Could you give me a some information about Optometry collages's requirements for international students ? What should I do to get into the Optometry school ?
Hey Meg I saw you on RUclips and Im thinking about getting into optometry and I’m a junior in college now starting next month. Well technically a sophomore in college but junior by credits. And my major is biology with emphasis in pre pharmacy but I worked as a tech in the summer and realized I don’t really like pharmacy and I want a different career path. I wanted to ask for your advice if I should keep the same major and still apply to optometry school or change? Will this make me stand out? Also I haven’t done any extra curriculars what would you recommend? I know shadowing is good but how many hours minimum do you recommend? and what else would help like clinical hours or research.
Hey Megan, I'm currently an OPTI at OSU College of Optometry and I am interested in starting a vlog to raise awareness of the profession and what we are able to do as health care providers! I've never done anything like this before and am just wondering what editing software/camera you use and how much time it takes on average for you to make a video.
Hey that’s awesome!! I use my LUMIX camera and iPhone to film, and I edit with Final Cut Pro. The time it takes me to edit varies :) some videos only take a few hours to film and put together, others take me weeks 😅 but I really enjoy it. I wish you the best of luck in starting!
