- POV Photography Fujifilm XT30 18-55mm f2.8 - Small Irish Village. We stayed in the small fishing town of Portaferry for a few days last week & thought it was a perfect spot for a sunrise POV photography session. The sunrise did it's thing nicely and we just wandered around in the early hours of the morning making photos of this peaceful little village. I was shooting with the XF 18-55mm f2.8 on the Fuji XT30. Really happy with how the photos turned out and we look forward to doing more videos like this.

All the shots of the architectures are wonderful and the the last live shot of you two with no other human presence calls the shots of my heart!!

I just got my self A XT30ii and have been going through yalls videos. Always liked taking pictures with my phone and thought it was time to get a camera finally. Never had any training or taken any classes on photography so seeing how you take photos is a big help.

love the video. 1 question however, why are you using electronic shutter rather than mechanical one?
Cheers glad you enjoyed it :) Well for the type of photos we take I don't think it really matters to much whether it's electronic or mechanical so we just left it on electronic 👍

Hey Joe, we actually have a collection of presets that we will have available at some point in the near future. Just keep an eye out as we will probably announce it in a video & the discord chat 😀
helo, when you take the picture which fujisimulation did you used?
We just use the Provia Std profile for photos then edit them in Lightroom 👍
Many of your photos was warm after post processing.... the videos were not as warm... any reason behind that?
Hey! The footage from the action cam probably made things look a little colder than it actually was & I didn't do much color grading to that footage. The photos also made things look more on the cooler side so I added some warmth which is also how I like my edits 👍
Do you hate the shutter sound? Mine is so loud!
In this video I was using the electronic shutter which is a little strange haha I now use the mechanical one which sounds nice I think 👍🏼
Ergonomic-wise would you say the X-T3 is better than the X-T30?
Hey Kevin, we haven't actually used the X-T3 but from what we know grip wise the X-T3 is gonna be more comfortable to hold and also there is a little more space between buttons and dials etc. Obviously the X-T30 is the smaller camera so if that's what you're after then maybe it's a better choice. We have got used to holding it now so don't notice the lack of grip just as much lol
@@MacnTeensVisuals Thanks for your reply. In terms of image quality. Both will produce the same result right? I am debating between the X-T3 and X-T30. I do really like the size of the X-T30 though. Currently shooting with a Canon EOS R and looking for a smaller body to carry around. Probably with a 16mm f1.4 or f2.8
@@KevinHPhotography No problem at all. Oh yeah image quality will be the same, as they use the exact same sensor. I believe the XT30 auto focus might be slightly better. Totally get it, having a smaller camera is really nice at times. The XT30 isn't weather sealed but I'm sure you probably know that anyway.
