I’m reading a book by Robert Sellers called What Fresh Lunacy is This? great book about Ollie and it is great book but the further I get into it it is becoming very dark with his drinking. He was in the running the James Bond, On His Majesty’s Service, but they couldn’t risk Ollie because he was so unreliable with drinking all the time so they chose George Lazemby who was terrible as James Bond. Read the book it will open your eyes about Ollie. The scar on the left side of his face was caused when he got in a fight in a pub when a man glasses his face. His second home was the pub. Shame he was a great actor, always knew his lines and he was terribly shy😢
