he had his back covered and money wasn't a problem, no wonder he sounds so happy in this clips. problem was he can't take criticism, but instead goes full damage control mode and that made people go away from him and that started a vicious circle of hate from boths sides.
I miss the old Phil back when he was playing games for fun :(

+Chubzdoomer phil became greedy and all the money got to his head, he used john and his friends for money and his mental illness kind of took over and he left the east coast and moved to seattle with his girlfriend, phil leaked a bunch of private text msgs from john online and they didnt wanna work with phil anymore bcuz he became greedy and pushy and phil barely has any fun anymore, he just plays video games and bitches and complains all the time now and insults everyone...his fun old days dont exist anymore...

People can hate DSP all they want, gotta admit that from 2010 until 2013 he gave us some hilarious stuff. TV Superstars and the WWE sims he did were some of the best stuff out there of his.
I do agree that he needs to pack it up. Maybe go back to doing his playthoughs part time and get an office job like before? He should do that, I've been saying it ever since he moved to Seattle.

You can really tell the difference between ten years ago and today. He actually enjoyed himself and didn't hate everything and everyone.
You can't even find his fans on a video about him just haters who apparently like to shoot themselves in the foot. I feel sorry that they can't see the humor from him cause it's great.
I don't understand why there is so much hate for this guy... yeah he's sometimes whiny and he's not good at gaming but he enjoys gaming and his reactions are hilarious.
He's only good for one thing, to laugh and mock at.
he wasnt always like this. he used to be funny and he seemed to genuinely enjoy games like in this video. (I Used to love watching this guy) but that was like 4 years ago, then he just became stale and built an ego to high for us to find him funny.

@@megazion34 He always complained about game mechanics. I don't get why that annoys people though, that makes it funnier. He himself always realizes later on that his excuses are bullshit because he never brings them up in his reviews. Except for fighters, he's always salty in those.

DSP used to be a pretty good guy and definitely helped pioneer lets plays on RUclips, however I'd say his downfall started around the time when he was let off from his job and decided to do RUclips as a fulltime thing. Money can definitely corrupt people.
