This town was so Quaint and lovely, i really enjoy looking at the house's and the Canal, especially the house where William Shakespeare was born, thank you for taking us with you in your travels❤❤
Your home town, I see where all the idioms come from ☺️ I used to like reading Shakespeare's sonnets, even though you have to get through all the metaphors and "read between the lines" a lot. I even learned some by heart) It's definitely worth reading some archaic poetic language, I wouldn't want to miss that part of my language experience 🙂

Hello Sam. When you explain the informal expressions of English it makes everything so interesting and fun, because that's exactly what we English lovers want to learn and it's hard to find teachers with this style of teaching English on the Internet. I love your videos. Thank you so much. I'm from Brazil and it's very interesting to know that William Shakespeare coined several of these expressions, as some are identical in Brazil. As I had seen in another of your videos, England and Brazil have a lot in common when it comes to expressions. Good to know that you are a countryman of Shakespeare, I like him a lot, and Stratford-upon-Avon is on my list of visits when I go to England. Take care.
Thanks for your kind message 😊 I would also love to visit Brazil! I have studied Portuguese in Portugal, so it would be a great opportunity to learn some Brazilian Portuguese expressions!! I hope you visit my town!! I'm sure you would love it!

I happened to spend a week in Alcester in 2011, a memorable stay, and I changed from bus to car at the outskirsts of your home town. It was sort of a business trip to Alcester, so I had no opportunity to look around in Stratford, a pity, since I was quite taken even by Alcester, an obvious inferior. Somehow I managed to quip this pun upon the visit though: "When in Alcester, Mister, Make sure you meet a spinster, Composed by Harold Pinter" (another venerable inferior, this time of course to Shakepeare).
cheers. Nice video. When I watch your videos I am smiling and I feel good. Your performance is light and you show us a good person. Obviously we are learning and traveling with you. Regards from Veracruz. Mexico.
