I'm now imaging a group of tribespeople about to attack the colony, and as Specs greets them she shouts that. The tribespeople turn to the side to see Coko opening the door and just saying "Get them..." as a herd of bear charge out and swarm the tribespeople
I love how everyone has normal ish fantasy names except for the two animal "Patriarchs" who are name like the villains of a scifi and fantasy story. Dr Thunder and Shadowmage, may your lineages be healthy and firtile XD
One mod I would recommend is the winterized plate armor. Once you start working towards plate it is a nice option and I feel it is well balanced needing both fur and metal to make it
Imagine being that shuttle pilot, coming back to pick up the crazy tribespeople that somehow you have to ferry around and they start stuffing your shuttle full of exotic and dead animals, not saying a thing whilst doing so
This series is so entertaining. I even started the fan fiction again, this time with a screen reader :D It is so much fun listening to it. I'm looking forward to enjoy more episodes of your playthrough and more chapters to read.
Talking about the archonexus quest, do you guys think we'll change our ideology to be more futuristic each time? (First time we are tribal tree worshippers, then modern human primacy, then futuristic transhumanist for the final one) Could be a fun idea
Might be misremembering (only did it once) but I think you need to be futurist/transhumanist/spacer tech in order to complete the archonexus quest each time
the whole thing with Tina being MAD fertile reminds me of one of my friend's runs on stream, she had a goat named Dom who, over the course of her goat life, single-handedly (-hoofedly?) popped out something like 2000 goat kids. She was *constantly* pregnant, even at the age where she had severe dementia and cataracts in both eyes. We (the stream audience) declared goats to be unofficially sacred, and we weren't allowed to kill them, only sell "to good homes." That one goat supported the *entire base* financially for like 20 in-game years. Later, my friend did make a new religion that worshipped Dom the Goat, centered around both ranching and raising healthy (human) kids. Good stuff.
That complex exploration was honestly pretty cool with the fire containment on the side. Looking forward to more greatbows, and to the battle bears. Really liking how different this playthrough is compared to the usual - the environment is still tough but it's no longer a race to nullify it with technology, instead you just build a tribal colony and slowly develop upwards. Feels really nice. Who knows, maybe we'll eventually have a tribal city with stonehenges and stuff.
One thing I wanted to note is that when hunting animals who flee from you, it is better to go between map edge and them and then shoot. They will run towards your camp instead of leaving map.
Rimworld is such a fitting game for you. There are many reasons but one of them is the fact that it's random. It kind of feels lame when you're playing other games and to achieve full completion you find out what is going to happen in the game before playing through it. Especially on the mutant game there were pretty cool situations that felt like letdowns since you knew exactly what was going to happen. But you do you of course, no one can never completely satisfy everybody
Wondering: if the entire base is walled in, could Pete have the muffalo graze without building a fence at all? Or will the deep water not act as a barrier? Might be better than all the time it takes to feed them kibble. And if they only need handling for shearing and caravaning, and their sleeping spots are near the base, wouldn’t it not really be a traveling issue for the pawns who handle them?
Anyone else say the introductory words with pete? "Hey there and welcome back to Rimworld, my name is Pete, and today we complete episode ## in our ... "
Imagine youre a pilot from an advanced civilization sent to give some tribespeople a ride to an ancient complex. Youre all set to take them back and they show up with three dead rhino, a dead megasloth, and a dead wolf that they want in the shuttle with them.
Vladamia and Dr. Thunder are the perfect names for the bears. 🤣🤣 Bearskin-clad murder cults with pet attack bears...can this series get any more awesome?
many of my playthroughs used the mods Arcane technology - prevents use of tech from outside your tech level tech level advancing - self explanatory but lets you progress through the levels of tech in various ways used these mods to lock me into tribal until i researched guns
Just FYI if you've lost your sense of smell due to COVID. Something called "Olfactory training" can be used, basically you get a bunch of things that have a strong smell, and that also smell different, and smell them a few times per day. You can do it with things like scented candles, essential oils etc. You can also get "olfactory training kits" online. It's been shown to cause a faster and more complete recovery of smell then without. Once your sense of smell starts to come back, you can also start doing it with regular food and drink.
some of the best loot to be found in these ancient structures is the carpet. If you remove the flooring in these carpeted room you get a metric farkton of cloth! that's why you need a pawn with very good construction (12+?) to dismantle the unstable fuel cells before they explode. A little bomb defusing tension, anyone?
Day 15 Asking Pete to please showcase a custom ideology preset for the Cambiar (extreme ice sheet) and/or SteakHouse (extreme desert) play throughs just for fun. Perhaps at the end of the video. Reddini slaying the rat as it self-tames is such a lucky/unlucky set of events for the rat. The creature offering its servitude for its life but being denied without a spare thought.
Aussie PeteComplete fan here, do any of you guys know how we can get around the Australian Rimworld ban on Steam? The Classification Board is out of line again.

The three scariest words in Rimworld are about to become, "Release the Bears!"
I'm now imaging a group of tribespeople about to attack the colony, and as Specs greets them she shouts that. The tribespeople turn to the side to see Coko opening the door and just saying "Get them..." as a herd of bear charge out and swarm the tribespeople
Pretty sure those words are Triple rocket launcher.
At least in vanilla
That's nothing to "ate without table"
I love how everyone has normal ish fantasy names except for the two animal "Patriarchs" who are name like the villains of a scifi and fantasy story. Dr Thunder and Shadowmage, may your lineages be healthy and firtile XD
One mod I would recommend is the winterized plate armor. Once you start working towards plate it is a nice option and I feel it is well balanced needing both fur and metal to make it
Seems only fair considering that putting fur inside of metal armor has been a thing for forever
Thank you Fatty, for your kin continue to provide sustenance. Rest in peace.
i much more enjoy watching pete play than actually playing it.
Dr. Thunder will father many Stormbears. Also, I feel like the colony has evolved. Went from one Epoch to the next.
I didn't know Thor got a PHD... 🤣
@@CARILYNF Storm bears in training. They can barely haul at this point.
@@CARILYNF something like that 😂. One of them is named Dr. Thunder which is where the storm bear thing came from.
Weaponized bears living on human flesh.
What could go wrong!
I don't know, something amazing, I guess.
I think Dr Thunder will unleash his powers on the puny enemies very soon and I am exited to witness it
"...but the outside temperatures are also pretty relentless right now..." -23 C....
Me as a Canadian: "oh, you mean thuesday?"
You mean what
@@MADeline4223 Bro's from an alternate timeline.
Finally using humans as food!
Cambiar would almost be proud.
It was never a matter of if, only when.
It's the way of the Rim!
Imagine being that shuttle pilot, coming back to pick up the crazy tribespeople that somehow you have to ferry around and they start stuffing your shuttle full of exotic and dead animals, not saying a thing whilst doing so
This actually happens in Papua New Guinea where mountain tribes fly around in tiny planes with their pigs
12:21 "So, things might a little *heated* in a moment" I see what you did there. Nice one! :D
I am so much looking forward to the fanart that will sprout from having attack bears in the colony :D

Loving this series!! As Rimworld is my #1 most played game ever, but I don't yet have Ideology, I'm living vicariously through the Cult of Jingz
I don't even have the base game.
Waiting for a bigger Steam sale discount than 10%... 😆
@@PerfectAlibi1 You may be waiting a while, but it's worth every penny!
So many variations you can play...
@@PerfectAlibi1 Unfortunately Tynan doesn't believe in sales. Being a libertarian, he believes in the moral worth of the wealthy. Gross dude.

Did someone say Bloodthirsty Bear Cavalry??? Yes please!
Enjoy your holiday Pete.
Using Go Frenzy to dash that Luciferium was novel enough, but using the shuttle to cargo-load tonnes of animals was truly inspired
A bear army will be an awesome addition

Let’s gooo a rimworld vid on my birthday
You probably already know this but you can have a pawn run in and deconstruct the unstable fuel cells before they blow up
I just wanted to say, all your rimworld series are awesome can't wait for the next episode
We do not mind the length of your videos. Your content is absolutely fantastic.
One thing I wanted to note is that when hunting animals who flee from you, it is better to go between map edge and them and then shoot. They will run towards your camp instead of leaving map.
Wow! That was a frenetic episode. So much happened.
I'm very excited to see you explore using animals offensively!! Especially something like grizzlies!!
GLORY TO OUR LORD AND SAVIOR, PETER THE COMPLETE!
Has it only been 5 days? Man, I can't wait for the next episode
Yet again awesome episode! Thank you sir.
Ah, so long
I love ur vids, I'm glad they r back!
Eager for episode 16!
Took keeps insisting on having lunch in the most uncomfortable places.
Hunting parties should become a staple of the colony
I am imagining a group of cold bog savages seeing a Rino for the first time.
Love these

The perfect end to a week: a Pete complete video
it could be cool for pete to install the mount mod so that the colonists can ride the bears into battle, that would be awesome
Vladamia and Dr. Thunder are the perfect names for the bears. 🤣🤣
Bearskin-clad murder cults with pet attack bears...can this series get any more awesome?
many of my playthroughs used the mods

used these mods to lock me into tribal until i researched guns
It will never not be funny to me that a single colonist can carry things like a Rhino, Megaspider or large altars.
Well played Pete!
Cry "Thunder" and release the bears of war.
Once you have determined how many adult muffalos you'd want, I'd like to suggest the auto-slaughter option, especially during the winter months.
Buying bears was such a great idea!
Nice episode
8:02 - "Big rats there. Me crush with club."

Dr Thunder is an awesome name for a bear!
[Christopher Walken voice] BEARS!!
Enjoy your holiday :)
Have a good holiday!
The bestselling point of these series, is clearly Pete
Dr. Thunder, Warbear.
Yes! A pack of hauling and manhunting bears is the perfect addition to the colony! Also, RIP to that self taming rat, lolol. What are the odds?
With Randy at the helm, damn near 100%
This is definitely what I need for stress relief! :DDDDDD
Dr. Thunder the bear reminds me of Volibear somehow.

Can't wait to see the bear army
Hey Pete, I dont know if it will help you, but I always try to deconstruct the fuel nodes. More often than not will that prevent them from blowing up.
missed a golden opportunity to call this episode "Bear with me"
Bear meat, bear pets, bear leather, bear armor, incoming bear cub. Bear!
I feel I need to point out that "Decimate" means to remove 1/10th of something. So if I were to decimate my bank account, I'd only take out 10$.
Nice

yep
Dr Thunder the bear.
Will the child be Bulk Bogan?
I cannot imagine riding with three dead rhinos. It is impossible for me to imagine. Damn, are they poachers?
Hi, another Pete! I just had to comment that we are getting mixed up by some, you and I! I wouldn't really agree, but some say we sound a lot alike :D
Pete the storyteller!
Lot of fun things today, I like the liberal use of that shuttle to ferry over several corpses while you had it XD
Enjoy your holiday! ^^
Bears and Trees. What a cult.
I believe you can dismantle unstable fuel cells without it detonating.
Haha .. I know you won't but you should totally install the giddyup mods so you can ride the bears into combat.
Pete Complete!
My beautiful boy!
hype hype hype
New Video!!!
Start butchering the excess muffalo, that is one of the best reasons to have a ranch in Rimworld anyway
If you disarm the unestable cell It wont explote
My name is Pete and today we complete

Fatty McCool will live on forever.
May I suggest some mod are giddyup mod for the animals
Vladamia….yes. We can hear the Russian footsteps approaching.
Sir Pete. Can you make walkthrough for South Park: The Fractured but Whole and all of its DLC?
Honestly, would be cool to install a mount mod so that the cultists can eventually ride warbears into battle. Would fit the aesthetic nicely.
i reccomend the Mod ... Metal do not burn!
and yes its exactly what it is titled.
i mean ... a Steel-Wall burning ? really ?
Steel got a meltingpoint of around 3540°C ... it shouldnt be able to ignite
Mining electrical components out of a stone mountain tho, is extremely legit
When is it finally time to milk the Muffalo?
I love how we started the episode with no food and ended the episode with a large stock of boar meat and a big pile of fresh animals. Id call that some nice progress!
Give the Muffalos more space, pls! :(
