    Great picking Pete, those tubular locks can be fun to pick when you get used to them. I can hear the hard rain, we have it just as bad here!!! Also had really heavy hailstones which come right down our chimney because we don't have a cap (and they melt on the rug at the bottom leaving black marks!!!)

      Thanks, that what happens if you live North of Watford Gap :-) :-)

    Thanks for your method. I was trying to pick while using a tension bar on the core. Like other people show. In their videos.
    Yours shows that you don't need to have some useless bar in the way. That you need to work around. And the core turns by its self. It took a while to do. For my first pick. I did get my new toolbox open. And put a key in a non locking cabinet.

      0:45 Was tensioned from behind for camera. So you need bar in real life situations. Just saying

    this was very eye opening, I like the straw and the pen the best

    that was a great pick Pete. Tubular's can be a lot of fun to pick. And I'll take that hard rain rather than the 18inches of snow we had last week. But it's almost all gone now. Hopefully that's it for this year.

      @peterestall  7 лет назад

      Thanks, they do seem a bit of fun, I'll have to try and find some more now, good luck with the snow, we haven't had a decent snowfall for years, an occasional one is nice to see :-)

    Appears to be better than the average key lock.

    Great work again buddy.
    Unfortunately my tubular came too late (today) so I missed that part of the spring break challenge 😩😭😪💩,will have to wait until next year now.
    What amount of tension were you using on that lock (just so I can do the same with mine🤔🤔🤔😉😘😘👍
    Thanks as always for sharing🍺🎉😍😍👍

      Thanks, I did find I had to alter the tension, started off medium, I found it easier to get the initial ones to set that way, and then when none of the pins moved any more I started lightening it up until they did.

    How about you come to my house, pick my lock and take it out so I can put it in a vise where it is stable, well-lit and easy to get at. Then I can make a video of me playing with the "tool" and not really showing anybody anything but telling them how easy it is to pick one of these. And, at the very least, once you have picked my lock and taken it out, my problem is solved.

    Ur picking a lock that is out already. And what was ur hand doing holding the back of the lock when it unlocked.

    • @JM-yx1lm
      @JM-yx1lm 6 лет назад +3

      luis garcia are you dumb or what? He was holding tension on the back just as you would the front. Only reason he held it on the back was so you could see the camera angle. Ya, youre just dumb, nevermind.

      Sucks because I dont understand how he put it back into place because clearly we have no access to turn the back of the lock when it is attached to the machine ...
