You HAVE to be able to appreciate the stealth aspect, obviously spring drive, and realize that 99% of people are not looking at what's on your wrist...and could care less. Love the bezel action on this.
We're not talking about the mass of it. Stealth doesn't relate to size here. We're talking about stealth "wealth" as in an unusually larger price tag of a watch that presents itself as a relatively pedestrian Seiko.
As long as we talk that Seiko is a brand less than other Swiss brands, then people will always think that Seiko is actually a low-end brand..., I personally prefer this watch over Omega Seamaster and Rolex submariner. And for those who think this is stupid, let them be. I'm happy because I know why!
I love that aspect. It is the ultimate nonflex flex if that makes sense. You filter out people who truly understand watches. Every dufus thinks Rolex is peak horology. Then there is the 2nd level dufus who think Omega is peak. And while both brands are fine it is a bit boring to go with what everyboy and their dog goes with just out of conformity and lack of questioning status quo. A Seiko Spring Drive is a cool move. It is sending the right message in my book. You could afford an Omega, even a Rolex or GS but you choose something more stealthy.
This watch won 2019 GPHG diver category. I got one in 2021 for my 40th birthday. Still love it until now. Positives: superior timekeeping precision with spring drive, smooth seconds hand sweep, powerful lume, superb finishing on the polished parts, nice bracelet design, light weight of titanium, wrist presence😂, (personal)preferred handset over the GS diver handset. Negatives: high price point (but i was able to get this brand new for about $4,600 after discount), thick clasp because of the ratchet system, oversized crown (likely for ease of use with gloves on). I dont mind the thickness of the case since i never wear long sleeves. Great review❤

No wonder all of Seiko’s watches under $1500 are just straight up garbage. They try to convince you that their Hardlex is tougher and will not shatter like Sapphire, yet this $6000 Seiko has a Sapphire crystal 😂 They don’t like telling their customers how much harder of a hit you need to shatter a sapphire crystal, over a Hardlex.
I’ve had mine for over a year and this watch stood out to me for so many reasons. Light weight because of the titanium. Not small. I’m no tone of the many who wants a thin, 38 mm dive watch. Dive watches should be large and legible and this one certainly is. The finish is as good as any higher end brand. The spring drive is just amazing and so cool if you can get past the snobby “mechanical only” mindset. Mine had run 5 to 6 seconds fast a month since I got it. And last but not least I love that it says Seiko. Not everyone buys a watch simply because of the brand name on it. Someone on here says this is like a $70k Camry but I’d say it’s more like a $100k Land Cruiser. Tough and built for a purpose with no corners cut. Also I bought mine in new condition for $2.8k. Another nice thing is these are not being marked upon like crazy simply because of the brand name written on them.
This is a fantastic watch and it really is a fantastic stealth piece. There is nothing comparable to Spring Drive and this watch really embodies that 6159 feel and timeless beauty.
This is a brilliant watch. I have always preferred this type of Seiko vs the Grand. Especially because of the fact that you can say to your wife that it costed 300€ 😂
I found a used Green moss dial for $3250. So i pulled the trigger. Was going for a BB58 in S&G but nearly half price LX spring drive blows the Tudor . Though i will get a Tudor S&G someday , perhaps the Chrono . But i love that ftom a distance it looks like a Seiko MM300. Up close the zaratsu finishing , the titanium build quality, spring Drive and the green textures in the dial . Wow it is stunning and well engineered. It loses about 5 seconds a month and it has not left my wrist even though i have bought 4 watches . I cannot take it off its light , has great presence withouy showing off. At 3k or so it is a dream but i wouldn't pay 6k . What a watch .
I own the LE black titanium SBDB037 version of this watch and it's absolutely amazing. The cermet bezel insert, gold seconds hand and black dial all play so well off of each other. I had to go grab it and throw it on while watching this video. Amazing content as always, Bruce, keep it up!
I have owned this Seiko LX titanium spring watch since 2019 and I am very pleased with it. Mine is black and it can be worn in both casual and formal settings. I do not feel self-conscious wearing it in comparison to the Omega Seamaster, which is a more ostentatious watch. Additionally, the Omega requires resetting when it loses accuracy, whereas the LX titanium spring does not. I am very happy with my watch, and I appreciate that even those who are not watch enthusiasts recognize it as a Seiko.

Have two of these- the black and the limited brown cermet version. Both great watches and wears much nicer than the MM300 due to the all titanium construction. I must be missing something. A $6000 Seiko Prospex. That clasp looks awful, and seems pressed on the top shell. No on the fly adjustment. Dive extension looks terrible. I love the LX collection. Gave the blue GMT a miss and went with the special edition
I want that movement and clasp for my Willard.
Hello Bruce!! Can you review the new limited Landmaster Sla071!
What model is this? Can you tell me the reference number ty?
Its actually awesome i love when seiko go crazy
I want the all black one. I wish it didn't have power reserve though. Seems useless to me and looks bad. And im worried that over sized crown would dig into my wrist.
If I see someone wearing a tudor or breitling im gonna say oh nice watch. If I see someone wearing this Seiko LX im gonna say WOW!
For the movement and finishing, im hard pressed to say it doesn't justify its price but i just couldnt pay 6k for a seiko. This thig has potential to be an absolute bargain on the used market down the line though. Imagine this level of watch for like 4k.
Awesome watch. Very much it's own thing. Nicer than the Grand Seiko's IMHO.
Rolflex or Seikopath either way people are going to have something to say about it so wear whatever you like. If I want stealthy I’ll wear my G-shock.😄
I’d give you 3k for one - which might happen on the preowned gray market 18-24 months down the line
Beautiful watch!
It's nice, but I'll keep my Blumo that you convinced me to buy a few years ago. 😁 I think this is a case of diminishing returns.
That is utterly FINE! LOVE IT! Ive owned the Seiko 600m Spring Drive twice and I miss it and regret that I sold it twice. Man if I could afford this exact Seiko Spring Dive Diver, I would be wearing it now! I've actually tried my best not to watch or I avoid seeing this one because I know it's out of my reach. Man it's perfect! Great diver to review! Spring Drive is the most accurate smooth movement on the planet.

Power meter on the dial though...
At least no lume plot at 3.
Looks a whole lot like an SLA055, except thicker and a blander dial. But the makers, hands and case shape is exactly the same.
The Watch bezel is made of ceramic, as confirmed by someone who owns The Watch.
I like the watch!
Hey Bruce, turn on the lights, don’t like the new set
Does the bezel at least line up?
Bruce Williams it’s normal for the price it’s a SPRINGDRIVE no matter if branded GRAND SEIKO KING SEIKO OR SEIKO it’s a Spring Drive for god sake 😅
This is a beautiful watch. May it be worth 6000$ ? At the place of a grand seiko ?
Hard to belive that's not a GS!
Funny thing is, this GS is not even comfortable to wear compared to a Panerai Luminor 44mm. Or even 47mm
It’s an mm 300 on steds but it’s not for me.
I like your videos ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Thank you
This is you basically getting the MarineMaster300 for a sixth or seventh time. 😂
Since Exquisite Timepieces is an authorized Seiko dealer, why is Seiko asking $6,000 for this piece?
"I don't want to let people know how much I spent on this."
*Makes a RUclips video for the whole world to know. 🙃
300 meters is not true... emperor tuna has 1000 and in the actual test it went to 4100 meters.
I'd rather get this than a Rolex Submariner. If money was no object that is.
The Seiko MM300 beats it in price/quality 😁
stealthy.... LMAO😂
For the money, Seiko/GS’ clasp and extension system is just laughably bad to the point of being non competitive.
For 6K you’d expect a fully lumed bezel 😂
Real ones know seiko is king
The guy who designed this watch also designed Ferrari cars.
Stop saying it s a seiko! Like it is a shame… this is top of The top
I wish Seiko didn’t do the X on the dial. This is never a $6000 watch!
2.8k for that is well.. not smart
Not psychopath, its Seikopath 😅
Just hate the 4 oclock crown
Love it .
A typical Seiko thing, it’s in their DNA.
La ghiera è in ceramica ! The bezel Is ceramic !
That clasp looks like such trash. I would never buy a GS because of the clasp alone.
Seiko do ceramic bezel inserts. But for HIGHER end pieces they do saffire over aluminium.
6k is a joke. It’s oversized. The bracelet is straight up junk, and have the same price as a Rolex OP41.
You can get a Seiko Mod for this look. Just silly
You know what’s the biggest joke?
People who still believe in Swiss fairytales.

In English please?
I must be missing something. A $6000 Seiko Prospex. That clasp looks awful, and seems pressed on the top shell. No on the fly adjustment. Dive extension looks terrible. I get the finish looks sublime, and it's spring drive, but outside of that I don't see the value. If Seiko were criminally under valued in the past, they are criminally over priced now.
