    i have always used isopon p38 zinc primer for fully priming panels from the gun but i use primers from the can to protect bare metal once ive repaired it so this outcome will be interesting.

    The Halfords weld thru May have some zinc in it to conduct electricity which may give some sacrificial corrosion protection as aside effect

    looking forward to the results. if possible could you do a test piece with 2k primer , the one with hardner. will be interesting to see if the extra price and hassle mixing is worth it

    just got some 2k epoxy primer Dave, that's the one iv been told to use, just got a mk1 myself to restore, im in pembrokeshire ,cant wait for results pal👍

    For it b relevant a proper shake as per manufacturer is read otherwise u don’t get proper ingredient mixing just my thoughts. R they all weld thru ?

      I gave each can a good shake, edited out on the video. Only 2 are well through.
