Got into film first between 2000-2006 then went to digital. Until this year! I dug out my Polaroids, then Konica C35 EF, then I got in eBay and now I've got a Fujica GW690 😆
You know, I just stumbled upon your channel one day, and I couldn't be more happy about that. I mean yeah I love William and grainy days etc but you just give off a genuine and happy vibe that rubs off on people. You are fantastic.

The dude from the darkroom was shooting with An FM3A, I am biased since it's a special camera to me but I feel like seeing someone shoot with it instantly makes them more legitimate in my opinion.
You are having way too much fun! It's how I do photography! No art crap, no gstaalt, simple frame and shoot! The profound thinkers, are not to be copied! Bravo! many more happy shoots!

I just found your film vlog through Caleb and Jason, it's cool all of you are doing this in California and making your own community. I wish we had the same sort of film spirit here in Australia this regularly. The ground glass on that 8x10 camera weirds me out with everything being upside down. I mean, on my Mamiya Universal at least if the ground glass back is on everything is still right side up. It's a bit like when I picked up a friends Mamiya TLR and everything was horizontally opposed... Left is right... right is left... up is down... I'm not coordinated enough to do that yet...

I have been watching YT videos of film photographers and it ignited my interest in film photography. It was 10 years ago since I shot film before that. Then, the other day, I looked at my film camera collection and it made me sad that I can only take a T2 to travel with me. It was because it is super compact. I have pentax 67ii, ga645, mamiya 645 and another pentax 67. It just made me depressed also realizing that all the YT film photography videos I am watching have a lot of similarities in them, after that I put 3 of my film cameras up on ebay.
New sub here, this legit feels like you're bringing us along on the trip together XD I hope to go on a lil film trip like this someday with a bunch of friends! Love from Singapore

Question 🙋♂️ I have a canon Roa rebel G ! And it’s my first time shooting film - this camera allows me to change the aperture and iso - what would you say is the best setting to shoot in some nice sunny weather ? And also night time ?

Right there with you at 56! Still have the Nikon FE2 I bought in 85. Switched to digital in 2004, now back at it!
