrible building behind the pink shoe, what an eyesore! Love the pictures, can't believe I'm just now finding your channel.
Bro... your videos are therapeutic, relatable, chill, quirky and really informative. I just am in love with your work. Keep up the good work ma'am. Your building this channel form the ground up and I for one is very excited to see you prosper. Also you're wayyyy too cute.. Thanks for existing!
This is the first video of yours I’ve come across. I absolutely love your style and personality. It’s fun and very entertaining. I subbed and I’m very excited to see what is in store! Keep up the good work!
Wonder what would happen if you pulled the film what would be the colour cast would be. I do love Lomochrome Purple. Shooting 800T in daylight is pretty cool.
Uugh, this video. One big relaxed vibe. Died a little at "Why are you here!?" + delay effect 😝 Just finished a Fuji Pro 400H, only one left in the fridge 😩 excited to see the results though!
Taylorrr, it’s crazy when I think about your first appearance at Moment and seeing you now, wow! You’ve come a long way 😎 sick shots as always, I’m really loving your style and ideas 💡📸
Very fun and informative video! You have instantly become one of my fav photography youtubers. I wonder what a movie shot on this film with similar lighting would feel like. For some reason the colours really give me 2000s album cover vibes.
Love it 😊 I shoot only Cinestill800t on my SLR at night but this pumped me up to shoot more during the day…..but with Portra400 in my point and shoot Good thing cinestill came out with 400D 🤩 This video is easily rewatchable and I’m excited for more of your videos 🤩
Yo these videos are so sick, I honestly love the format and the vibes are just chill Dont stop !! Really informative and very helpful you talking to us about your process.
Very cool video! Really interesting to see the results. Also really dig the style of the video, excited to see what you make next. Keep up the good work!
I LOOOOOOOOOVE CINESTILL 800 T That’s my favorite film stock…unless the new 400D takes its place. AMAZING VIDEO PHOTOS AND VIBE! Can’t wait for the next video! Glad to see the Contax still alive and well 🙏🏼
One question, which is kind of hard to find an answer for. I got an old camera witha maxim 100 iso setting on it, and i wish to use it with this film. How can that be possible? Thank you.
What kind of camera do you have? Is it an slr or a small point-and-shoot? On analog cameras the iso settings are only used for the built in lightmeter. If you have a slr then you can shoot any 35film you like in manual mode and use a phone app like myLightMeter to calculate the best exposure. If your camera won’t allow manual mode then you have to find a laboratory that will pull the film (for more details search for push film / pull film) otherwise an iso800 will be 3stops overexposed using iso100 settings.
I accidentally discovered your channel and it was a happy accident because I have been wanting to find it for a long time! Thanks for the amazing film colors and awesome videos. Your charisma is mesmerizing ;)
I love the colors in these pics, especially the blues!! But, they were all pretty punchy. I think the quality of the light in Vegas hit it off with the bluish cast you get with color T films in daylight. What spun me out was the shot of the building facade at 1:33. A great play of geometry, color and light!!
I love the colors! Reminds me a bit like the Portra 800.
I love 800t in daylight. The first roll I shot with it was midday, as I too was curious about the results. Your shots are incredible :)
being a photographer in vegas certainly has its challenges. the lighting changes on a whim, the heat can be unbearable at times and the city itself can have a very artificial feel to it but just like every other city it does have its charms here and there. great shots btw i think you handled the harsh light really well. my favorite shot has to be at 1:33
Them grains are just *chef's kiss.* Mix in the different colors from the cinestill 800t and its making me wanna act up 😩
ACT A FOOL

really insightful/helpful when you go into detail about what films you’re shooting and why/how
Watching this for a second time. Great job Taylor!
Oh my word. That’s the highest compliment!!!!
I love 800T in overcast, and find it to be pretty underrated in full sun. I don't think I've tried it in *this* much sun, but that was great. Thank you for sharing!
Thank YOU for watching!! 🥲
Now I definitely want to shoot 800T during the day!! Love Vegas!! Want to go back and visit sometime~
This video was super informative, and you have fantastic shots, as well. I've been shooting with Cinestill 800T for all my daytime journeys, and the results hit precisely what I see in my mind's eye. Thank you.
I totally love the colors that film produced in daylight. I'm definitely going to try it with my film cameras (once I find batteries)
I’ve liked 800t during the day here in California. At night it’s become so typical to look for some good neon…but during the day it’s easier to just treat It like any other roll.
love your works and testing in daylight for 800T
These turned out pretty great! I have a roll of 800t in my camera right now so I might need to snap a few daytime shots and see how they turn out!
Why not?!?!?!
Taylor my gosh the absolute STRIDE you have already hit with these videos is immaculate. So stoked on this channel and all that is to come!
Wow. Thank you 😭😭 that’s really really nice
I was just there on a Friday early afternoon....it doesn't get any better TBH. Lots to shoot though, and I agree with that horrible building behind the pink shoe, what an eyesore! Love the pictures, can't believe I'm just now finding your channel.
You're seriously the coolest, cutest and bestest. So happy to be following this new chapter. Cheers to you Taylor - xx Lauren
Very useful, just got a roll of this myself and great to see it tested in different conditions

This is such a cool way to be creative, I love how the photo's looks plastic, great one graincheck !
Definitely plan on shooting in Las Vegas some time
Dude! This video has me so hype to go on my road trip to Vegas tomorrow and shoot some film!
YEESSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!
Those colours really work well in that setting. Nice work.
This is the first video of yours I’ve come across. I absolutely love your style and personality. It’s fun and very entertaining. I subbed and I’m very excited to see what is in store! Keep up the good work!

really digging the title screen shot and font, great match
I just found your channel yesterday and have been watching your videos non stop.
So glad you’re here ⚡️
post more videos!!! I got through all of em too fast 😩
try it with a 85b filter!
Daytime is my favorite time to shoot 800t. No filter, shot at 400 and 3200 and it's just amazing. Great video!
Amazing!!
Hidden Light is great. I started using them when I lived in Flagstaff.
1:59 you can actually see the red halo effect around the bright edge of that building in the back, so freaking awesome
Uugh, this video. One big relaxed vibe.
Died a little at "Why are you here!?" + delay effect 😝
Just finished a Fuji Pro 400H, only one left in the fridge 😩 excited to see the results though!
I love the last part. Great content, and great personality!
❤️🔥⚡️
The vibe of this photo is so good 🤘🏻
Love this video! I real like the colors in your shots. It’s kinda surreal and like you entered an alternative dimension of downtown Vegas!

Ooof, I love that! Huge inspiration right there 🤌🏻
Cinestill 800t is respooled Kodak Vision3 500t with the remjet removed. There's many famous movies shot on the vision3 films.
I absolutely love your personality.
Very funny opening line! I loved it.
Came here after the sunny sixteen episode where you mentioned wanting to shoot this. Great stuff!
TA DA! 🪄 thanks for being here!
Love the results, love the video, love your style.
What a great found your YT channel. First video of yours I see. I like the content . Cheers ✌
I really enjoy how cool the white balance is in bright sunlight! Way to be a rebel! :-)
You’re…hilarious! And refreshing. Love the photos! Subbed!
DAWWWW! Welcome ⚡️
Nice job leaving the filter off .. I always wondered what it looks like in full sun, blue sky and shadows going blue and magenta ..
If you enjoy the mid-century look, check out Wildwood in New Jersey! So many vintage & photogenic motels still in business today.
I swear you are GOD TIER!!! Just an amazing human overall!!! Keep killin it Tay ☺️☺️☺️
Wow. What. This is insanely nice. Thank you!!
Grain check 🙏 Love the vibes
I always do the walking the same route on your way back, specially when the light is low so you get the backlight and the front light perspectives
YES YES YES!!!!! You get it 🤌🏻
Wondering what the intro song is? 🤨
Las Vegas by Tigers in the Sky :)
you're so cool!! thanks for the Video!! love shooting OV!!
This is awesome Taylor, keep them coming.
🚀
I believe that the blue dominance comes from the scanning or inversion process.
cool stuff dude; i was about to say you betta check ya grain before you...but then i caught myself; nice video!
Beautiful results!
I love your photos 😍😍
Aw, thank you!
Great to see you have your own channel now. Congrats!.
Thank you! Welcome :)
Even though I know that sound clip is coming I've laughed every time you've taken a grain check. So good.
Hahahaha yes!!!! 🎯
I love Cinestill in the daylight!!!
Really loving that look! Just look at those suddenly neon(!) doors at 3:20
So cool, right??
You’re the best Taylor
What exposure settings did you use? If you remember haha
Ok, the parking structure was a total banger.
6:47 gravel check, awesome vid as usual Taylor

It looks good. What issue?
Try it midday but with an orange filter to “balance” the color!
Already mentioned at 4:20. Blaze it

Will do!! ✨
Very cool video! Really interesting to see the results. Also really dig the style of the video, excited to see what you make next. Keep up the good work!
The one with the Ferguson sign is so interesting, it's trying to be warm and cold at the same time that's sick
I found so many scans to be like that!!! On some, I would push it in post in a certain direction but some just have a kind of their own
@@graincheck amazing, going outside right now to try it!
Oops mind*
superb colors like your eyes
I LOOOOOOOOOVE CINESTILL 800 T
That’s my favorite film stock…unless the new 400D takes its place. AMAZING VIDEO PHOTOS AND VIBE! Can’t wait for the next video! Glad to see the Contax still alive and well 🙏🏼
FIRST 20 SECONDS ARE AMAZING 😂✨
CONTAX G2 SO ALIVE AND SO WELL!!!! Thanks for the sweet comment. Really appreciate it. Also 400D FTW

Film communities got your back…you deserve your flowers
Now we play the waiting game come July #400D 💪🏼
This is amazing!!!
The intro is super cool
Did you shoot this at box speed or at lower to add that extra character? Love the examples!

Your charisma is mesmerizing ;)
Aw, that’s a huge compliment!! Thanks so much. Welcome :)
First!!!! Haha - but it's great hearing your intention and experimentation behind using 800T in daylight. The results are so surreal
Haha ILY JOSHUA
T = Tungsten, You should use the 85b filter during the day.
I talked about this a bit in the video :) I chose not to use one!
Awesome video and scans are on point!
Thank you!!!
did you primarily stay on freemont? im planning a trip to go shoot film in vegas and my main focus is to find the old abandoned spots. Help? lol
This is my first time watching a video from her and im in love with her personality lmao!
Welcome lol
Love the tones on the Cinestill! Chicken McNuggets are the best!
YOU GET IT
I'm curious as to how Cinestill's new film stock (400 dynamic) will look. Great photos btw!
I. Cannot. Wait. To. Try. It.

Thank you for watching!! I couldn’t agree more about the blues..so cool, right?
Blue's my favourite colour, so I noticed that immediately :)
Watching this video reminds me that photography is about having fun and being creative 🙂
YES! YES! YES!
The parking building!!!!!!!!! ahhhh
