Gian Del Rosario 😊 I now ordered the same because of your video! Can’t wait to test it soon! May I ask what settings you used? Was it Full HD with 120FPS? Also, how did you do the slow zoom shots? Thanks so much in advance!!
@@chefkuyajoey it's a mix of 120 fps and 60 fps. Probably 90% was done 60 fps. The slow zoom shots was done handheld. So basically zooming in using my body movement slowly. Anyway enjoy the camera once you get it!
@@GianDR great job. I'm looking at buying xt30, I already have a lens to put on the camera so was thinking to buy a body only. Unfortunately the lens doesn't have stabilization so I'm just wondering how hard will it be to film with no stabilization in the camera or the lens.
@@lukaz861 At the moment my lens has stabilization but I still try to shoot with a neck strap fully stretch just for additional stabilization specially when I shoot combined with a little bit of walking. Stabilization in post also helps if it still shakey for your liking.
This was beautiful made. Kudos to your skills. I am very beginner, I have xt3 with kit lens and just purchased 16mmf2.8 lately. I cannot wait to use it in my travel photography next year. Any suggestions how to improve my videography ? I do have shaky hands, will a regular tripod will be beneficial ? I haven't tried a gimbal but I find them expensive and lot of work to balance it. Thanks.
Thanks! If you're travelling and you want to travel light, I would suggest not to bring a gimbal especially when you said there's a struggle on balancing it. What I do is shoot on 60p or 120p to play it on slow motion. It really helps when your hands are shaky. Also, I used a neck strap when shooting sometimes as it adds another form of stabilizer when you stretch it fully while shooting.
Thanks for the compliment. :) If budget is not an issue i'll probably go with an x-t4. I love fujifilm so probably will upgrade to the same camera brand. :)
@@GianDR I can tell from your channel, that you have worked with a number of different cameras. I would love to get a sony a7iii, but it is pricey. What camera or lens would you recommend to get that would have that fantastic cinematic charm + stabilization to it that is close to sony a7iii? Thank you!
@@anelya2239 i've used some sony and canon cameras and i can say that gears don't really matter that much. People have their own personal styles and preference and i normally get the camera that suits my preference. I'm satisfied with the 18-55 fuji kit lens because of my budget and covers basically most of the things i shoot and it has image stabilization. Also, if you check my previous videos, i also used the m50 which is not that expensive but loved shooting with it because of its autofocus and flat profile that is easy to colorgrade. I would go with that budget camera with good lens as well. Probably a quality prime lens. I'm thinking of keeping my xt30 and just buy a prime lens (fujinon 16 f1.4 or 35 f2). :)
@@GianDR wow the lenses you have mentioned are quite pricey (800 usd). Would it work the same if I used canon/nikon lenses (which are cheaper)? So if the gear is not that important, would sony a7 mark ii or sony alpha a7? or is xt3 better?

hello. very like your video.. if you do not mind May I ask a question? I'm thinking about Sony 6400 and Fuji t-30. Why did Sony change to Fuji? 4k shooting is a 10-minute limit is not uncomfortable?
Hi. To be honest im just curious at first and seen a lot of videos about the film simulations that the new fuji cameras have. I really liked the eterna as i can mostly upload clips with minimal color grading or not even putting any luts. The video shooting limit doesn't really affect me as I don't professionally shoot long wedding ceremonies. I only shoot family videos as you can see. The only feature I missed with the sony is the faster autofocus but overall I'm happy with the switch. :)
Do some tutorials on how do you achieve such looks. You are THE guy for my question. See I saw your video about M50 and 22mm. Bought it. Now I see that XT3 has a lot features. Do you think I should sell this M50+22 and get Fuji as you have both cameras you might guide me correctly. Which do you find amazing which camera from your experience. Please do tell me in detail it will help me a lot.
Hi. I think it really goes down to what style of video you are trying to do. I still love the m50 but the main reason I moved to xt30 is because I can shoot at super slomo (just my style) and don't lose autofocus. For me autofocus is important as you can see on my video I always shoot my daughter that is running around all the time. Also for me, editing is faster with the xt30 as I normally just adjust some highlights, midtones and shadows. But most of the time if I exposed it properly I just put it straight out of the camera using film simulation eterna. I still love the m50 but if you have the budget I would suggest to upgrade. The fujifilm kitlens is also perfect for shooting video as it has stabilization.
To be honest for me eterna is already good enough but also still flat enough to apply some luts with it. Either you just adjust the saturation a little bit or just play around with highlights, midtones or shadows. For me it depends on whatever suits your style.
Such a wholesome video. Can you please tell how you got the slow-motion 4k? Did you record in 1080p and then upscaled the video to 4k or did you record in 4k and interpolated the frames to get 24fps slow motion?
@@GianDR ow okayy nice, and would you know why my video on youtube looks a bit pixelated? The image falls apart a bit, maybe the editing program (davinci resolve free)?
Hi! how come the video was so stable? i just bought xt30 with 35mm 1.4f but the video was so shaky if i record just with handheld only.. do you use warp stabilizer? and what is the recommendation setting for the video to be edited? full hd with 200 mbps was to laggy with my premiere.. pls answer. thx
Hi. Do you happen to have a sample footage of the video you have shot? I do use stabilization in post and as you can see I use short clips as longer ones can sometimes show the shakiness. I also shoot full hd 200 mbs with eterna film simulation. Also I shoot 60fps and play it in 24 fps as slowmo adds stabilization as well.
This was something special, thanks.
Glad you like it . Thanks!
